Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Friendly service. Good quality on the food with large portion sizes. Decent selection. All four of us enjoyed our meals, and I'll definitely return again. Recommended.

My husband and I had heard great things about Matt's so we decided to try it. Matt's did not disappoint! We were so impressed with the food and by how big their menu was. We had the breakfast buffet. Other reviews say they have an omelette/crepe station, this is no longer the case. However, the menu has so many great things that it would be difficult not to find something. We will be stopping in again for sure.

Stopped on motorcycle trip. Awesome soup and salad bar. Real turkey sandwich was just what I was craving. Alas, no hand cut fries or else this woulda been 5 stars!

Was snowmobiling through the Roscommon area with my wife and we were starving for some brunch. We had heard that Matt's Lake St Grill & Pizzeria had good pizza and sandwiches so we thought we would try it. The restaurant is small and cozy with about 10-15 tables. It has the "up-north" feel being decorated in a lot of wood with moose accents. I really liked the look of the inside. We were greeted immediately and told to sit where ever we like. Restaurant appeared to be very clean even though it was pretty busy. Wife was pleasantly surprised on how good the coffee was. On to the food... they had a "made to order" omelet and crepe bar. I could probably stop my review there and you would be sold on the place but I have to give you some more info. LOL! The breakfast bar had omelets with all the toppings, crepes with all the toppings, fruit, toast, muffins, yogurt, granola, and biscuits. I started with ham and cheese omelet that was full and bursting at the seams. Then I moved on to the crepes with a peanut butter and raspberry preserve crepe. I was very happy with the quality of both. I wanted to eat more but was stuffed!!! Next time we are in the area we are stopping to try some more of the meals. The menu looked great and also can't wait try the pizza. If they are as good as the brunch we had we will be very happy

Stopping in Roscommon for an overnight visit, we found this charming small town place and had consecutive meals there. Friday night was an excellent cod dinner prepared in one of three ways. Great pies for dessert. Saturday morning was their "COW breakfast" - Crepes, Omelets and Waffles prepared in front of you at a bar by friendly John, with fresh fruit, fritters (!) and cinnamon buns to fill out your plate - all good and fresh. Great wait staff and very reasonable prices. We usually blow past this city toward a destination further north, but Matt's is now on our list to stop on future trips. Five minutes off the freeway. Forget the fast food near the freeway ramps; this is small town America food at its finest.
