I was here last week and the line was literally out the door. First off let me say that this town is adorable, so the atmosphere here is great. I had a banana cream pie blizzard and it was very filling and good. I like that they serve a mini size. It tasted homemade and different from the usual DQ ice cream which has a powder base. The staff was very friendly. The only thing they could improve on would be to start using organic ingredients that they could buy locally and drop the powder all together.

A few years ago I asked the owner why he wasn't open in the winter because they have the heated enclosed ordering area, and I was told by the owner he would loose money staying open during the winter. Thank god the new owners have decided to stay open all year. I love the chili foot longs from this place. I will eat here all winter ordering the chili foot longs and banana split blizzards. I'd also like to take this opportunity to welcome the Romeo Dairy Queen to the 21st century now that the new owners take credit and debit cards. My only complaint would be I was in there a few nights ago, and ordered chili foot longs for my wife and I, and they have a tip jar on the counter. I threw a couple dollar bills in the tip jar, and not one of four employees standing behind the counter acknowledged I just tipped them or said thank you. I'll continue to go there and order the chili foot longs, but maybe they don't need my tip.

My order has never taken more than 3 minutes to be completed AND i've never been unsatisfied with my selection. These ice cream items are always made consistently and effectively, even when they are super busy in the mid-summer. I do not understand, however, why Dairy Queen can't make a better experience while you wait. It always seems like you're in a barn, waiting for the cattle in front of you to move through. Sometimes I want to "moo" really loud while I wait in line, but for fear of the predictable strange looks, I have yet to do this. DQ's are always in an older building (either by design or it's actual age) and it's usually packed (because most everyone loves ice cream). Regardless, service is good (even for very young, inexperienced employees), ice cream is delicious and we regularly go for a "walk" and happen to stop in - or park there, get our ice cream and then walk. We love it, baby loves it and it's a great way to spend a week night out, getting some fresh air. I'll be back soon.

WHAT??!! FIRST TO REVIEW!!?? I really must be the only person north of M-59 doing any reviews! This place has been here for EVER!!! Closed in the winter, serving food as well.. Just your typical Dairy Queen, but it never dissapoints. There is ALWAYS a line out the door, but don't worry, fast and efficient workers make the wait bearable. It's on the corner of Main and Tillson....if you don't know Tillson ( terrorontillson.com ) come check that out this fall.. So it's easy to find, right downtown, and it hits the spot!!

This is the dirtiest DQ, or restaurant for that matter, that I have ever been in. It really grossed me out and I did not get anything. The patio is also uncomfortable, won't be back.
