Excellent taste profiles. Loved the Cool-bah, chicken pot pie, and the happy hippie blt - zippy with jalapeño cream cheese and Cherrywood bacon. Great personal, friendly service! Our current favorite place in Rockford!

Excellent fresh food! Great wraps & homemade veggie burger. Been there several times and will return many times.

We had lunch outside on a beautiful day. It was really sunny and we asked to adjust the umbrella but they had no idea how. The service was a little slow but the food was delicious. I had the 1/2 sandwich and salad and chips. There were so many options that two other people in my party chose this as well. Everything was fresh and delicious. The best part of the meal was the dessert. we had the payday bar and the chocolate mint bar. They were decadent and so delicious. So save room for dessert people!

I'm really happy that Ramona's Table moved to Rockford. Downtown was in serious need of sandwich shop. The building has been renovated and has outside seating. It's really nice. They have a large selection of sandwiches. I got the caprese, which was good but I would have liked the mozzarella a little more melted. My hubby got the Greatwich. His sandwich was really good! We were in time for $3 drink specials! I like this place and will definitely go back.

What a lovely setting sitting out on the patio in beautiful weather overlooking the dam. We happened to go there on Vinol Wenesday so they offered half off all wine. I love deals like that. I ordered the shrimp pesto salad and it was just terrific. The shrimp was warm while the salad was cold and the shrimp was done to perfection. They had a wide selection of sandwiches salads burgers and some soups were offered as well so I'm sure you'd be able to find something you would enjoy

What a perfect spot to sit with a local beer or wine overlooking the river. My wife and I shared the thai wraps. Awesome! Our waitress, Brenna, was fast and courteous. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Rockford, which is a nice town to visit as well.

My favorite sandwich place! So many great choices and every one that I have had so far have been fantastic! They are big enough to share but it is hard to give up half because they are so good. The service is great and always helpful, the sides are awesome as well, love the chili! Plus a good beer selection!

Had lunch when visiting recently. They have a nice outside deck right on the water...lots of bikers and walkers stopped to eat here so it's very casual. I paid $10 for a mahi mahi salad that was excellent....fresh and delicious with a generous piece of fish that would have cost $10 at Whole Foods for just the piece of fish minus the salad....great deal! My partner had one of the salads with chicken on top which was equally delicious. The server was outstanding and friendly as were the other staff members we encountered. We did not have dessert but they looked amazing and I'll try some on my next visit.

I absolutely love Ramona's table! I had a chicken wrap with a potato salad, and I couldn't get enough. The quality is fantastic, and the service is so welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this store highly for lunches and dinners. I will continue to go here and it is highly reccomended!

Great location overlooking the river; friendly and attentive staff (several drink refills without asking); innovative menu items, fresh ingredients. I ordered the meatloaf sandwich with homemade pesto potato salad. The meatloaf was unique with a BBQ smokiness and still comfort-food goodness. It came on a tasty pretzel bun. The potato salad, however, was lifeless and just "there." My wife ordered the molé chicken taco which I sampled. The portion size was good but it was pretty tasteless. The sauce did not contain any of the complex spice palate of other molé dishes I've eaten. My wife reported the tortillas were dry and flavorless. The chips and salsa side were up to standard. Overall the experience was mediocre though it may be worth a try. They have many selections on their menu.

The first time my family and I dined there all five of us were extremely pleased. We were seated outside and service was good and food excellent. Menu was new and different and fun! We were anxious to return and try something else on the menu. The next time we ate there, the three of us were seated on the patio, and the seating arrangment was very crowded and awkward, even though the patio was not crowded. We each ordered different menu items and were all disappointed. I ordered the peach salad and it was mush. Another ordered half sandwich and salad and the salad had no dressing. The other person ordered a salad and it, too, had no dressing. We mentioned to waiter and nothing was ever brought out. We ordered the appetizer of dips which came with chips, bread, etc. Five pieces on the plate for three people and three containers of appetizer dips. We asked if more bread/chips could be obtained and was it would be an extra charge. My tea had very little ice. The others ordered beer, but the service was very slow. So disappointed. Not sure I'll return.

Enjoyed a great meal on the deck overlooking the river. We had the GReatwich and the MerryMerry sandwiches and they were delicious. Local draft of hard cider from Kayla Rae's Cellar was outstanding. We will be back!

This was such a great find!! We were on the highway traveling back to Chicago from Boyne Mountain and trying to find something for our family of six to eat. Based on the Yelp reviews for Ramona's Table we decided to take the gamble and drive 15 minutes out of our way to find a good lunch that wasn't fast food. Kids had chicken fingers and Mac and Cheese. I had the Ramos Noodle dish, my hubby had the steak sandwich and my Mom had the meatloaf sandwich. All meals were so fresh tasting and enjoyed by all! We topped it off with their carrot cake and brownie which were to die for!! Very cute decor and very clean as well. Will try to find a way back to come here again!! Thank you for the great meal!!

I've been there about three separate times at three different times of the day. 1.) If you can eat outside on the patio on a nice night, I highly recommend it. The ambience is that of a sandwich shop. Clean, staff are friendly. 2.) The ordering sequence is bizarre. If you are there to eat in, you have to wait to be seated, yet order at the counter. If you get a drink while you wait, you pay at the bar separately than when you pay for your food, yet the computer maintains your credit card from the bar to the food counter, yet the tab gets closed both times. Yeah, I don't quite get it either. Granted, I've only dined-in once and that was shortly after the opening. I've heard they've revised this asinine procedure of the bar paying separately. 3.) The food is just okay, also considering about $9-$10 for a sandwich. They have an extensive menu, and my wife and I have tried many things; neither of us have been impressed with anything. The sandwiches sound great on the menu, but then are just lacking. They seem kind of dry and have had some "no-flavor" added, and the features that make the sandwiches good and unique are used sparingly, so you only get "hints" of the sandwich's full potential. It is just a bit of a disappointment from the promise of the extensive menu. With the sandwiches you have a choice of a.) Roasted Potatoes - No good. As bland and soggy as can be. b.) Side salad - These are not the delicious sounding salads on the menu, but are these little salads they have at the counter. They don't have them on the menu, so you can't quite tell what you're getting. I've had a few of them, and have yet to find one that's very good. The place has a lot of promise, and is a great alternative to much of the downtown Rockford fare, but they have to bring up the food quality a little bit considering the price and that sandwiches are their forte.

Homemade soups everyday and they are amazing. About a million different sandwiches, salads, burgers, apps, desserts, wine, beer and fast service. This restaurant is a must! Atmosphere is hip but a bit noisey. Service is very good. Prices are average. Sit upstairs, you can view both levels from the counter area. I will return frequently to continue to explore the soup choices! Welcome to Rockford Ramona! We are happy to have you!

What a wonderful little spot! The service was fabulous. We walked in with a group of about 20 and they were beyond accommodating and patient. Everyone's food was fresh, delicious and the presentation was equally as wonderful. Additionally, the menu is huge and diverse. Not to mention it is very affordable. This is a must at anytime of the day if you're in the area.

A first timer at Ramona's and my mom even treated! Great atmosphere and decor. They have an amazing sandwich selection that is very unique and diverse. Mom had the Mery Mary and loves it. I had the Cool-Baah with lamb. The Cool-Baah is really a gyro. Although tasty, it doesn't stack up to the Gyro I am used too. Would not order again. They have amazing homemade sides that come with your entree. Brian our server was a delight. Would love to try everything on their menu.
