A well presented pizza should be a piece of art. Perfectly placed toppings, evenly spread sauce, finely layered cheese and a heavenly crust, in other words properly balanced. This place does exactly that. Perhaps the best presented pie I've come across in my journey of pizzerias ( 87) of them. What I will take away from here are 3 things : The crust, while a wood oven is not used, have managed to get a charred, crunchy crust on the bottom and a light, fluffy crust up top, A +. The toppings, while I only had pepperoni with Italian sausage they were presented in a unique way. Pepperoni's cover each slice and have a row of 3-4 at the top, looks cool. Italian sausage were cut so perfect they were shaped like quarters, and flavored with spices or something, A +. Customer service, PHENOMENAL is the only way to describe how I felt, most importantly honest about their product ( s), A +. Their cheesy breadsticks are amazing as well due to the non-typical shape and form. Buy them. So why not 5 stars? Well ultimately it comes down to ovens. While brick ovens are close and make a good product they just aren't able to reach the same temperature as a wood/coal oven can. Therefore the pizza doesn't have that smoky flavor or the charred toppings and crust as much as I prefer. I will be back with company next time ;-) however as I feel this guy is on to something big! Support the small business owners as they usually offer a superior product and remember to keep an open mind, enjoy my friends. Updated : it's tough to keep my rating at four stars with their new pizzas, especially the Noir. I'm waiting to try the deep dish before I change my star rating ;-).

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience when we visited 112 Pizzeria Bistro a few weeks ago. We sat down to eat on a Saturday evening and couldn't have been happier. We started with a house salad and some cheesy breadsticks. The salad was nice and fresh with their delicious house dressing. The breadsticks are some addictive little slices of heaven. A nice garlic flavor and plenty of cheese to go around. It would have been a total knock out if the sauce to accompany them was warm, but I'm not about to deduct points for that. For pizza we ordered the Busy Siegel which was better than described. Truth be told I was a bit hesitant due to the cherry peppers which I feared would overpower the pizza. Boy was I wrong. The pizza was perfect. From the toppings to the perfectly thin and delicious crust, this was an amazing pizza pie. To top the experience off, one of the owners heard it was our first time visiting and she came out to introduce herself. Her name escapes me at the moment but she could not have been more friendly. We had a nice conversation about how they got started and how they get a vast majority of their ingredients from Eastern Market downtown. We really enjoyed meeting her and the dining experience was top notch. We'll be back for sure!

I think some reviews are misinformed. 112 makes a NY style pizza. NY style is never charred that is super thin and out of of wood oven. If you want that kind of pizza you need to go to Fresco where it cooks in a few minutes. This is a classic NY style pie and a excellent one. Owner came out to show me my pie and I could not drive home fast enough to dig in. I loved the crust and savored every bite. Everything screamed quality. This would easily be my once a week pie but I am a little far but I will get up there once a month. It is that good.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! The breadsticks are also some of the best, if you like cheese, and the pastas are great too. Lunch time can be a bit busy, though, if you are looking for anything other than a slice of pizza. I would recommend ordering ahead of time, especially if you want a whole pizza or some pasta. Been here twice already and it's great! The service is friendly too. I'd definitely recommend this place!

I travel to the Auburn Hills area for work and look forward to eating at this place every time I go there. Real New York style is hard to come by outside of New York. This is definitely real New York style pizza. I love folding it in half and eating it while the crust crunches perfectly together. This is the best pizza place in either Michigan or Ohio. I met the owner awhile ago, my second or third time being there. He was also there today and you can tell he takes great pride in his pizza and business.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem and was beyond surprised. The food is really delicious. We tried the st. Aubin pizza and the cheesy breadsticks. They were out of this world good. Crust is perfectly thin with that crusty crunch. The cheesy bread is an absolute must. Made from the thin crust and then filled with the perfect amount of cheese. This alone will be the reason for my return. The atmosphere is extremely casual. And the service is quick. We will be back!

Just noticed 112 was open and decided to give them a shot. It was as good of a pie as I have had, and I just came back from NY. Artisan crust, stone oven, top notch ingredients, whole roasted garlic cloves. I was literally in pizza heaven. It's obvious they are passionate about their food and if you don't want to drive to Eastern Market, this is a pretty damn good choice.

Amazing pizza. Worth every penny. I'm not usually a fan of thin crust pizza, but this place has me hooked. My only complaint is that it's always cold inside, which results in my food getting cold before I can finish eating. Problem is easily solved by getting carry out.

The pizza is so, so good. The pizza is more expensive than a lot of the chain places, but it is a great value. We got an 18" pizza and it turned out to be 8 huge slices that fed three adults nicely. Keep in mind, it can get really pricey if you go crazy adding extra toppings. Can't wait to go back, the specialty pizzas sound really interesting.

My husband and I agree that this is the best pizza ever! So happy we found this place...we are now regulars!!! We keep wanting to try other great looking things on the menu but we can't get past the Corrington pizza. Never disappoints. A Local pizza place, and the owner takes pride in his product. I've taken many people to this place and everyone has loved it. Its the best in the area that I know, and my kids (who are serious pizza snobs) swear by it. I Recommend a salad with the house dressing, cheesy breadsticks, and The St. Aubin pizza.

This place has the best pizza I have had in a long time. The crust is chewy in the middle but crisp on the bottom and has great flavor. The toppings are top notch quality and generously porportioned. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. I highly reccommend them. The seating area is a little small, but I would stand outside in the snow for this pizza.

We love the pizza! Its not your typically pizza joint. The slices are large and filling. We've ordered the salad a few times and were disappointed. They don't put a lot of fetta on it and it was mainly just lettuce. The salad is big enough to share. The balsamic dressing for it is delicious. If your looking for great pizza, this is your joint!

good local pizza. had their corrington pizza because of the truffle oil. gotta say, makes a difference. it was topped with peperoni and basil, if i remember correctly. a whole pizza is HUGE. more than enough for two people. we also got their mozzarella bread sticks. large, pieces, full of cheese and very tasty. also come with two dipping sauces, ranch and marinara. the staff is very friendly and the place is clean. not too big though. around 5-10 tables. the pizza did take a little bit of time to come out. i'd say around 15min. good place for a pizza fix.

I think my biggest problem is that I have never been to NYC nor Italy and I did not grow up eating thin pizza. I grew up with wicked thick-ass Detroit square which I believe the rest of the world is missing out on. I don't understand the big proliferation of overpriced, trendy NY style pizza places opening everywhere in MI. I can come to terms with the fact that a lot of you foodie-douches and East coast transplants think I am brain damaged for not really digging on your thin pie but I think nostalgia / what you were reared on plays a big role in taste......Moving on.... I stopped here for lunch the other day and had a couple roni slices and a pop. I was hustlin" so I chowed in my truck on the way....gave me a chance to eat "NY style" (fold and tilt....then wait for the grease stream to slow down...then bite.) The crust is like nothing I have ever had before, it was unique in the taste and texture and very good. The ingredients are obviously fresh and high quality. The service was super nice. The interior was clean and bright, even the chalk board menu was meticulous and creative. So, in essence, you need to come check this place out, it was really good. A lil pricey though....almost 8 bones for 2 slices and a pop. (I don't know what the hell I am complaining about.....I dropped $24 on a pep wheel at Anthony's in AA last week, phew.

Just ate here for lunch and what a awesome surprise. This was some of the best pizza I've had in a while thats for sure! The interior of the place is decorated nice kinda has that warehouse loft look to it, they had some nice music playing. The bathrooms were spotless and brand new looking like the rest of the place. So I'm pretty easy when it comes to pizza cheese, I mean I like other toppings but I would be just as happy with just a cheese pizza, my friend wanted peperoni so we got half and half. His half had tons of pepperonis on it even all down the crust, but this thing was cooked to perfection nice and crispy light delicious. The owner came out and talked to us and was super friendly seems he takes alot of pride in his product to personally come to our table numerous times to see how we were doing. They had some homemade pasta dishes and the bread sticks looked amazing my friend said. So if you want a awesome NY Style pizza this place is a must stop!!!

Best NY style I have had in Michigan. Most of their ingredients are from a Eastern Market. You won't find canned mushrooms or sausage crumble here. Quality ingredients. Great pizza!

OK some of these reviews are totally suspect, but what isn't suspect is the pizza. It's totally legit. This is pretty good pizza served by a big, muscley man. Yeah, it's like three times as expensive as a Hot & Ready, but it won't give you rickets. They also have weird toppings like "basil" or whatever if you're into that stuff.

If I was able to give it 1000000 stars, I would. I love this place. Food is excellent, staff is super nice. I really love their pasta, both palomino and Alfredo. Their house salad dressing is amazing (my mouth is watering while I type this). Can't remember the name of the pizza I like, it's under the "white pizza" and has artichoke on it. SO GOOD. Please don't forget the cookie skillet - you'll thank me :)

Having grown up in NY having the real-deal "NY Style" pizza all my life, it's hard to find places in Detroit that come close until now. I tried the St. Aubin and it was liking going home for a visit and getting a pie from my fab pizza joint. They use SLICED Italian sausage which no place I've been in Detroit seems to understand the concept of. 'Loose' sausage on your pizza or something that resembles breakfast sausage IS NOT the same thing. This place gets it and I will definitely be back to get my pizza fix in between visits back to NY

Some really great things are happening here. I enjoyed my pizza. The only gripes I have are baking time related and pertains to their focus on locally sourced ingredients. I love the fact that they push this idea but it could stand to take a greater focus on the pizza itself. The crust had great flavor but could have been baked a bit longer. Char is not only an expected element of neopolitan-style pizza but a welcome addition. I came in around 1:30 and they weren't extremely busy but maybe they usually bake for a longer period of time. The best pizza in Michigan is still Supinos. While 112 doesn't come close to surpassing Supinos, it's still a darned good pizza. I look forward to returning.

The BEST Pizza in town! great people serving great food, the staff is as friendly as it comes and their passion shows in the food. Tried 112 last night with a friend and fellow lover of good food, we were instantly greeted into a warm atmosphere by one of the owners. He answered all our questions and even got our cheese bread order started before we even decided which of their awesome pies we wanted to try. We settled on the Bugsy Siegal (love their names) and grabbed a seat. The dining room has an industrial warehouse look but is very clean and inviting. We were not waiting long before our cheese bread came. the cheese bread is a MUST! So good, sooooo cheeses...it came with a side of Ranch & Sauce each are so good they could be served solo. We tore thru the bread so quickly we almost ate our own fingers. And then it came...my one true love.....18" of perfection! The owner explained his crust has been a project a decade in the making and it shows, simply put the crust (same as the cheese bread crust) is a work of art. It's flakey where it needs to be and chewy everywhere else. It's buttery without being drenched in yellow goo! The ingredients are fresh, the sauce tastes like a just picked tomato. But the star....it's the slow roasted ham, they roast it for hours and then shred it. If a honey glazed ham had a baby with pulled pork it would be this Ham....and I would marry it and run away to Mexico! I can't wait to try something else off this awesome menu, in fact I'm drooling over the menu right now contemplating.........yeah, I gotta go!

I met my husband at 112 Pizzeria Bistro for lunch. We ordered a large thin-crust pizza that took only about 15 minutes. The pizza was NOT "fast food" pizza that tastes like every other pizza (bleh!). The pizza and the ingredients were FRESH, and the crust was PERFECT. The workers were service-oriented and I was so pleased to sit at a table with real plates and silverware. Kids will love the pizza and so will your "guy," yet it is classy (and delicious) enough for the girls, too! Way to go, 112!

i had been wanting to try this place for a while. my boyfriend and i were in the area so we decided to order a pie with cheesy breadsticks. i really liked their options of toppings, however i think i would have liked the pizza better with just pepperoni. i ordered pepperoni, bacon, and spinach. the bacon was cut into big pieces and i prefer smaller bits of it. the cheesy breadsticks were good but they reminded me of grilled cheese for some reason. and i didn't like the sauce they gave us on the side. i would try this place again but only with a one topping pie!

OK, I have to say this is by far my favorite pizza in Detroit. My previous favorites were a tie 1. tomatoes apizza and 2. green Lantern Heck, I will just say it : I've never eaten a better pizza ever. the crust is simply freaking amazing. Light, and very flavorful. also best bread sticks I ever ate My picky eater children inhaled them. my wife raved. the consensus of the family was this : amazing Last time I tried the one with the prosciutto and arugula which was my favorite ( first time we had the pepperoni sausage) We tried them out for the first time last week, and was back there 2 days later. back again the other day. 3rd visit in about 10 days. great every time I got carry out each time and each time we placed our slices on a preheated 500 degree pizza stone in our oven to reheat them and crisp up the crust. That may have increased the crust crunch factor. I did eat a slice the 3rd time prior to rewarming in the oven and I do think the pizza tastes better after the warming process. The crust got even better and crunchier service was friendly. the quality of the ingredients was top of the line all the way around. I can taste cheap, plastic overly sugared sauce and cheap nasty toppings. This was the opposite end of the spectrum. If I was making a pizza for myself and took the care to make it just the way I wanted, and picked out the best ingredients, this is hopefully how it would taste. Of course, they are trained experts, so I will just let them make my pie It's cool little joint in an otherwise boring, cookie cutter strip mall. thank you Yelp for clueing me into this place. It lives up to the rating Nice value too. the small cheese was about 7 bucks. a few dollars more than you would pay for a hot and ready ( yuck) and you get a real pizza instead the small will feed two non-gluttonous adults. large was 15-17 dollars and will satisfy the hungriest of tables.

We love the pizza here. Sometimes you have a craving for thicker crusted pizza, and most times I do not. That is where 112 comes in. I love that it is a thinner crust pizza. I want to taste everything, not just crust. The sauce, cheese, toppings are all so fresh and delicious here. I love that if I am just driving through the area I can just get a slice and not have to get a full pizza. They have several tables to eat in . The workers are super nice. I recommend being adventurous and trying the pizza of the day- you won't be disappointed.

The Italian dressing for the antipasto is great, especially if you like oregano. It doesn't look promising since it's in a strip mall, but it's some of the best pizza I have had.

112 Pizza is a homerun. The pizza is NY style thin crust, with perfect amounts of everything allowing the entire pizza to be balanced. So far we have only done the cheese, but man is it good. The pasta is even better in my opinoin. All I can say is wow.

This is the best pizza I have had in Michigan, hands down. I have had Tomatoes Apizza and they are good too but they are not 112. I was born in NJ and grew up in NJ, Philadelphia and NY so I know what I like as far as pizza goes. 112 changed my view of Michigan after 3 years of searching for a decent pizza place that wasn't a sad ripoff of Chicago pizza. (which is a sad ripoff of lasagne) My GF and soon to be fiance' found this place with help from her friend and fellow yelp contributor "Ron C" and I can't thank them enough for the find. This has changed my quality of life in Michigan dramatically. Thanks to both Holly and Ron, You are my pizza angles... I've met and spoke with both of the owners and they are bright and friendly people. They listen to what the customer wants and make every pie to my expected level of perfection. One of the owners is a good east coast guy that has taken much time to perfect his recipe and I can taste it in every bite. The only real gripe I have with them is they are far enough away from where I live that by the time I get the pie home it is not as warm and fresh as I would like it to be. I just wish they had a location that is closer. Even with that being said it is leaps and bounds above every other single pizza place I have tried in Michigan. So if you are ever in the mood for a pizza that doesn't just have New York, Manhattan or Pen Station in the title (as a cheap way to drum up business) or if you are just a homesick guy from the east coast please stop by 112 Pizza and have a slice, I promise you will not be disappointed. #MyFavoritePlaceToEatInMi

I'm from CT so pizza is very serious in the northeast. I had a slice of cheese and a speciality slice that had Sausage, spinach, goat cheese and roasted garlic. The pizza needed a few more minutes in the oven Imo. It was a little flimsy and the crust was too doughy, not enough crunch. The cheese slice lacked flavor, it needed grated cheese and red pepper to help it for sure. The other slice was much better . but, to judge a pizza parlor, one has to look at the cheese slice. One can hide behind toppings... that's what happened here. Not great pizza overall but not bad. It's better than Jets or Buddy's pizza. Still not up to par to the northeast but has potential. Btw the place was very clean and the staff were really friendly.

Great NY Style thin crust pizza! I am definitely digging this place. It had been quite some time since we last had NY style pizza, and having driven by this place numerous times, it was about time to stop in and grab a pie! The place is immaculate, and not huge. Space wise, it is similar in size to Fresco up on Walton, but a little bigger. It's spaced out thoughtfully, and feng shui is fabulous. :) I loved the chalkboard menu, and the lettering was a work of art. I couldn't decide what to get, so the young man taking my order was helpful in making suggestions. After a few minutes of deliberating, I decided to go halfsies with the St. Aubin and Bugsy Siegel (both pizzas have sauce; they have others without sauce). With names like that, why wouldn't you choose them? They were just so darn cute! ;) St. Aubin consisted of fresh and regular mozzarella, Italian sausage, Parmigiano, and pepperoni. Bugsy Siegel was a mixture of garlic, mozzarella, Havarti cheese, slow-roasted ham, cherry peppers, and fresh basil. The combination of the two went really well together, but I'd have to say that I liked the Bugsy more than the St. Aubin. I think it's because of the peppers. Though the St. Aubin had great texture and flavor without being salty, it was more of a salty/smoky flavor vs. a sweet/salty/smoky/peppery flavor. Husband dug the St. Aubin more, so I guess the two halfsies worked out in our favor! ;) The crust was light, airy, and chewy as they advertise, and for $19 price tag (after taxes for an 18" pie), it was worth it! We gobbled it up super quick! Even better that it wasn't burnt! The two guys that were there were uber friendly, and I was elated at how diligent the place is kept. In fact, the young man that took my order was sweeping the floors and making sure everything was in tact when I arrived around 3:30pm. Two words. Cheesy breadsticks. I'm not kidding. The best I've ever had and the ranch that goes with it is fresh tasting awesomeness. My wife loves them and they are only $5. I dig the pizza. I usually get a slice of pepperoni (they are the huge NY style size) and one is more than enough, especially with breadsticks. The grease pours onto your plate as you hold it, but honestly it's my favorite part : ) Delicious. Next time I'm going to try one of the special ones. This is a fun and great place to go to balance out the Chicago style. It hasn't been terribly busy the past times I've been, I hope people recognize how great this place is.

I can't even begin to describe how elated I was to find a pizza that even compared to pizza places back home in nyc. I'm a vegetarian so I always just get the regular cheese pizza. Which is PERFECT always, yet my roommate says he's never had a sausage like the sausage they put on their pizza here & he's addicted.I can be stuffed full but still want to order another pizza to take home! That is how AWESOME this pizza is! The great flavors of 112 don't just end at the pizza though 112 has a salad I dream about!Their house salad ( w.house dressing they make it there) is so delicious. I feel like a pregnant women I get cravings for it at 3 am. The owner is there often and is a very fit looking guy, who is super nice usually wearing a hat & is GREAT with his customers! If you haven't tried 112 you are definitely missing out!!

I came here after a visit to gamestop. Again impeccable pizza, but the service just amazing. I came in just to grab a slice and eat in. Order, give your name, and take a seat. The staff will bring it out to you on a pizza tray with a plate and silverware. The pizza is warmed in their oven prior to coming out to you. Try the detroiter, it's not on their wall, but damn, talk about a flavorful pizza. I took my family here on another occasion and they thought about kids too. They have coloring books for the kids to occupy their time as they are waiting for the pie. I've said it before, but if you seriously haven't tried this place, you need too.

Pizza is ok if you're looking for a VERY thin crust pizza. Not sure why other Yelpers love this place, it's just ok. I would have given 2 stars if not for the amazing pepperoni. We ordered a large, which looks huge but the crust is extremely thin and there is barely any cheese or sauce. The flavor was ok, not great but not bad. It was pretty greasy too. I've definitely had better pizzas elsewhere, but to be fair thin crust isn't for me.

I was in Mount Clemens and since I was in the neighborhood, I thought it would be nice to put away the apron and have a pizza. I ordered a small 18" St. Aubin (it only had 8 slices). I hoped it was as good as everyone (35 Yelp reviews before I walked in the door) said. Total cost for pizza and two soft drinks was $20 plus tax. I guess the big city pizzas are all the same - you know, Chicago style, New York style, Boston probably has a style - whatever. All I know is that they must have been out of deep dish pizza dough, and furthermore, I guess they didn't have any clean square deep dish pizza pans either. So as a result, I couldn't find any Chicago style (or Detroit, for that matter) deep dish pizza listings anywhere on the menu. Well, my good friend Ron C. wrote a Review of the Day kind of review and I guess that's what kept me there long enough to try out the skinny pizza. Hey, if it's good enough for Ronnny C., then it's good enough for me. Kudos go out to David P. and his review, as well. OK, I have my homeboy favorites, but honestly, the 112 Pizzeria Bistro offering was pretty good! I mean, it was good enough that I pulled two greenbacks from my pocket and left them as a tip (no, I'm not a cheap bast*rd - they were $2 bills). Here's a tip for those who don't know - grab a paper menu from up by the cash register and on the back there are a couple coupons. One of them is $2 off for orders over $20. , There were a couple high chairs for the younger crowd, 5 or 6 tables with corresponding stamped aluminum chairs, background music, hmmmm... what am I missing - oh yeah, no wifi. The half-wall separating the kitchen from the dining area was tastefully done in re-purposed barn wood. For all you vegetarians like me, they have meatless offerings, and they also have pizzas without sauce. I don't know how that works, but they offer it. All in all, a good place to get a great skinny pizza, or thin crust pizza if you wanna get technical on me.

Yes, it's true, I've been stalking this place for a while now but it's out of my way so I haven't been able to try it. After running some errands, I realized I wasn't too far, so I pulled it up on my GPS and was only 8 minutes away. I ordered one traditional pepperoni slice so my review isn't as in depth or well rounded as the others but OH MY GOD. My slice was huge and cooked perfectly; thin, NY style with a crunchy, deliciously browned bottom. I admit, I usually massacre my pizza, I blot the grease off, dissect all the toppings, remove the sauce, then return the toppings, yes I know. I'm messed up. But none of this was necessary with this slice. The cheese was bubbly and evenly distributed, the amount of sauce was just perfect, and my pepperonis plentiful and were even on my crust. To be honest, I could've ordered 2 more slices and polished them off...they were that good. I will be looking for a reason to be in the area again in the near future to try more of what they have to offer.

My husband and I had lunch here today and this place is delicious. This is by far the best pizza and breadsticks we have ever had. My husband is not a fan of crust and usually dips it in ranch but said its what made it great and no ranch was needed. Lol. He usually eats the pizza folded but didn't since he didn't want to ruin the goodness of this pizza. We are planning on eating the leftovers tonight since it was sooooo good. :D. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Ok, this place is good enough for what it is. A thin crust pizza joint, but the best is still NYC Pizza in Troy. 112 has the same poofy crust as Brooklyn Pizza in Birmingham. The crust at 112 isn't firm though it's falling while you eat it. Where as NYC is the king of crusts. Plus when it came out of the kitchen it wasn't hot either. Didn't ask so don't know if its an issue with the oven or just shoddy service. Either way it isn't for me. May try again in the future but not the near future.

If you're into NY style pizza then this is the place to go in the Rochester/Troy area. The texture of the doh is awesome, and its what you should expect for a $12 small Bugsy Siegel pizza. Pizzeria Bistro has its own signature recipes to choose from; you can also make your own pizza from a choice of toppings. The place is small, and they are busy. I've seen people walk in and walk out because of the 1 hour plus wait for a takeout pizza. The clerk mentioned that they put priority on the people in the dining area, so it's good news if that's your plan; otherwise place your order well in advance during lunch and dinner hours. Be aware that some of its pizzas come without sauce. The clerk was nice enough to mention it, and added some sauce on our request. Super cool owner and staff. We will frequent this place.

One of my favorite pizzas. The people here really care about how they make their pizza; there is passion as well as creativity. My boyfriend and I have gone here many times, and have never had a bad pizza. The customer service is also splendid. I like to have the cheesy bread (delicious and different than most pizza places, crunchy with mozzarella on the inside), and the Corrington without meat (truffle oil and basil). A wonderful pizzeria that I recommend to everyone! The layout of the restaurant is also very cool, and the chalk art/menu is a nice addition.

I was in the area of Pizzeria Bistro at around lunch time so I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad that I did. The pizza they serve is the New York style thin, chewy crust. I ordered a pepperoni slice and it was huge. It did cost almost $3 for a slice, but 1 slice is more than enough for me. The crust was perfect for folding so that the slice was easy to handle. The sauce was flavorful with the right amount of herbs. I ordered my slice to go, but they do have a small dining room if you want to eat in. I was there at lunchtime, but there was only 1 table in the restaurant besides me. My 1 complaint was that it was a little warm in the restaurant. They may want to check on the a/c. The menu also has pasta and salads on it, so I will go back to give those a try - or maybe I will just stick with the pizza. Either way I will be back.

I love the NY-style choice because there aren't any other NY-style pizza places (that I'm aware of) locally. The flavors are unique and aren't too overbearing, the ingredients light and delicious. The garlic cheese bread is also flavorful and yummy, but order only as much as you think you'll eat, because it loses its flavor when I try to reheat it (microwave and oven). The staff is always friendly, and this is definitely my go-to pizza joint!

I finally made it over this way to check out the yelp famous 112 Pizzeria. I called ahead and picked up a small Corrington on my drive home. Even though I had a bit of a drive until I could enjoy the pizza it was still hot and delicious. The Corrington is topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, fresh basil and truffle oil. It was the perfect blend of ingredients. Truffle oil can be overpowering when used too much but on the pie it added just a hint of flavor and they didn't overdo it. The crust was cooked perfectly and the fresh basil was very flavorful. I hear the Detroiter is great as are the cheesy breadsticks and the chocolate cookie dessert, however I didn't have a chance to try those on this visit. I will definitely be back again in the future to check out their other yummy pizzas.

Dough. Cheese. Tomato sauce. The basic constituents of a pizza. But what if I told you that omitting the tomato sauce to the prosciutto arugula pizza would yield probably the most bombastic pizza within a 5 mile radius to Rochester Hills (yeah that sounds pathetic but there are a shit ton of pizza places around here !!). Pizzas from 112 are, like, a 1/15 rare find. Wood fired pizza crusts don't normally stay good 12 hours after they come out from the oven, but I often find myself hovering over cardboard boxes at 2am stuffing my face silly. Also the fact that 112 uses fresh ingredients from the Eastern Market makes me happy !!!

I had been wanting to go here for awhile based on the pictures and reviews. We went and got a 12" St. Aubin pizza with their cheesy breadsticks...all of it was great! Loved the added touch that they get their ingredients from Eastern Market. The breadsticks are filled with cheese and are oh-so good and drenched in butter. Dip it in the ranch they give you - you won't regret it! I will be back on a regular basis!

I was worried when I moved around here that I would get stuck with pizza chains around me, then I tried 112. My fiancé always mentioned it was good, then we finally got an order there. When the employee over heard me say that if just get a slice of cheese since I don't eat meats, he offered to cut the pizza in half so I can have what I like and the meats won't cook into my side... You have no idea what that did for me. I forgot what it was called but it had basil, artichoke and a few more things on it. I also got a salad that literally tasted like I just picked everything out of my garden. Their ingredients are brought from the Eastern market in Detroit, so not only is everything super fresh and tasty, you're supporting small/local businesses!

Very good pizza. Perhaps the best I've ever had, but I'm not a big pizza connoisseur. I've been to Antico's pizza in Atlanta and that is known for having true Italian pizza, but this place has more of the flavors that I'm looking for. I got half of a blt pizza and half of a supreme pizza with a side of the cheesy bread. The total came out to be just over $20. Considering how much food we got and the quality of it, the bill was cheap. The blt pizza was definitely the favorite of the night. The supreme was good too, but shadowed by the blt. The cheesy bread was nice too, but we could have done without it. We ended up bringing half of the cheesy bread home and half of the entire pizza.

This pizzeria is Detroit's answer to NY Style pizza, and they DID NOT forget the importance of flavor! 112 offers your standard cheese or pepperoni pizza, however they also have a great menu of original recipes for pizzas, as well as salads and a few pastas. The pizza is so good, that is the only item on the menu I've ordered...besides their AMAZING breadsticks. My office is a mile from this restaurant, and several of my colleagues RAVE about 112's breadsticks. It's a large cheese calzone covered in garlic, butter & parmesan cheese, cut up into breadsticks, oozing with mozzarella cheese inside and more mouthwatering garlic, butter & parmesan cheese inside! Paired with their simple sweet marinara, that could be an entire dinner for me! The restaurant is on the small side, since it's in a plaza. But do NOT let this deter you from going - the food is worth it!

We got two pizzas because we'd never been there, two pizzas is about right for 3 people. Very small, seems like a lot of carryout. New york style pizza in Michigan! For those of you who don't know what NY style pizza is, it is a thin and crispy crust that you can fold in half and eat! Really neat looking place in the same plaza as the super walmart. Menu is written on a chalkboard. Seating is limited. Sadly, they do not deliver :( I always like to drop by and get a slice of the day for around 3 dollars or so. The slice of the day varies, but I have never had a bad one! 1 slice usually fills me, 2 slices if I'm starving. Happy yelping!

Wanting pizza that wasn't Buddy's for once (sorry), my main man (she's not really a man) and I went here. While I didn't think the pictures of the pizza looked appetizing, the rating's high for 112 like f'real. We got a large (18") Bugsy Siegel pizza, cheesy breadsticks, and a house salad each. Well, it was sort of only excellent. While I don't mind that they lightly top their pizzas, it kind of annoys me that they say it on their menu and still charge a dollar per for a small and two dollars per for a large. The house salad was basically a Greek salad, save the beets (thank God) and came with a house made dressing that was semi-ridiculous. The breadsticks were stuffed with cheese and also kind of insane. I didn't know they'd be stuffed, so that basically made my day. Another great touch to 112, in my opinion, is their soundtrack. Loads of classic rock, and really Beatles heavy -- unless it varies by day and time. If that's the case, then it's loads of classic rock and really Beatles heavy on Friday afternoons between 2 and 3pm. 112 makes the best thin crust/New York/whatever style pizza I've had, I think -- unless Motor City Brewing Works is in the same category. I'd like to try their pasta at some point, but I doubt I ever actually will, just because any time I come here it'll be because I want pizza. But seriously, buy the hell out of the breadsticks and the salad and the pizza and the all of it. If you're disappointed in it... well... I'm disappointed in you.

This place isn't half bad. I finally made it in a few times, and so far so good. I've heard lots of good things about 112 Bistro and after trying it, I kind of liked it. Not my favorite place, but good none the less. The place is small with a fair amount of seating. I love the menu chalkboard because A) it's cute and B) they have a good selection of stuff. I've been coming here mostly because they sell single slices of pizza and it's close to where I go shopping on the weekends. So far I've had the peperoni and a Detroit style slice. It comes with a drink and both times it was under $5! Pizza hit the spot, but it's to thin for my taste. I like hearty pizza like Buddy's, not the thin NY style, and to my knowledge they only serve NY style. Service here is friendly and quick, and I do like coming here from time to time. Not on my short list of favorites, but still good none the less. Will probably return in the future as long as I'm in the area.

Last night my mister was dying for a good thin crust pizza like he used to get back home (NJ/NY) and as soon as I saw Ron C. 5 star review (each update he did was 5 so I knew it had to be good) I knew we had to try it! Anyways, we picked up a pie he literally ate the entire large pizza in one sitting by himself lol he said it's the best pizza he's ever had in MI and competitive with NY pizza! Unfortunately I didn't have any but we've tried numerous pizza places and they've been good but never once did I see a reaction like this! I was impressed with the sausage (he got half cheese and half sausage) and I've never seen sausage as a little patty like that before. Whenever I order sausage anywhere it's always crumbles so that was neat :) I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good thin crust pizza! ****edit!**** I've since eaten here numerous times and totally love their pizza! Really puts supinos to shame and the owners are so kind! Embarrassing that they know us by name now lol

I'm super picky about my thin crust pizza! I grew up in Far Rockaway and Bensonhurst NY and love me some thin crust! The staff is super friendly. I asked if they have beer or wine for sale and the answer is no. But, the really nice thing is that they directed me to two local places to score some. (Nice) They even said I had time while I waited for my pizza. (Score) When I returned my pizza was ready in about five minutes. I rushed it back to my hotel room and devoured it. The crust was super thin, the sauce plentiful, and the toppings perfect! So good!

Once Again! I was out on the Clinton River Bike Path on 6-25-14 . but had a hidden agenda. I figured if I pedaled the 7.2 miles to 112 Pizzeria Bistro I'd treat myself to just "A Slice" Well I did & it was 1:30 after the lunch crush. The always charming KT welcomed me & a fine young man took my order I inquired " What is the slice of the day today" The Detroiter !! pepperoni, Italian sausage, spinach, roasted garlic and red onion Yes Please! One of two places for pizza that I can't get enough of. I didn't realize how big of a fan of New York style pizza I was until I happened into this places little over a year ago. I've ordered from here well over 20 times since and have never been disappointed. It's a bit more expensive than the typical pie but well worth the extra.

This place has great pizza. We have learned to just trust the cooks at this place and we now just order whatever the Pizza of the day special is, sometimes it sounds a little odd but trust me they know what they're doing. The pizza here is thin and delicious. I would rank it up there with "tomatoes a pizza", " Tivoli" and "supino's". So depending on where I'm at I would choose one of those 4 for thin pizza. If you want thick square pizza go to Buddy's. It's fantastic too.

Yelp said it was good,,so here I am 12$ for the Bugsy Siegel, (17.50$lg) 4 1/2 if I could. garlic,moz,havarti,ham,cherry peppers,n basil sounds interesting. One of there 12 specialty pizzas, pizza and 3 pasta dishes a salad and cheesy bread that's all, so that's what u come here for,,, so how was it? Smells great,nice thin crust and for me, I love the strips of ham and the flavor of the toppings together, nice fat slices very filling can't say to much bad, except wish there was a small size, maby for 7$ I would be all over that, for lunch. I had been thinking about going here for pizza for probably 6 months based on the reviews I read on Yelp. We finally had lunch there a few days ago and I believe we have found the best pizzeria in my experience (lots of experience with lots of pizza)...and it's only three miles from home! For the last several days my wife (not really a big pizza fan) and I can't stop saying "that was a really great pizza" to each other. We couldn't decide so we went with a half-n-half St. Aubin and Selective Dan. Very creative and different yet it felt traditional as well. And it had great chewy crust as well! We will definitely be back to try more of the pizza menu items (in fact probably within the next week). And when we run out of pizza choices we'll start on the pasta! Really great food, service, and overall experience. Now I know why they are rated so highly!

How have I not written a review for the BEST pizza place in all the land?! Not sure, so here it goes. If you love thin crust pizza with high quality gourmet ingredients, then this is for you. The crust is salty, chewy and crispy. A magical combination. They have tons of specialty ingredients like prosciutto, chèvre, arugula, artichokes, fresh mozzarella and truffle oil. My personal favorite pizza is the Selective Dan. This pie is garlic, regular and fresh mozzarella, prosciutto(omitted for me), cherry tomato and arugula. What's not to love?! I promise, give this place a shot. If you think Supinos is good, prepare to be blown away! TRUST ME!

Choose from ready made slices pepperoni, cheese, speciality. Order your own pizza build it how you want it or order a pizza off the menu. There is no possible way you can be disappointed ordering a pizza here no matter what toppings you choose. It is an absolute must to order a slice of their specialty pizza. They do change it on a daily basis but I've never been disappointed. They use goat cheese, garlic, peppers, etc. on a lot of their specialty pizzas it makes a difference in a very delicious way! All their slices are huge! Worth the few dollars per slice during lunch! Easily some of the best pizza I've ever had!

Favorite pizza place in Michigan. Always have pizzas ready so they'll get your slice out pretty quickly. The pizza is a nice big slice, thin, awesome flavor, fresh. Really friendly service. Nice environment, the menu is unique and easy to understand. The whole place is clean and has a lot of tables to sit at, I usually don't have any trouble getting a seat. They have the classic cheese and pepperoni as well as a lot of other combinations. The slice of the day is always pretty interesting and is really fun to get when you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new. Kind of wish they delivered but it's always worth the drive. I go to college in Ann Arbor now but every time I'm back home (in Troy), I drive up to 112 :) Honestly can't think of anything I don't like about the place. Everyone just has to go try it.

I travel around the country a lot - and this is very good pizza! It is one of my favorite in the Rochester Area (along with Georgios and Fresco). You have to like thin crust pizza. And it is pretty thin - almost too much so, but that is a personal preference. Their crust and sauce is very good. You can tell that the ingredients for the toppings are much better quality than most pizza places. They also make their own pasta! Which is good too. Give them a chance and try them out!

I can't get enough of 112. It is consistently done perfectly, is absolutely delicious, and the worker's and owner are awesome. I want to tell a couple stories from 112 that may not seem like a big deal to some, but to me, really show great customer service and an owner that cares. #1--My wife and I dined in one day and were getting ready to leave. I went up to the fountain drink dispenser to grab a pop to go. The syrup had run out, so I let the owner know that it was out (he was the nearest person). Rather than making me wait, even though it's like a 2-3 minute switch out, he saw that we were getting ready to leave, he grabbed a bottled pop from the cooler and gave it to us for free so we didn't have to wait for it to be switched. #2--Get ready, this story may take a while. I usually grab Pizza to go, even when I dine in, so I can eat it for a couple days (off topic, but if you are reading this and will have leftover pizza, I found the best oven temp is preheat to 350 degrees and pull out as soon as you hear the sizzle of the cheese, any longer and the dough will dry out and get extremely hard). Anyway, I get my pizza without parmesan cheese on top, and when I get a pizza to go, I get it uncut so that the cheese and grease doesn't get under the slices and make the dough soggy when reheating. I didn't check the pizza (my fault) before I left because it had never been wrong before and I had been there many many times. When I got home, I opened the box to find it was cut and there was parmesan on it, bummer. I live about 40 minutes away, so taking it back was not an option, so I called and let them know what happened. I'm not sure who I spoke to initially, but she said I could either grab a new one right then or next time I come in. With it being an hour and 20 minute round trip I obviously chose to grab it next time. No more than 5 minutes later, the owner (Jim) called back and apologized for the error and explained that it was an unfortunate situation caused by routine, which I understood. He went on to explain that I could get any pizza with anything I wanted on it the next time and even offered to refund my payment (which I declined) and apologized again for the error. These stories shows that Jim genuinely cares about his customers and will do whatever it takes to make sure they have a good experience.

You won't be disappointed with anything you order off their menu. Management is pretty cool too. Gave me a free slice and a drink because I waited a little longer then usually for my pizza, but it was during the lunch rush and of course they were selling out because it's that good.
