Visited this wonderful breakfast spot while on vacation and enjoyed a build your own omelet of artichoke spinach and Swiss cheese, service was attentive and the omelet was delicious I will definitely try to visit this gem before I leave the area

A little bit modern for my taste, but the hippie hash is fantastic and they know how to poach an egg. Family favorite for Sunday brunch. Friendly staff

Pretty tasty and inexpensive place to feed a crew. Way better than Denny's. I highly recommend the East Egg Special or the Biscuits and Gravy. Just make sure to get some hashbrowns too! The one downside is that a side of bacon is pretty spendy! I've been here twice and been happy with the food, service is a little slow but they're really busy most mornings...

Fresh veggies omelet was great, hash browns generic but pancake delicious. Colorful casual decor, nice employees. Low prices and good serving sizes.

Love the food. Disappointed that they are not bbc.co open at 7:30 on a Saturday morning especially being a breakfast place.

We stopped on a Sunday just before closing time. But they were nice and seated us with a smile. I had a mushroom swiss burger with steak fries. Very tasty. My wife had the ham benedict with a small side of granola. She said it was very good. This is a newer restaurant with an extensive menu of breakfast and lunch items. Plenty if parking out the front door. I would stop again when in the area. I'd like to give this place three and a half stars, but instead rounded up.

Awesome...love this place for breakfast! Crab Benedict is my go to here. It's eggs Benedict with hand made crabby paddies!

Mediocre diner fare, decent coffee. I ordered an omelette with hash browns and a side of French toast. Omelette was standard issue and hash browns were dry. No better than Denny's. French toast was just cinnamon bread but nothing special and fake maple syrup. Husband had corn beef and eggs. Was ok. Jam for toast was really good. All in all not impressed

There are three breakfast choices in Richland and I would say this is my favorite of the three. I usually order eggs, toast and potatoes, which is pretty hard to screw up. The service is moderate. The prices are fair. I did eat lunch on one occasion and was unhappy with the Cream of Mushroom soup. It tasted as if it was from a process plant. I was only able to eat a few spoonfuls. The place is clean and I really enjoy the funky store next door.

Favorite place to go on the weekends! Delicious poached eggs. The omelets are a fab choice too :)

Tried this for the first time this summer and its become our go to place. Love it! So many excellent choices on the menu. The food is great and the prices ridiculously reasonable. We've not had lunch there but had several breakfasts. Everything is so fresh tasting. Their breakfast potatoes are delish. I love the biscuits and gravy. Husband loves the grits. Oh, their raisin bread is fantastic. Good coffee and good service. We actually stay closer to Frona's (which we love too) but we became addicted to East Egg.

We've eaten breakfast here three or four times because it's closer to us than the Portage location - which we have been to many, many times. We figure we've given the Richland location enough 'shots' to get it together. I can't help but compare the two - doesn't even come close. The food is not up to par compared to the Portage location. I order my traditional benedict with the eggs completely done and Portage gets it right every time, and uses a thin sliced ham. Richland gets it wrong every time and uses a thick hunk of ham. The staff in Richland is so-so, not unfriendly but not very friendly either. At first we thought maybe it was a training issue but there's been no change. We won't be back to the Richland location.

Just as great as the location I'm more familiar with, the East Egg across from WMU's campus. Get the tater tots instead of fries if you order one of the lunch entrees, they are SO GOOD! Service was quite friendly and nice, even though we came in so close to closing on a Saturday.

Everything on the menu is good. Best corned beef hash around.

If you don't mind loud country station on top of your conversation (dj patter and advertisements galore) you'll do ok here. Bright Clean and noisy with food on the ordinary side - e.g. fruit cup in June had no local fruit though in local markets lots of blueberries and strawberries, Coffee creamer only, you have to ask for real dairy for your coffee. But it's one of the only games in town....

Totally disappointed in a place I had high hopes for! Food was alright. Would have been great if the service wasn't so horrible! We waited 18 minutes just for someone to come to our table (might I add we were dining with 2 kids under 2!). The wait wasn't because they were busy, I'd hate to see the service then! The sign said wait to be seated- they told us to "go anywhere," then we had to get our own high chair & menus! We were in there over 40 minutes before our food came... NOT ok with an 18 month old or her mom! No apologies from the staff, they seemed as oblivious when we were leaving as when we got there! Avoid with kids at all costs. First, and last time customer! :(
