My family and I have been coming here since the early 90's. The food has always been very good. In the last six months the food and service has gone down hill fast. Three out of the last four times they have managed to screw up something in our order and the grinders are dryer than the desert sands. My daughter asked for no tomatoes and extra cheese on her grinder and they loaded it up with tomatoes and gave her no cheese. How does that happen? Especially when it was ordered on a slow night. When I call to let them know about the mistakes they become very defensive and slightly rude about it. Replying, "well are you sure that you ordered correctly?" What ever happened to "the customer is always right"? Unfortunately this will be my last time ordering from them. Twenty plus year customers don't deserve this. Great food has turned to less than average. There are plenty of other great sandwich places in town, why do I have to settle for this?

Our favorite grinders are at Mancinos. Italian grinder=dancing taste buds. The pizza is amazing too. This is a locals favorite, a place where we go just on a weekend, during a shopping trip, after a game, or when we want to get the family all in one place. And with Bella's Creamery right next door, it's the perfect combo. We've been going to Mancinos since it first opened & are never disappointed. Now that we've grown & moved away, we frequent here on our visits home, and our kids love it just as much as we do.

Small simple place, but always seems crowded. They are almost always running good specials. Cheesy bread is seasoned well and tastes great.

Best grinder in the world. The Italian grinder is a must anytime we are home. Usually I get two one immediately eaten the other makes the best breakfast ever.

Love Mancinos. Don't et this place confused with the "Samuel mancinos" in Mattawan. They are not the same!

Gosh, this food is good! My favorite is the Italian Grinder. Even the small one is more than I can eat, and everyone is so friendly here. Also, they now have the Bella's Creamery right next door for a fantastic ice cream fantasy dessert!

This is my favourite place to get grinders, hands down. They have so many choices and I have yet to be disappointed. I have not yet tried their pizza, but it's also a big seller from what I see from other customers. This restaurant can be a little chilly, but the employees' kindness should help warm your spirits. I do caution that it is a popular place, especially for Sunday lunch, so it can get a little crowded. However, once you're done with your meal, Bella Creamery is right next door to satisfy your sweet tooth. Overall great food and proximity to dessert.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
