Perfect place for brunch. Their food is good and the atmosphere is cozy and friendly. It's an easy place to become a regular at.

Went here on a recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it. I had a delightful country fried steak with quite delicious gravy on the side. One of my companions was super impressed with The Lump. The staff/owners were super friendly and we felt welcome even on our first visit. The place is very small, though - we got the last available table and people who arrived after us were waiting, so plan ahead. I wouldn't really recommend going here with more than 4 people. And it's a bit pricey for breakfast food, but the quality and portions were commensurate with the prices. I'll definitely be going back.

I know I'm going to throw the average star rating off by giving them a 3 star, but I have to be honest. For a local joint that's only open during breakfast and lunch, I'm very happy to see that they're super busy, especially when there are many other breakfast spots any of the locals and visitors can go to. But, I guess I came on the wrong day because the 4 of us had to wait for a table. That's not too big of a deal, but that also affected the service we received. The owners were extremely friendly and (relatively) attentive. My coffee was never empty, but we kept having to ask for more water. And since we came at a time when there happened to be a couple of big tables that just sat down, we waited quite a long time for our food. I had the Country Fried Steak with home fries. The home fries were cooked to a golden brown, and the Country Fried Steak had a pretty healthy layer of coating that's not overly salty or overwhelmingly thick. The gravy had a good consistency (not pasty or watery) and also not overly salty even with the pieces of sausage in it. Be sure to come with cash. Although it's not a Cash Only spot, they do encourage it over paying with credit card (due to the charges). Maybe we'll make another attempt after the summer is over when most visitors are gone, until then, I think we'll stick with other places for breakfast.

Absolutely amazing!! Love everything on the menu!! Try the omelets!! They are great!! And the pancakes are huge and delicious!! Love the chicken wrap also!! And they have the BEST ranch!! Very family friendly, small and quaint with excellent service!! My families favorite place to eat lunch or breakfast!!!

This is a cute little place and has a homey and inviting atmosphere. The staff here is very friendly. I notice a general regard for every customer from all of the staff. Our waitress, Sarah, also took the time to speak to each of her customers on a personal level even when the restaurant was nearly filled to capacity. The menu has a standard list of breakfast and lunch items. There are a couple of popular unique items that appeal to meat lovers. I don't fault smaller local establishments for maintaining the staples rather than diversifying into items that simply don't sell to their target demographic. I had a veggie omelette. It was tasty and best of all not too oily. The hash browns were also cooked just the way I like them. My son had a ham and cheese omelette and really enjoyed it. If you're looking for a friendly little spot where you'll be greeted with a smile and a good plate of food then I definitely recommend stopping in at the Daily Grind.

Finally had a chance to grab a late breakfast here this morning. The coffee was spot on, service amazing and the food cooked to perfection. The best part??? Very reasonable prices. If you're looking for a clean breakfast joint with ambiance and a solid vibe, coupled with great tasting food, make this your goto breakfast spot. And order the Sportsman, it will make any day better with smoky bacon and frisbee size sausage patty.

This is a great place to eat. Small place with limited seating but the cooks do a great job and it's very reasonably priced.

This place is awesome... Not sure how I have never heard of or about this place but it is fantastic. I ordered a breakfast sandwhich and was blown away when i got it. Now I am a big breakfast sandwhich guy and have had them from all over. This one i ordered with sausage and let me tell you.. The sausage patty was homeade and amazing.. It's the size of a burger paddy which was great and the entire thing was just fantastic.. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu... especially the bisquits and gravy.. that looked incredible.

Amazing food and attentive service. New favorite breakfast restaurant. Dining room is small so you might have to wait a few minutes to be seated but food is definitely worth the wait.

Excellent breakfast and coffee, and we love their egg salad sandwiches and seasoned fries for lunch. Everyone is friendly, service is quick, and my daughter gets chocolate chips special from the owner. We've frequented this place through several incarnations over the past 10 years, and the current setup is the best. I especially appreciate the homemade bread and locally sourced meat. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that I don't like the TV, but those seem to be everywhere nowadays.

Great omlets and hashbrowns! The waitresses are very friendly and the owner/cook will do what he can to accomodate your cravings! I'm sure the rest of the food is great too, but I can't stop getting the omlets!
