I have had good experiences at this location. They do a nice job taking the order, packing things up in a timely manner and they get the order correct. The soup is very good. The favorite, of course, is the chicken pot pie soup, but really like the lobster bisque. It is very creamy and flavorful! I do love the concept of a good bowl of soup and they still deliver. The only downside is that they are a bit pricey, but they don't skimp on ingredients either.

Yes Zoup for me! I had the chicken rotini. It was really succulent and rich in flavor. I love dipping my bread into the tasty broth and let it soak up the flavor. My friend, the infamous Famus Dave (yes, that's how he spells it) had the lobster bisque. It was rich and salty just like it should be. Purely fabulous. I had good luck this day.....when he went to get some more soft drinks, I took my spoon and had a few bites out of his soup. OMG, there was gloriously huge chunks of lobster on the spoon each time. Totally ordering this next time. The staff was very well knowledged on the product and helpful. They were also a nice staff, very fun and positive, each and every one of them. A couple of tables away were some girls, so I went to check them out because I'm always Down 2 Clown, but I didn't really check them out like I intended, my mind was focused on their glorious sandwiches. Next time, I'm definitely getting a sandwich and the lobster bisque. This place makes good looking stuff, the soup, great tasting, and the help.....flawless.

Horrible customer service, sandwich was cold in the middle. Over priced for frozen soup warmed up. Angry bitter staff

I couldn't wait to try the soup in this neat little restaurant. They offer about 15 varieties, many low fat and gluten free, and encourage you to sample as many as you want. I quickly decided on the summer vegetable, which was really yummy. They also offer a large variety of sandwiches, and what looked like awesome cookies (I sadly passed). Wish we had this place in Cincinnati!

Great soup and sandwich, but a little pricey. Friendly counter help. They have some goof combo deals, but they are hard to identify with all the variety on the soup and sandwich board. They also have good looking salads on the menu. I may be back,... with a coupon. 3 stars for now.

Finally had an opportunity to stop by Zoup today! :) I used to eat Zoup 2 times a week when their Dearborn location was still open. They closed a few years back & I've had withdrawals ever since. My favorite has always been their Chicken Pot Pie, so I got a XL order. The CPP never fails to satisfy!! ....And it didn't this time either!!! Hot, Fresh & Filling... I also tried the Southwest Turkey Ciabatta, which had sliced turkey, pepper jack cheese, tomato & chipotle mayo. It was fresh & hot, but it was quite plain and I think needs alot of work... Zoup is not cheap, their soup lives up to it, but their sandwich didn't... YMMV

The lady at the register coughed into and wiped her nose with her bare hand before reaching into the bread basket for my French bread. No gloves. Way too grossed out to ever return.

If you come during lunch time, expect a line. This place is great for a nice cold day. I had the tomato spinach and brown rice soup with the veggie terranean sandwich. It was so delicious and filling!

Zoup has sandwiches and salads of the Panera variety (think paninis and wraps), but their focus is on soups. They always have a wide variety and samples of all the different batches on offer are free for the asking. Any given day you will find 12 of a rotating bunch of about 30 - 40 different soups offered (check the website to see what is on tap today). Choices always include vegetarian, low-fat, spicy and dairy-free options, so most everyone can find something up their alley. At first glance, the prices seem a little high for each portion size of soup (there are 4 choices), but each time I have been here, the smaller sizes have seemed bigger than I expected once I actually dig in. Guess the soups are more filling than I expect. You might want to avoid the temptation to go for the cup "for just a dollar more". I am a fan of soups in general, and find the choices of soups here to be greater than other soup and sandwich places. The quality and taste of the soups are about the same as those other places, and the same can be said of the sandwiches. I prefer Panera's (and a few other similar places') salads better, however. But, if you are in the mood for soup, Zoup is a good bet. It doesn't even have to be a trademark Michigan winter day - I just noticed today for the first time that they had two chilled soups as well.

Stopped in here for lunch while I was back home & it was really good! I had the 7 bean soup & the 4 cheese panini. If you get half a sandwich and a side soup it is actually a good amount of food and they give you extra bread to dunk in your soup. They have a lot of vegetarian options as well as dairy free. The staff was friendly & you can sample any soup you like before committing to one. Great place for a quick lunch in the winter with a lot of variety. I also had a taste of the crab bisque which was also pretty good.

Customer service: 5 stars! The employees were helpful, and offered me a sample of their soups before I tried them. They explained the different combo options well too. Actual Food: 1 star The sandwich was cold, and was meant to be warm because it was toasted. The chicken in the sandwich was barely above fridge temperature as I hesitantly took a bite out of it. Thank God the soup was warm though. Value for money: Paid around $7.30 for a piece of bread, 8 oz soup, and a cold 1/2 sandwich. Not worth it. I'll go to Panera next time.
