They have been serving up the most delicious homemade soups and sandwiches since 1985. If you're looking for a classic deli, look no further. By far the best lunch spot in Plymouth!

I stopped by for lunch ordered their special sandwich, turkey avocado on a roll, and a cup of the Wisconsin cheese soup. Everything was delicious! Service was quick and polite. Prices were affordable too. I would recommend!

Maybe im biased as I grew up in town, but this is a great sandwich stop. Watch out for lunch hours as its tiny and crowded. The turkey ranch ciabbata and Hawaiian Club are my fave but the corned beef gets good reviews. Even at their busiest the staff was friendly and helpful. Today they were cranking out the corned beef (happy st patties day).

A classic local Deli. They're bread is fresh, the meat is good and they're pretty fast. I love the chili, but not so much the other soups. Its a bit more expensive than a deli like this should be, but worth the cost compared to the other chain sandwich shops in the area.

Delicious food! Had lunch here today - grilled corned beef with a cup of cheeseburger soup. The soup was amazing - very creamy and tasty. The sandwich was perfect - nice grilled bread with juicy meat and tangy coleslaw. 5 stars, it's now on my weekly rotation.

Excellent friendly service. Nice family owned local business. Fresh ingredients, homemade soups (chicken pot pie soup and turkey chili are favs), & excellent variety. Great daily specials (usually soup & a half sandwich). Generous portions served with coleslaw & a pickle!

Maybe it was the truncated hours. But I had expected Maya's to be a more upscale place. Expectations aside, this place is Ahmo's-esque but with friendlier people and better food ingredients. A good McDeli but still a McDeli. In my search for the best corned beef sandwich in Southeast Michigan, we can check another place off the contender's list.

I like the sandwiches alright at Maya's but not as much as everyone else in town seems to. I am picky. The bread is meh and you need good bread for a good sandwich. They are big to be sure but to me bigger does not always equal better. Definitely avoid the corned beef if you are a devotee, it lacks flavor and can be very dry sometimes but it works for people who fear fat. I think extra lean corned beef is rather sad myself but if it is your thing you will find it here. For myself I'd rather just skip corned beef altogether as most of the flavor is from the fat. Another thing to avoid is the soup, just nothing special. Bland. I liked the bagel dogs back in the day or a turkey reuben now in a pinch.

When I forget to bring lunch from home, I go through a tough battle - where to eat or what to eat for lunch. So, I consulted Yelp on where I should go for lunch. Maya's Deli is 10 minutes from the office so I decided to give it a try. The review Shannon and Jenny provided was great as well, so I was looking forward to the visit. When you walk in, to the right is the dining tables and to the left is where you form the line to order your food. There were couple of folks ahead of me. Since this was my first time going, I had to study the menu carefully and decided what I wanted to try. For some time now, I have been craving for Corned Beef Sandwich so I decided to go with Corned Beef Combo - which comes with cole slaw, swiss cheese and russian dressing with a pickle. It took about five minutes to get the food, I asked for a menu to take with me and left to return to the office. While I enjoyed the sandwich, my first experience at Maya's, I'll have to rate three stars. I know I'm spoiled by Zingerman's and Maize n' Blue in downtown Ann Arbor, but I went without any expectations. Next time I go, I'll try the hot corned beef sandwich. As far as the selection goes, they have plenty - home made soups, salads, subs, etc. If you are in downtown Plymouth area and craving for a sub, give this place a try.

Had the corn beef/pastrami combo with 1000 island dressing recommended by the ladies working and it was amazing. Will definitely be back. Service was great, quick and friendly. They came out to the small dining room and checked on our food to make sure we liked their recommendation. My wife got the same sandwich and loved it. My 3 year old son enjoyed his grilled cheese. Prices are affordable, $19 for 3 sandwiches, bag of chips, 2 drinks. Can't wait to try the chili next time.

This shop offers sandwiches, soups, salads and homemade side dishes, such as potato salad, rice pudding, pasta salad and mixed fruit during the summer. (Sometimes you can get cheesecake too!) The homemade soups are delicious! My favorites are Italian Wedding, Taco, and Stuffed Pepper. The vegetarian chili is awesome, as is the traditional and turkey varieties. The service is quick and friendly, and the sandwiches are the best I have had in Plymouth. The Turkey Ranch Ciabatta, and Tuna or Ham melts are my favorites, and I have had some pretty delicious salads as well (You must try the citrus salad, if only for the dressing!) They offer daily soup and sandwich specials, and seem to offer a new sandwich combination regularly. Order anything as it is on the menu and you won't be disappointed.

Awesome, super thick and savory sandwiches. Large selection of sandwiches to choose from.

Every sandwich I have EVER gotten here has been delish! Their corned beef with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut is totally terrific! Oh they also once had this special with turkey, pesto and swiss on a ciabatta bun...all I can say is WOW. Keep 'em coming Maya's...I'll be back for sure!
