Joe's is one of my father's pet places. It is a smallish well kept Plymouth secret I think. My fave part of Joe's is the deli counter. They have Boar's Head and Kowalski meats that are always fresh and sliced to order. They will make a sub or a sandwich for you in a flash, just as you like it. Joe's can also pack you up with plenty of meat and cheese to go to do it yourself if that is how you want to play it. They have a salad bar, and prepared fresh salads in the deli case. Joe's has decent chocolate chip cookies chock full of brown sugar and shortbreadish flavor scones. I heat mine up for fifteen seconds in the micro and its back to straight out of the oven taste. They also have some extra crusty Italian bread that you can get on the weekends that is just awesome. They carry some assorted pantry staples for convenience as well. basically it is an ideal place for a quick stop. My dad likes the specials. They have good meatballs and Italian sausage with peppers and onions and various little dishes they do as specials of the day. A lot of people get the pizzas but I am just not a huge pizza person myself. In the summer we get kielbasa and kowalski skin on dogs for grilling at my parent's place as they are consistently new in stock here. They do catering but I have never had call to get any myself. The seating area is in the middle of the store, little red check tableclothed tables. Crowds vary seated but they do a steady counter business. I have been coming in here on and off since they opened. The staff is super friendly and the wares consistently fresh and well prepared. Give em a whirl if you are in the area.

I've worked down the street for 14 years and never stopped in. How is that even possible? Then, once in, I'm shocked. It has a deli, a ready-made salad and hot food section (with lasagna, peppers and onions, etc), a sandwich shop, a dessert section, a salad bar. Crazy! And you can eat-in. My previous boss waved from the corner, hunkered down eating lunch. Once I saw him, I knew it would be alright (I see him at Three Brothers too, so he knows the good, non-chain, non-fast food places to eat). I ordered a Boar's Head corned beef sandwich on rye with mustard, a whole dill pickle and a bear claw. I took it to go because I didn't want for said-previous boss to see me eat enough food for 2 people. And, it was good. If you're in the area and Subway, Jimmy Johns and Panera aren't doing it for you that day, check out Joe's.

Joe's is my Tuesday stop. They have the best special in town: $1.99 gets you a large plate of penne pasta with meat sauce and garlic bread! I add a .45 milk and I am full for less than $2.50! Sometimes I go for the Tuesday veal Parmesan special, and then take home a large container of the penne pasta for $2.99 and have that for dinner. They have a refrigerated section that has homemade sauce ready to go, and they have several italian meals ready to heat like spaghetti and meatballs, veal parmesian, lasagna...and what I like is they have small serving sizes for sale that would feed 1 or 2 people for us empty nesters. It is great for lunch because you get your food so fast, I like the old fashioned red checkered tables and grocery. The bakery has a great selection of breads, my husband loves the rolls. They have a take home bake it yourself sheet pizza, and the deli has Boar's Head and Kowalski. You can pretty much have any sandwich you are craving made to order there while you wait and sit and eat it there or take it out. It is one of the best lunch deals going. Fresh cooked, homemade. They have a new frequent customer reward program, too.

Went there for the first time, and I was very impressed! If you're looking for a low-key place with awesome deli sandwiches and delicious baked goods, you've come to the right place. They have several breads, cheeses, and meats to choose from for sandwiches. You can customize with toppings/sauces. They don't have a great variety of sauces, but they have mayo, mustard, deli mustard, horseradish mayo, ect. Needless to say my sandwich was delicious, and they definitely don't skimp on the meat and cheese like how chains do. I didn't try anything from the hot food station, but they had some great looking pizza and pastas as well to choose from. Most people who came in ordered from the hot food, so it must be good! I also loved the staff. I was helped right away, and while my server was making my sandwich in the back, I was asked if I was helped a few times, which to me is great customer service. They were all very pleasant and smiling too.

And here I thought I was going to do an update. .. with all my years of going here, i never have a review? ! My review is only on the service and the bltc (yeah, it is a bacon lettuce and tomato. ... with Swiss cheese!)! In all my years of going to Joe's, i have never ordered anything else.... it is that good! It is a cute local place with character! It is small and welcoming with a fresh deli, red checkered table cloth, with fake flowers. .... you can't beat it. They have an array of fresh meats, cheeses, pizza, lasagna, garlic squares and daily specials. Everything looks fantastic but the bltc cannot be beat! Do yourself a favor and check them out! I love hometown gems....

OK, this place really rocks out the deli & lunchroom style servings! They have different entre's each day, and are available to eat there or take out. This is some hearty homestyle cooking! I've had the chicken cordon bleu, meatloaf, lasagne (YUM!), Pizza, "Popeye" - a spinach, cheese, roaster pepper, & garlic masterpiece, and variety of pizza rolls & calzones. I have yet to find anything that wasn't Delicious!!! They also have a bakery which puts out some seriously sweet & tasty morsels! My company has also used them pretty exclusively for special event catering & lunches for over 10 years, and we've never been disappointed! In fact they'll be doing another Thanksgiving day lunch for us in a few weeks! The only thing I would change is that the soup is never quite warm enough. Fix that and the world is your oyster Joe's!
