Firehouse Subs is in a great location. The facility is larger, very clean and well decorated. The Cheesesteak with Mushrooms and Cheese leaves a little to be desired. Not a lot of flavor and the cheese just disappears in the filling. We asked the manager about the cheese and he said that's how it is. They only have chips as a side, but they have a terrific Pop machine. The employees were friendly, but not really helpful as they all seemed inexperienced. I can go 3 stars and I'll be back... (Just not for Cheesesteak)

I've had 5 different types of subs here at this new Firehouse, and I've been impressed with all of them! Good quality ingredients and good flavor are their mainstay! They still need to work on their process and speed. It seems as if the ordering and production lines are laid out 180 degrees from how they should be in relation to the entrance/exit. This causes people waiting on orders to linger within the seating area many times. Additionally, their production process was very inefficient in the beginning, but they've since improved and teir "order fulfillment" went from a whopping 127 minutes to 6

So it's a solid sammie place. I had a hot sub, the New York steamer with hot pastrami and corned beef. It comes with melty provolone and an eye raising combo of mayo mustard and Italian dressing. Ummmm delicious. Shockingly delicious sauce combo. The meat worked too, especially for a non deli. The freebie pickle? Smelled and tasted really great. The meatball was making my dining partner happy. I am not a huge meatball sub fan (marinara makes everything soggy as hell) but this one makes me want to order one next time. Really good quality especially when compared to a Subway or the like. Not gourmet but a definite step up from average, at least on our two picks, which according to the staff member we chatted "are the best things here". Service was friendly. Things were made well but we weren't special ordering anything either. Fast enough and nothing to bitch about at all for us. I'd definitely give it another whirl. I'm with Joe V though, it's a 3.5 star.

Good quality subs for a chain. Well above a subway and personally liked it better then Quiznos. The medium is kinda on the smaller side especially for the price, but they have a very good bread and the ingredients seem to be good quality. I'll eat here again.

This place is addicting. I have tried close to every sub that they have and I have not been disappointed. I have even had a wonderful experience calling ahead and had the pleasure of having such wonderful help even when I forgot the name of the sub or had to take certain things on or off. Will keep coming back!

By the looks of the menu, the food seems pretty boring. I was actually surprised how good the food was here! The pastrami sub was delicious!!! The bun was warm, steamy and soft...which is more than I can say for other sub joints around Plymouth! I'll definately be back!

I'd go about 3.5 stars. Don't have a whole lot to base my experience on after one trip. Went in here the other night. The service was friendly. It was obvious that they haven't been open very long. One of the girls came around and explained the menu to us and made it clear that we could pretty much customize any sandwich that we wanted. I agree with the other Joe V. that the sandwiches were a little bland. In their defense, they offer a ton of different hot sauces that you can apply on your own accord, but hot sauce isn't something I normally eat on a sandwich, so I passed. This is going to sound ridiculous, but their soda machine is unreal. Maybe these things are old news, but I had never seen one. It's like a digital Coke machine. It has Mello Yellow Zero - and in different flavors. I'll probably come back just to use that again. Overall, I want to give this place another shot. I'm giving it 4 stars because the service was friendly, the place was clean, and they deserve the benefit of the doubt. I thought that the menu was a little repetitive, but the fact that you can customize a sandwich helps. I just feel like I'm being a high-maintenance customer if I do that. I want to walk into a place and say, "I want that." And then I want to get "that."

Stopped in for dinner at this location for the first time a couple of days ago. I ordered the medium Hook and Ladder and my wife had the Turkey Bacn Ranch. Service was quick and very polite. Got a lot of help from the staff as to how the menu is set up and what we order. Sandwiches came out pretty quickly but we were the only patrons in the store. Both of our sandwiches were very good. The medium size is pretty big and both had plenty of meat and fillings. Both had a nice combination of dressings that were flavorful. You can get chips, soup and cookies or brownies as sides. Prices are okay but our lunch for two with combos was $18. A little high for me. If you do not want fries or other sides these sandwiches are pretty good. I think this is a go to at least once lace in my book.

Not sure why people are giving such low ratings. Been here about 5 times and I get something different each time and they all are delicious. It's a sub shop but they are high quality, much better than subway and Quiznos and only a little bit more expensive. They are very filling and great service with knowledgable staff.

Just love this sub shop. We come to eat at least once every two weeks. The hook and ladder sub it's the best, the meat is so tasty and the sub bread they use is really good and fresh. Also tried the meatball sub which is also really good. The only thing I don't care for is the new modern fountain coke machine, the pop seems to be more full of syrup, the pop just tastes bad wish they had a regular fountain coke machine. We will definitely be back. Great subs!!!!

Nice and friendly service, subs were fresh. Wife had the hero and she liked it, I had the Italian but it wasn't very good. It didn't taste anything like an Italian sub at all. It was sweet and really just wasn't good. I will be back to give a different sub another shot.

Went to this place on my way home for lunch. Ordered 2 regular subs. Generally most of their subs are supposed to be hot, mine were not very hot. The #1 sub was ham and turkey, it was just ok. The Steak & cheese was horrible, it was Luke warm not hot and it was dry. I could not see or taste the cheese. I will not go back to this place for a sandwich/sub.

I'm giving it a four, because after the great service I got, I would feel guilty with anything less. Everything but my actual sandwich was great. The service was helpful and explained the menu and made suggestions, the pop machine is unreal (120 flavors), and it was clean and had a decent lunch crowd. My sandwich though did not meet my expectations. It got the new chicken salad sandwich on the menu. It does not resemble anything close to a chicken salad sandwich. It was like a coleslaw with some chicken cubes in it, and there wasn't much distinct flavor to it. I will say though that it was very neatly put together and the bun was nice-- way beyond what Subway could ever produce. I would go back and try something else because everything else was great, but if you like classic chicken salad, don't order it.

Food was good but there were too many employees on. I think there is poor management. The manager was mean to his employees. He was a total micromanager. I watched him tell this girl to move. I don't appreciate poor management. I enjoyed my lunch but if I come back and see unhappy employees and a miserable manager again, I will never return.

My daughter, granddaughter and I absolutely hated the food. Three people can't be wrong. The food had no flavor whatsoever. My first clue should have been when I walked in the door and saw about two dozen bottles of sauces on the counter (for customer use). That kind of speaks for itself. Sorry, but we hated it!
