Very disappointed in the food quality. Me and my wife tried a few things. We stopped in about 6 PM, 3 hours before close. The "pulled" pork... he pulled out what looked like a nice pork butt, pulled some meat out, and then pushed it as flat as he could. Needless to say, it was dry, smashed, flavorless, and shredded. Spicey Sausage - This was actually good. Good flavor, and it was hot. Brisket - when he put it down on the counter, it was coming apart at all points. It was clearly over cooked. I thought maybe they were going for chopped brisket, but this was more shredded or torn apart brisket. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't have a lot of flavor. Ribs - Over cooked, but taste wasn't bad. Mac & Cheese - this was good BBQ Beans - these were good as well Bread - I know, who complains about bread? It was hard and old though. They were out of their world famous Iced Tea (as they called it). There were no efforts to make more. The BBQ sauces were good, I had the original and sweet. Although be careful of the cups they have to put them in, you can't hold them because its too hot. There was really smoke flavor in any of this. The brisket had a trace of smoke ring, the ribs really had minimal to none. I guess this is another failed attempt to put a good BBQ place in this area. I hope the next one tries harder.

Did not realize this is a chain. I went to the Commerce Twsp store thinking it was a mom and pop place. Never again. Brisket was ok, cole slaw flavor-free and the mac and cheese is straight out of a pan of Stouffers.

I had the sliced beef sandwich and it was excellent. Had a sides of macaroni and cheese, potato salad , they were both super. Staff was friendly and eager to please. this is my second visit. this is some good barbecue. Plus free ice cream I repeat free ice cream.

I wanted to give it zero stars. I have tried this place on three different occasions, just to make sure I was not being a snob. But each time I order the brisket, it is always cold/luke warm, no real taste/flavor to the meat, and dry. Too expensive for what you get!

I came here not knowing it would be fast-food style bbq. That being said, it was still not great for that. The sides (mac & cheese and bbq beans) were somehow bland and terribly flavored at the same time. The roll was a little frozen dough piece that had been heated just enough to be cooked, then stiffened under a heat lamp. The ribs were tender, but didn't have much flavor, so I tried the "original bbq sauce", but that was basically vinegar and didn't make it better. They cost as much as Famous Dave's, but aren't even close in quality. Even the free soft serve was gritty! Do yourself a favor waste your money somewhere else. Second star because it was a clean place with good service, but that's probably because there were more staff than customers for a Saturday dinner service.

I went in there yesterday as kind of a spur of the moment thing. I had originally planned on going into the Chinese place next door, but wanted to give this place a try. There used to be another rib place in this plaza, but it wasn't very good and they went out of business. This place is a different story and I'm glad I decided to go in. Their ribs are fall off the bone tender and hickory smoked. You can smell it the moment you walk in the door. I ordered the rib plate which comes with a roll and choice of two sides. I got the barbecued baked beans and the macaroni and cheese. Both were very good. They also have free soft serve ice cream, but I was full after eating my meal, so I didn't try it. I was truly surprised how tender the ribs were. The place was quite crowded at lunch time. If you love ribs, you definitely need to give this place a visit. I will be back for sure.

My husband and I are addicted to this place! It's right on my way home, so I find myself picking up regularly. The brisket is what I get every time. The sides have all been delicious too. I have no complaints at all.

Way too expensive. 1/2 rack baby ribs $13 6 small bones ribs... No sides inc. sides 2.25 Mac cheese- bland creamy - not ooey gooey Coleslaw- semi bland a lil sweet tart Green beans w/ bacon eh... Ok Ribs were perfectly smoked and tender, lean Sauce yummy Definitely better than those places like chicken shack, but doesn't beat famous Dave's

Went back today for more carryout, the brisket was pretty dry, had to drench it in BBQ sauce to bring it back to life. The green beans were so soggy the wouldn't stay on a fork, the kids still like the Mac and cheese and my wife really liked the dill potatoe salad. I'm lowering them from 4 stars to 3 for the dry brisket and soggy beans. The counter help has improved though.

We tried this today for lunch. I have to be gluten free and the workers seemed ignorant about exactly what gluten was. I cannot eat buns or rolls so my sandwich contents were put directly on the paper covering the metal tray. As I cut my meats the paper ripped and tore. I ask their help with, which, if any of their bbq sauces were gluten free, they kind of looked dumbfounded , recommended their original, because the sweet sauce had sugar in it, (sugar is not gluten) then they told me all their ingredients were listed online, problem is, I was in their bbq joint, not on my pc. So I ate the food and am home now waiting to see what happens to my digestive tract. Probably will not return. I did think the cole slaw was good and I had the green beans w/ bacon and thought they were good.

Giving them a 3 is me being kind of generous. Staff is very nice . Its clean and the menu is easy. The food is served cafeteria style (which I like). I ordered the 3 meat plate with brisket, polish sausage and pulled pork. 1. The brisket was semi luke warm almost cold and was served crumbled up not sliced. The polish sausage was also served luke warm ( more towards the warm side ) But it was pretty good and the spices were just right. Now to the pulled pork, that was the best by far . Very juicy tender and flavorful. But also served luke warm (more warm than cold). Mac n cheese is creamy it wasnt great but wasnt bad. The waffle frys were your normal waffle frys. Prices were a little high but nothing crazy especially for that area. I really enjoyed the sauces (sweet, regular, hot and spicy) all really good. All in all its a decent place to get your bbq fix . But not award winning by any means.

First visit ever to a dickies BBQ. It will be my last. My wife and I stopped for lunch. The staff was nice and friendly, explained the menu, that was the good part. My wife ordered the road house salad , meat was so dry and cold it was like bacon bits you would buy at the store. I had the chicken breast, good flavor, but cold and dry. Thank goodness I had a lemonade to wash it down. Lastly, our order came to 25 bucks, insane price for the poor quality.

The food was awesome I ordered the pulled pork sandwich this time. The only thing I don't recommend is the fried onion tanglers they are very salty and very thin. We couldn't eat them at all. Its like they dipped them in a bowl of salt. We will be back but just for the meats or sandwiches. The potatoe caserole is very yummy, you can tell it's real potatoes they use for it.

Quite poor. I've eaten here a few times. The portion sizes are a joke, and the prices are too high. The ribs I ordered today were very salty. Yankee's don't know BBQ.

We love it here. In fact it's our favorite BBQ place. It's fast, and laid back. I don't understand the low ratings... We have always been happy and we are fussy. The food quality is excellent. Our favorites are the brisket and pulled pork. It reminds me of some first-rate places we tried down south. Some people mentioned not liking the brisket if it has smaller pieces, but when it falls apart like that is is deliciously tender. Maybe prices are a little high, but you get great flavor, real ingredients, and ice cream, and it's a good quality soft serve, very creamy. The fried sides are brought piping-hot to your table. Love those rings and okra. Potato salad and baked potato casserole are first-rate, too. You can order online for fast takeout, too, and we just grab some cones when we pick up. It's a great place for foodies and the family.

Yikesssss. My biggest issues with here are some of their menu choices. First off I was anticipating some beef ribs. This is supposed to be Texas BBQ right? What is Texas without beef ribs? I would kill for someone in this town to make decent beef ribs, seriously. Second issue was with the chicken, Italian marinated chicken at a BBQ place? Ummm seriously? Dickey what are you smoking? I mean beyond the meats. My last WTF had to do with the American singles on the sandwiches. Just no. Ok? Dry and crumbly seems to be the theme with the meat here. We tried brisket and pulled pork and both were just that. Sauces here are actually fairly good, trust me you will need them. The 'que itself is rather lacking. Not a lot of smoke flavor and I was not a fan of the texture obviously. The ribs were not terribly thrilling but at least they were neither dry or crumbly. A tad bit tough and a tad overdone but nothing that I was that upset with comparitively. My husband was not a fan of the bland mac and cheese side dish. I would have needed a lot of hot sauce to sample it so I took a pass. I trust when he doesn't like a mac and cheese dish though, the man generally likes any cheese product so when it is a miss to him I definitely would not be a fan. The baked beans were actually tasty as were the onion tanglers (hard to f up fried foods though really), the potato casserole dish was meh but inoffensive. The bread I had was also nothing to write home about. I actually would be interested in the sausages, turkey, ham and whatnot but really I am not running back anytime soon. It just feels a little half assed for a BBQ joint. Sorry.

Pretty good BBQ and fast! Really like their pulled pork, spicy cheddar sausage and mac n cheese. Great sauces also served warm! Only minor issue I have is I wish the food was served a little bit warmer.

Yum! We were craving BBQ and remembered we seen a sign in Plymouth. Good service, good food, great prices. I loved the brisket, sausage, and pulled pork. We tried four sides: Mac &Cheese- big noodles, loads of cheese! Gooey goodness! BBQ Beans- a bit spicy, then sweet Baked Potato Casserole- so delicious! Can taste bacon, chives, sour cream, butter- amazing! Coleslaw- creamy and crunch- perfect!! We will be back and will be bringing friends!

Currently sitting in Dickey's BBQ wishing that we would have just left. Half of our party isn't eating because they were out of almost everything on the menu- no pulled pork, no chicken, no turkey. Most ended up with kid's chicken nuggets, which were over fried, frozen Dino shaped nuggets. Disorganized mess. Won't be back.

I used to go to Dickey's in Plano, TX years ago, and then in Phoenix, AZ, and always liked it. I ordered the Green Beans, BBQ beans, and Jalapeno beans to go, for about 2 bucks each, and enjoyed all of them. I work a mile down the road, so it's great have access to quick hot food for lunch nearby. I've been trying to cut down my meat intake lately, so I can't comment on that, except to say that the other Dickey's I've been to in the past had great brisket and chicken breast, and I always enjoyed the spicy version of their BBQ sauce as well.

i had just tried this place the other day and considering how much bbq i eat and how much bbq i smoke at home i like to think a pretty good judge in this category so i ordered a pound of brisket a slab of ribs and some mac & slaw the ribs had a very nice thick dry rub and had the perfect amount of smokey flavor A+ the brisket was tender w/ some fat ribbons and a nice smokey bark some people put these guys in a Famous Dave category but i think hands down are way better i will eat here when i need a quick bbq fix till the day i die.

Third time here. It was a slow Monday evening and I'm not sure which was worse - the service or the food. The workers did not want to be there. They stood around talking, perhaps escape planning. Punch card is a joke: spend $24, get one punch. Or spend $5, get one punch. The brisket was cold and dry (old leftovers?), the ham tasted like it was from Easter. Last year. The fries were hot and freshly made, but so salty they were inedible. Mac n cheese cold and tasteless. And what's up with that nugget of a bun you get? I thought I never met a bun I didn't like, til here. The pickles were good! I'm done giving them chances.
