The atmosphere is friendly and down home. They have daily special which are not only tasty but reasonable as well. I enjoy the speed and quality of the food as well as the humorous atmosphere. Sundays they have a breakfast buffet that leaves me so full, I have to be rolled to my car. You can't go wrong!

I might have given them a fourth star but it always irritates me when a place doesn't give me a receipt. If I notice, I ask for one, but I didn't notice until much later I didn't have one. I went here for breakfast but didn't want a huge meal so I ordered one that just had two eggs and toast. I didn't need coffee since they provided that at the motel. The food was perfectly good. The ambiance wasn't real friendly, an important aspect to me, especially travelling alone. But if I got back to town I would eat here again I'm sure.

As a student at the neighboring high school, many students eat here during lunch. The staff is usually very friendly, but they are desperate and money hungry. One lunch time, my friends and I ordered our food, about half an hour later we still hadn't received our food. We decided to leave without paying, as why would we pay for something we didn't even get to see, let alone eat. The owner decided that it was the right thing to keep the rest of our friends at the restaurant, until we came back and got the food. They kept them until they were late for class, and the owner's wife threatened that she would "come after us" (three high school students), stormed out in a frenzy and came to our schools principal, emotionally stirred, crying, and blubbering. She reported that three of the students had "dined-n-dashed". She was mainly mad about the loss of money, but then she gave the rest of our friends free lunch(makes sense right?) ... So yeah... Kind of crazy.. I'm not going back there anymore.

Family owned and operated. Friendliest staff I have ever met. Best foods to try are the daily $5 specials (home cooking!), and the omelets. The omelets are out of this world fluffy and bursting with flavor.
