An amazing breakfast that is complimentary with the room. It's pretty unbelievable. Waffle station, pastries with scones to die for., fresh salmon, fresh fruit, omelet station, French toast, bacon... The views are amazing of Grand Traverse Bay. The wait staff was great too!! Can't wait to stay at the Inn again!

Food is high-quality, but if you're staying here, the lack of variety from day to day is disappointing. We've had the same server two days in a row, and he is absentminded - and often MIA - at best, albeit well-meaning (I think).

I had dinner and breakfast here. Both were excellent. Dinner: I started out with a bowl of mushroom bisque. It was just creamy enough without being too thick. Mushroom and vegetables were hearty, but not too big to overpower the bisque. I almost considering having another bowl for as an entree. My main meal was the cedar plank salmon. There was a thin layer of seasoning that was just crisp enough for the flaky salmon. Al dente risotto and asparagus complemented the salmon perfectly! Dessert- creme brulee topped with fresh blueberries and sliced strawberries. Not too sweet, done just right! Breakfast: I was the only person in the dining room on a cold Monday morning. Service was excellent! I got the breakfast skillet- hash browns, mixed vegetables, sausages with your choice of eggs (I got it over easy) with melted cheddar cheese. I admit it was a bit heavy for a workday morning, but it was so good! Again, excellent service. The server brought over a shot of fresh smoothie while I was waiting for my coffee. I have no complaints!

I am only able to rate breakfast because the only other meal I had was room service, which was good, but not in the restaurant. The free breakfast came with our room. Unbelievable! Waffle stations with prepoured waffle mix ready to go right into the waffle maker. 3 different kinds were available. Eggs to order, french toast, biscuits and gravy, fruit, bagles, cereal, sausage, bacon, breakfast potatoes. Did I mention it comes with the price of the room? The restaurant is right on the water, beautiful setting! What a way to start the day. And, the staff is wonderful!

Wonderful, friendly staff and best of all great food. The new Exective Chef Is Russell Miller recently from the famous Latitude, his menu is very good and he will try anything. It is a must when you visit the area. For breakfast try the Oatmeal Pancakes!!!

This restaurant along with the South American Grill across the hall had been on the comeback trail. Apparently they have changed chefs, management or both becuse it has fallen apart agin. Menu has been drastically reduced. Fries were cold. Fig dressing didn't seem to have ny figs. Butternut bisque was watery and very sweet. The service was very slow. The whole thing wasn't good. Look elsewhere.
