Just keep driving. Not sure how this place got 4 stars. I just had a half cooked flavorless omelet. Mediocre service. No WiFi. If your in the area in need of a quick breakfast or lunch try CJ's Cafe in Lake Orion, it's a thousand times better than this place. Also DK Burgers next door to Country Coney makes the best burgers in the business. There's really no reason for me to ever come back here.

The BF and I went here for brunch on Saturday. I'm very new to this area, so I'll probably be doing more than a few reviews as he gets me acquainted. :) It's a small little diner with a few bar seats and about 14 tables/booths. It was pretty packed when we got there at 12:30, but the waitress got us seated right away. As soon as I opened my menu, I was in love. #8 reads : Homemade corned beef hash!!! SQUEEEEEEE!!!!! For any of you that read my reviews on the regs, you KNOW that I think it should be fucking illegal to sell any kind of canned hash. Every time someone slaps that can, and the chunk of dogfood/hash goes THUNK, an angel cries. The awesome waitress agreed with me. I got my homemade hash and some eggs and an english muffin, which they will offer you as an alt to toast!! Yay again! The hash is pretty legit, and my eggs were perfect. I was suuuuper happy!! Prices are great, totally coming back here!! for 2 of us with coffee and pop, was just under $15.00. /Hash!!!

Great place for breakfast & lunch. Omelettes are loaded, service is quick and friendly.

This was a wonderful find! Don't let the line out of the door fool you. They will seat you very quickly. The food was wonderful. You can watch it being made on the griddle in the middle of the restaurant. I had french toast and bacon, my wife had biscuits and gravy (she said they were almost as good as mine, I make very good southern gravy) Two of the kids had pancakes and bacon, and the third one had a concoction of sausage gravy, biscuits, sausage patties, and scrambled three eggs on top. It looked wonderful. He is a big eater and he couldn't finish it. The portions were very generous. The price with coffee was less than $30. The service was great and food was better. Wish we lived closer! I would be a regular.

The Country Coney is just a little hometown diner that only serves breakfast and lunch. You can see the cooks making your food right behind the counter. This way you can always see what you are getting. We have only been for breakfast, but it is always good. My eggs are always cooked correctly, and the potatoes are more like american fries than hash browns. The one complaint that I do have is that sometimes their bacon is not as crispy as I would like. Service is always fast and friendly. We never wait for a coffee refill. Food always comes out hot (or cold if its supposed to be). The prices are competitive with the other diners in the area. We are regulars here, and we will definitely be back.

Cozy spot to stop and have a wonderful breakfast. They do a great job here with omelettes, they are very delicious.

I come here for breakfast sometimes. Although it's a busy place the food is always ready in a reasonable amount of time and it's always fresh off the grill! If you're looking for a good breakfast, you can't go wrong coming here.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who used to live in Lake Orion. It's a small place and I would have driven by it without noticing it if I hadn't been told about it ahead of time. The parking lot was full and when we walked in, the place was packed. We got some seats at the bar and had a full view of the grill. The waitstaff was super friendly and fast. The food was a reasonable price and very good. I had breakfast and enjoyed myself thoroughly. It is a non-smoking facility and a great place to bring kids. The booths are so huge, you can fit at least 6 people in each. I have since been back for lunch and had a great time as well. I highly recommend going there if you are passing through.

Ahh, the memories at Country Coney. This is a TINY place that serves really good breakfast and lunch. I remember the weekend mornings my mom used to bring me and my brother and we always had a good time. Friendly people and FAST service!

Ordered a medium burger and it was raw so I sent it back. Now I don't care that they put the same burger back on the grill (already cut in half) but the owner put his hands on it, then the cook, then they put it back on the grill! It was very well done and dry. The kicker was when I fronted the owner, he tried to lie his way out of touching it. If you can get what you order, (sometimes you do), it's a quick place to get in and out of. The wait staff is fabulous, the owner needs to let them run it!

Best Philly Steak Hoagie EVER! If you are in the area, you have GOT to stop in here. Definitely not just any old Coney.

Little hometown diner with big time taste. Not much seating but they get you in fast. Great service, friendly staff! Good size portions of tasty food. The American fries are awesome! Burgers are cooked right and are way better then most coney joints. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast or lunch.

Literally the best coney I have ever eaten at.

I used to work here from 1981-1983 when it first opened, went though 3 different owners while I was there, Scott Pike owned it when I left and I believe he still does? I loved working there and the food was FANTASTIC! I miss the #1 breakfast & hamburgers plus you couldn't beat the price! That is where Hot Rod Bobs Greek salad dressing came from, he would never give out his secret on the dressing. If I lived closer I'm sure I would be a regular, great place to eat and I highly recommend it.
