I like what Ruby Tuesday has done with the menu, in that it's great to have more healthy options, particularly for sides. It is this feature that keeps my wife and I returning about every month. However, this location misses the mark consistently. The steaks are almost always overdone. Once when we brought this to our waiter's attention, she even admitted that the cooks were "not the greatest." Additionally, while wait staff is generally friendly, most of the time they are not attentive, and on some occasions seem like they'd rather be anywhere else. It is these continued frustration that is leading us to generally pick other similar restaurants over Ruby Tuesday.

Amazing service! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Promptly sat, the waitress was wonderful, and the food was great! I love this place.

Sometimes it seemed hit or miss. Then I realized I had to look at it for what it is. A slight step above a fast casual restaurant and a bar. We've tried to get higher end items on the menu and that's where the dissapoinent came in. Today I had a coupon for buy and adult entree and get a burger free. That was a great value as a single mom because my son, the picky eater, loves ravioli and they have that on the adult menu. Given his pickiness I asked for no cheese/crust on top and no spinach. They couldn't take the spinach out because it comes in the sauce already. That's where I arrived at the step up from fast casual. My burger was great. And the fries were perfectly salted with a nice crisp. I haven't had their alcoholic drinks but they look good. I had a non alcoholic drink once and it was yummy.

I really like the atmosphere and how it's located in the mall makes it a prime spot to get quality food while out shopping. The owner is a really nice guy and it is well managed. I have been there many times to try all there specials and I will keep coming back! Great place to take buddies or a family on a mall trip. Oh and if you drink and your significant other has dragged you to the mall and need a cold one they serve beer and liquor too!

Eating here was a huge regret. I rarely choose chain restaurants but the commercials made the food look SO good. Complete false advertising. Even Applebees may be better than this place, yuck! I had the Big Dipper appetizer platter, see the pictures, it was burnt, tiny portions and tasted like cardboard. My daughters pasta from the kids meal was gross, they put feta cheese in the quesadilla (!?) and the dinner rolls were the size of a quarter. If you are eating near the Meridian mall please go somewhere else, even the food court is a better choice. Three hours later and my stomach still hurts :/

Quick cheap appetizers and happy hour after shopping! Actually a pretty good place... Decent prices and good food, drinks. Nice way to start or finish your trip to the mall...

Service could be much improved upon. I came here with a party and one of the guests happened to spill water on herself and the table. In a normal situation, the waitstaff would come over to help clean up. However, our waitress was no where in sight, the hostess at the stand next to our table didn't offer to help or get anyone over. I flagged down a guy that was wiping down tables next to ours. He decided wiping tables was a bigger priority than a wet table and didn't come over with towels until after he finished his task. Can the waitstaff please have some common sense in what is more important to customers? Bad service trumps decent food in my book, not coming back again unless someone drags me.

I normally like Ruby Tuesday, but not this one. Every time I've tried it there has been super slow service, the food is mediocre at best and one dish has always been delayed for some reason or another. The last time we went we had to wait 45 minutes to pay because they didn't tell us their credit card machine was down. We had already been there for over an hour just for burgers. My husband had to go to the ATM and get cash while I waited. They did not offer anything to compensate us for the long wait or inconvenience. I will go to other Ruby Tuesday's but not this one.

Updated review. We came as a party of 3 on a steady Monday night. We ordered entrees (2 soups and salads and 1 burger) and a mozzarella stick appetizer. Two of us got our plates at the salad bar as we waited for our mozzarella sticks. As we ate our salads we continued to wait for the mozzarella sticks thinking they would arrive anytime, I mean they are an appetizer of breaded cheese, this shouldn't take long. Soon our soups arrive with no mozzarella sticks in sight. I mean we got our dinner before the apps and one person in our party still hasn't received any food. Finally the cheese has arrived and they are sub-par at best. I mean I would rather eat Denny's at 2am. We've been here for over an hour now and still no sign of that 3rd entree. Pray for us that we don't starve while we are waiting.

Great food, large emphasis on seafood, they have lots of $5 drinks like margaritas, mojitos, long islands, cosmos, anything with the well which is pretty good. It's smirnoff, Bacardi, beefeater, Jim beam, sauza, and cutty sark. I had the smokehouse burger which has BBQ sauce, onion straws, ny cheddar cheese, bacon. Best burger I've ever had. My friend had the New Orleans seafood. It's a tilapia fillet with New Orleans seasoning so it's kinda spicy topped with shrimp and a Parmesan cream sauce. He loved it.

Wow, what a surprise. Didnt expect mall restaurant to have such good food. daughter said seafood platter was way better than a lobster restaurant we usually frequent. We had burgers that were so good when the juice ran down your arm you wanted to lick your elbow! Son in law had barbecue chicken flatbread, which he said was fabulous. I had the papaya ice tea and it was so scrumptious with little chunks of papaya that i had 3!!!!

I've gotta say Ruby Tuesday has definitely improved itself since our last visit a year or 2 ago. When you walk in it looks like you are coming into some classy place instead of just your run of the mill chain restaurant. Dark wood furnishings and nice lighting makes it quite pleasant. The menu consists more of full entrees than burgers. They now bring out cheese bread, very similar to that of Red Lobster's Cheddar Baked Biscuits, out before dinner. We both got fish entrees. Mine was the cajun tilapia with the mango salsa on top with grilled veggies and the salad bar. Everything was very good. I was surprised to find that the salsa had some kick, I figured since it was a mango salsa it wouldn't be very spicy. Husband had the New Orleans Seafood, also very good. I ended up having to steal a bite or 2 because it was so tasty. He also got the mashed cauliflower as his side. This is a healthier version of mashed potatoes, but it had a considerable amount of butter in it. Not sure if it was the amount of butter that made this great or what, but I'll take it. We were pleasantly surprised with the improvements of Ruby Tuesday's that we just might come back.

Ruby's is a good place that's always convenient (except the parking and the fact it's built into the mall) and has good food, the salad bar is always awesome!!! It's got plenty of options and is good side added on any entree, usually a very cheap add-on. I recommend the Ruby Mini's or the Buffalo Chicken Mini's with the salad bar, so very much food! The drinks are good too, plenty of non-alcoholic choices as well as ones that have kick! Can't say that I have ever waited here, there seems to always be a seat and the staff is always very pleasant to deal with. This is a local favorite of mine!

Mediocre food. On the greasy side. Even vegetable dripping oil. Super long wait for food (an hour at 5 pm!). Good cheesy biscuits and drinks.

I used to love this place but after this past Sunday, I will probably not be going again. I get that they have changed the atmosphere and are trying to be more of a classy, upscale place but it was just very sad. It was later, not busy, and very like one of the reviews below, weird. Our waiter barely came around because he was too busy following around the hostess and hanging out with all of the staff. I like a good time but the laughing was loud and annoying. So...we both ordered the salad bar but decided to try the 'appetizer of the week' that was supposed to be the amazing fondue. Disgusting. Either they put the order in wrong or their version of fondue looks like a runny shrimp gumbo. My bf also ordered a bowl of soup, but after we had our salads, the appetizer and drinks, it was 15 mins later and we assumed he forgot. Nope. It came out as we were waiting for our bill. Nice. Too top it off, we didn't realize it til we got home but he overcharged me for the wine. I specifically ordered the 'lower end' cabernet but got charged $9 a glass. Oh well..

I will not ever be going to Ruby Tuesday again after being served Popcorn Shrimp which seemed to have not been deveined! See the picture that I uploaded. I think that not deveining shrimp is an unacceptable, disgusting practice. Yuck! Gross! I cannot trust a restaurant that would do this. My wife ordered a shrimp and pasta dish in which the shrimp was not breaded and I noticed that they deveined that shrimp.

I hate chains but I make an exception for Ruby Tuesday. The food is good, the menu changes and updates fairly often with unique options. They're not just offering up the same crap that the other chains sell. The salad bar is awesome too.
