Lucky house is one of the best in the area for delivery service. They are super fast, very friendly and the food portions are huge! I've only tried a couple of their dishes so far but they were both great! Will be ordering from them again soon!

I've been a fan of Lucky House since 2005. Great food, polite service, and quick delivery or easy pick-up. Highly recommended!

Was good. But I haven't been back since the 2 year old got his hand cut off in the meat grinder about a year or two ago. So I'm not sure how it is now.

Worst Chinese food I ever had. People in this town have no idea what Chinese food should taste like if they eat this greasy mess of garbage. I just threw away $30 worth of food. It is awful.

Normally I wouldn't place an order by phone without looking at a menu, but after a 5.5 drive we didn't feel like going anywhere in person. I called Lucky House after striking out with the first 3 closest Chinese places google maps listed by our hotel (all closed). The man who answered was great about walking me through the dishes they offered and the combo meal specifics. He promised me that his driver was 'very fast', and he didn't lie - our food got here in less than half an hour, as promised. As for the food, we were very happy with the almond chicken. Both with the great taste and generous quantity. We probably could have easily split one, especially since the combo meals included an eggroll (also really good). Since it was below freezing outside, we stuck the leftovers in the trunk and plan to enjoy them later. Gotta find the silver lining when it comes to Michigan winters, right? My fortune cookie fortune read: "Wealth is the ability to fully experience life."

The egg drop soup was very good. The small was a very generous portion. Could have been split. The egg foo young and spicy garlic chicken were also good. All portions were large and easily shareable.

If you want unlucky, overcooked, generic, American Chinese, then this place is for you. While the service and quantity is good, the food tastes like blah! We ordered the triple delight, the string beans, and Singapore chow mein, and the first two tasted so similar in terms of the sauce. I felt the string beans were just murdered in the cooking process. it tasted like rubber. The chow men simply tasted like curry-flavored noodles cooked by a 4 yr old. Felt like someone just added curry powder and chili pepper to the noodles. Overall, the food is worth not the trip, or take-out, despite it being close to where we live. I believe there are just "lucky" to remain open all these years. What a waste of space and food!

First time to lucky house. Egg rolls mealy. Beef was chewy. Lots of food for the $$ but we will not be ordering from here again.

Solid take out Chinese food in the Okemos area. Nothing fancy here, just good old americanised chinese food. This is my family's go-to chinese food. Friendly staff, with good food at good prices.

Disappointing. Quick friendly service when I walked in for takeout, but can't understand how one could overcook food so much in that short of time! Sweet n Sour chicken was fried to a hard jerky-like texture, kids wouldn't eat it. Beef & broccoli had limp broccoli and grisly, chewy beef.... Seafood dish was a watery mess... Called them to see if they could remedy our meal and was hung up on before I could even explain my concerns. (I was not rude in any way) Too many other decent options out there to ever consider going back.

So far so good for me. I get the chicken with mixed vegetables combination tossed in general Tso. It's very good, hot and reasonable priced. The employees have always been very nice as well.

This has to be the worst Chinese food, I've ever had anywhere. The place was slammed tonight and obviously people in Okemos have no clue when it comes to Chinese food. I'm shocked actually, I guess beggars can't be choosers as Chinese food is almost non-existant in Lansimg. I ordered two dishes from the menu board - chicken egg foo young and Singapore rice noodles. First, the egg foo yuck simply was unedible - greasy tasteless gravy with lumps of gelatinous fat over fried scrambled egg patties with chunks of chicken, bok choy and onion. No bean sprouts whatsoever, only the cheapest ingreients and again, flavorless. Next the singapore rice noodles were a pound and a half of tastelss noodles, sprinkled with a dash of curry powder, three small thin pieces of chicken, three small pieces of pork and three baby shrimp that were almost raw, a piece or two of bok choy, but absolutely no green onion, bean sprout, broccoli, bamboo shoot, pea pod, cabbage, water chestnut or any other veggie. And no beef as was supposed to be included. It was a mound of tasteless noodles, supposed to be a spicy dish. Total flavor void all around and a total ripoff. If that wasn't bad enough, I pointed to the combo menu, but was upcharged for the dinner portion which included no egg roll or fried rice. I won't be back!
