Excellent pizza, doesn't break the bank! I've ordered Cottage Inn ever since my freshman year, never disappoints. It's no Chicago deep dish, but the toppings are fresh and the service is fast. Most recently I've interacted with one of the managers I think his name was mark or Steve, something super white. But he made me one hell of a pizza. Best pizza in Haslett for sure.

I love Cottage Inn in Okemos. Always great, fast and friendly! Tonight I over payed them and they called back because the driver has a conscience! I never would have known and I appreciate the honesty!

Sadly, though they make great salads and sandwiches, their pizza in SO INCREDIBLY INCONSISTENT AND IS GENERALLY NOT A GREAT PIE. Though they are conveniently located and open for carry out and delivery late night, the staff at the Okemos location has showed themselves to be extremely inhospitable and inflexible when a problem arises. I was surprised at the way the three different problems we had over the course of a year were handled by the staff and management. Combative and smart mouthed to my mother who is a older person in her 70s. Outrightly rude and accusatory when calling to say the pizza was incorrectly made. Shocking that a customer would be told when explaining the toppings were incorrect, that " your lying "!!! Directing us to return the pizzas for their inspection, and they will decide if they were correctly made or not. After telling them, that's kind of crazy, you want us to drag these pizzas back over and YOU will decide, NOT US THE CUSTOMERS, if they were correctly made and YOU, NOT US THE CUSTOMERS, will decide if you will remake them. My mother was given a disrespectful " yup" . She asked further if you deem that these pizzas are are fine and were made according to our order, then we get sent home left with cold dried out pizza that we believe we did not order and do not like not want to eat? He replied " yup" again. That was the last time we will and have ordered from there, as we found that incident rather shocking, upsetting, and a total waste of money as we threw the pizzas out as they were awful.. missing sauce on both, with mixture of two of the 4 veg toppings we orders and 2 meat toppings that we as vegetarians did not order. I am not sure if the Cottage Inn corp is difficult to work for and does not allow for wiggle room for situations like this, or if the procedure at this location is extremely ridged, or if this is a case of a overworked or angry manager and team which was working that evening. I can understand with MSU being nearby the Inn has to be weary of college kid tomfoolery, and their defenses are high. However, they were aware that we are a local family with parents in their 70s and adult children in their early and mid 40s. Believe me, we have much bigger fish to fry then trying to trick some young kids making pizzas around the corner. Horrible way of treating any customer, surprising-shocking actually, being treated with outright aggression and disdain over a pizza.

Ordered delivery to my hotel room. Arrived quickly. Cold...luke warm at best. Overly salty to the point of being gross. Oven baked wings were slimy and cold. Shoulda ordered from one of the national chains. Very disappointed. They will get no more of my money.
