I really enjoyed our visit. The service is very fast and very friendly. They really pay attention to their customers. Every town has a go-to Mexican place and Cancun doesn't disappoint. For Americanized-Mexican food, you can't go wrong. Chicken Enchiladas were excellent and the queso fundido was very good as well. Wash all that down with a great margarita or dos and you have yourself a nice little lunch for a Saturday between games at a lacrosse tournament. Would certainly stop here again! Thanks

A pretty good mex rest....I had the chimmy with queso...make sure you choose the meat, or they will put ground beef in your choice, which is ok, but shredded chicken on shredded beef is much better. The chip are warm and the salsa is good too.

Very good authentic Mexican food. Excellent and plentiful combination plates at reasonable prices. Our service was also good the day my family and I visited this establishment on a Sunday afternoon.

They started with a basket of tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa had a little kick to it so no need to add hot sauce, which just happens to be imported from Mexico and not New Jersey. I ordered the Chile Verde, which came with floor tortillas, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, rice and beans. The Verde had a good pork taste. A little salty for me, but I am not a user of salt. Even with Tiquila I don't use salt. That's just the way I roll. The menu has a lot of offerings, so be prepared to spend a little time looking it over. Overall not a bad place and I would recommend it for dinner. Enjoy.

Crap service and mediocre food. You'll get better consistency at Taco Bell down the road... Seems like every time I get roped into eating here, it's a bad experience. The latest was a 20 minute wait with no drinks. No drinks after TWO people took our drink order. Really? We decided to leave and get food across the street at Backyard BBQ. One can only wish Lansing could get a DECENT Mexican restaurant in the near future! God know this place doesn't even come close.

We had an excellent lunch here while visiting the area. Even our young kids liked their food. The chips and salsa are complimentary and tasty. The beans and rice that come with things are really good. My burrito was excellent. The shrimp fajitas that somebody else got looked amazing. My only complaint is that there were a lot of cold drafts when the door was opened by people coming and going. Given the strip mall location there isn't much they can do about that. I'd definitely go back.

Awesome Ritas! Large means LARGE! Went for vegetarian options and they delivered some great veggies in the fajitas! Onions, Green Peppers, Tomatoes, Cali flower, Carrots, Squash, and zucchini. We even asked for some more spicy salsa and they brought out a nice spicier salsa. The Chille Rellanos and great. Service was really nice and attentive.

I have been coming to Cancun for a few years now and havent had a bad meal once! The staff treats you like family and is very attentive to your needs. The food is great...standard mexican fare, but tastes very authentic! I like the shrimp dishes, the Camarones Al Ajo, Camarones Al Diabla, the Shrimp Fajita Quesadilas are all very good. If you are into fajitas, the fajitas cancun come with steak, chicken and shrimp, a ton of food! My family likes the Polo Loco, La Planche, ismeal especial, and to start with the guacamole. We like to get the "fresh guac" which could be the best thing at the retaurant! The decor is very colorful and is a hit with my kids, lots of birds and things to look at. They also have a good number of flat screen TV's, that they will change to various sports upon request. I highly recommend this place!!!!!!

My second favorite Mexican spot in the Lansing area. The food is very fresh and flavorful, affordable, and they serve huge portions. Honestly, it's all good stuff. I have nothing negative to say about the food - I even enjoy the chips, which I'm usually a snob about. What I love most about Cancun is the Speedy Gonzales lunch special. Check it out if you work in the area... you'll want it every day.

Great place to go for work lunches, since the service is so fast. The food is also pretty solid (nothing amazing) and the lunch specials are really cheap. Good service and a good place to go for work lunches, especially if you don't have a lot of time. I really miss coming here all the time with coworkers back when I worked in the area.

I've had a lot better... As I have said in earlier reviews I love Mexican food. This isn't so good, except for the Chicken Enchiladas, they were really good. The Guacamole was really bad. I assume they opened a can and poured it in the bowl. I couldn't finish it. There are definitely better Mexican restaurants around... Find one, you won't like this place. Oh, one other thing, NO DR. PEPPER... pfffft... pfffft... The waiter was nice and efficient. NO DR. PEPPER... pfffft... pfffft...

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
