Service is OK Food is of a good quality The roast chicken was fresh and not dry although I am not sure what is was served on... Peculiar schmoosh. My husband had the filet mignon and again it was OK, not the most amazing steak but definitely cooked to order - medium was actually medium. Very busy and we were in and out quickly as it was bed time for our son. Service is not outstanding here, but if you are after something a little more "home style" then this seems to be a good option that is not your standard run of the mill US Chain style food.

Had I written this last night, it would have been a four-star recap. As I write this, the bar-server has just finished her own dinner with her back directly to me. I've been sitting here with dirty dishes and empty glasses in front of me for 10 minutes. It's as if I'm suddenly invisible. The start was as bad, but I held out hope that the service would improve. It did not. If you want UK eat at the bar, come on a Monday or Tuesday, when she had the night off (overheard her tell a regular next to me). Also, skip the lightly smoked range chicken. The chicken itself is moist and flavorful, but the bed of melted Brie-laden noodles was absolutely awful.
Just returned from Steve and Rocky's and our meals were simply delicious. All the appetizers and meals were multi-flavored and multi-aromatic, simply marvelous. Four of us including beer and wine cost about $40 each including tips. There are some places when you spend a $100 you have this gnawing, aching regret, but Steve and Rocky's is one of the places there should be no regrets. The ahi tuna was the best I have ever had over many years and restaurants. The cauliflower appetizer was amazing. A gluten free selection and locally source foods makes this a cutting edge restaurant. I agree with the magazine, one of the finest restaurants in the U.S. Metro Detroit has a restaurant that rivals all the big cities of the world. For those who complained about service in some of the reviews, chill out and let the experience come to you. The restaurant is filled with art work to appreciate from metal work, pottery and art. It is a multi-layered visual experience. I will certainly remember Steve and Rocky's for our of town guests. Fine dining at a real reasonable price.

It is funny how people remember food. A wedding you remember the food, graduations, etc... I remember leaving here thinking we could have done better at home. My salmon was cooked perfectly. However the tortellini seemed like the frozen kind you can get at costco. The hubby had bbq ribs that were cooked well and okay. His corn on the was seasoned uniquely however was cold; room temp. Great atmosphere but unfortunately overrated.

Love the atmosphere and food was great; good presentation. Wait staff very professional. Loved the Oregon Pinot Noir and variety of desserts.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect with the name of this place, it was throwing me off, is it a sports bar, fine dining, family style, no clue, guest kept it a surprise. As you enter, you have a choice of being seated in the dining area or having a seat at the bar. We chose the bar area, gave a very cozy relaxing feeling. I ordered a raspberry Cosmo and the friend ordered a glass of house red wine, probably the best red wine I've tasted offered as a house wine. Friend is good friends with the Exec Chef there and of course we wanted to know what's a must try. I ordered the lightly smoked roast range chicken and he ordered the roast duckling. The vegetables that each dish was paired up with was the best combination with a poultry dish and cooked/seasoned to perfection. Ordered a couple more glasses of wine to enjoy the vibe of the happening bar. I observed every plate that was brought out to the bar guests and every dish looked appealing. The bar remained packed all night, a waitlist actually began for the bar area. Saw so many great dishes that we want to try next time and we will definitely be back soon.

I thought the food was good/adequate - nothing mind blowing, and the service was great but boy - this place was dirty. Fruit flies were buzzing around me, the silverware could have been processed a little better and the bathroom was a mess. The floors had a greasy film on them and I had to wipe a dead fruit fly off the toilet seat before I used it. There was also a heater running under the lady's room sink, little odd for a 85F day. Ripping up the carpet and cleaning the sinks in the bar would do wonders to improve this location.

When traveling, I enjoy finding places like Steve & Rocky's -- local, chef-driven restaurants with a propensity for seasonal daily menus and specialty cocktails. Piano player optional. For the most part, Steve & Rocky's delivers solid fare with no-nonsense service, and it is worth checking out if you're in the area, especially if you've already dined at the Toasted Oak in the Baronette Renaissance hotel. I love a menu with specialty cocktails, seasonal drinks and wine recommendations. The night our party visited, I enjoyed a basil-grapefruit martini made with Belvedere vodka. The first was so delicious I ordered a second. Then things got a little weird. My second drink looked, smelled, and tasted significantly different than the first. I love a good Greyhound, but this was not what I'd ordered, and the drink special specifically touted local basil. When I brought this to our server's attention, he told me they'd simply strained this cocktail better and that different bartenders don't always make it the same. Hmm. So what about the large grapefruit pieces in my up glass? He did bring me a plate of basil leaves, though I would have preferred a do-over from the bar. First course was also a special - oysters on the half shell - and they were tasty briny beauties with a little more grit than I normally like. No matter, many restaurants get this wrong, and I've been spoiled by the likes of Kimball House in Decatur, GA. My main course came highly recommended, the Alaskan King crab bowl, and it was very, very good, but...the egg was just a little overcooked, spoiling what I'm positive would have been a lovely yolk-infused sauce to make the whole dish really sing. So there you have it. Maybe my expectations were too high? Maybe our party was too large to fully take advantage of the kitchen? Either way, the food and service delivered a solid three-star rating. Next time I'm in the area, I'll probably go back with a smaller group and see what the daily menu specials bring.

What they say is true... Don't judge a book by its cover! Steve & Rocky's looks like more of a mid range restaurant from the outside... But is very surprising on the inside! The menu is upscale when compared to most other local restaurants... And the food is good. Don't miss dessert! Hopefully, you'll be there when the electric piano is going :-) definitely a great touch for Valentines weekend! Aquarium in the center looks nice and clean :-) a must for us!! Adding a few more minutes... And a place to sit, we might've lounged at the bar :) We got a lot of attention tonight, despite the crowd - and we weren't the prettiest people in the room :-). Overall, definitely a place to try - and try again!

The mushroom soup is the best, it's the same as made by Chef Milo at the now closed Golden Mushroom. Soup alone is worth the visit. The filet mignon and salmon were very good, as was the warm poppyseed bread and salad with citrus slices. Service ranges from good to marginal

I tried to give this place a couple of more chances. The service has not gotten any better (etc. coffee was burnt and it took me forever to get my waitress's attention when I told her she grabbed my cup by leaving the saucer while spilling coffee from the cup; waitstaff constantly stands talking to each other instead of waiting on us; poor attitude and just seemed to lack care for the service they were giving. I waited and bartended my way through college so I am sensitive to their jobs but they really were poor at it. The food has seemed to have gotten worse. Their bread that everyone loves has gone downhill. It has become tasteless. The entry salads seem as if they are thrown on the plate, often missing or small amounts of what was supposed to have been in the ingredients. The portions have shrunk and lacks the great flavor that used to be what their dishes were known for.

Steve & Rocky's is an enjoyable experience from the moment you walk in, till your departure when your taste buds sing praise of affection and beg the question, 'when will we be back?' This was our first time here and had we given 'first impressions' heavy weight, we would have walked right out the door. We dined on a Thursday for lunch and although the place was busy, it wasn't THAT busy to overlook customers. We waited and waited and waited to be seated. I tried walking near the bar and thought my eye contact with the bar tender would get us a table but in the end, I had to flag down one of the wait staff to ask to be seated. Once we were seated, the service was excellent! Our waitress was great, patient and knowledgable with my many questions regarding the menu. This is always a super plus in my book! To start off with, I ordered a Caesar salad which came with the best dressing I had ever tasted. The salad comes as a whole romain which is intact and not cut up. The parmigiana cheese is fresh and sprinkled on the top. Who ever thought a salad could be so satisfying? For an entree, I got the smoked salmon with mustard sauce. It came with green beans, artichokes and capers which gave the creamy mustard sauce a nice zing! The salmon had a wonderful freshness to it. My significant other got the sirloin tips which were drool worthy but only 2 out of the 3 tips were cooked the way he asked for. This small imperfection did not lead to any disappointment in taste but could be a detail that distinguishes a 4-star place from a 5-star. Even though we hadn't saved any room for dessert, we couldn't pass up the Bailey's chocolate mousse which made the whole experience complete. The menu changes daily so everyday is a creative surprise. There are also some great deals you can sign up for like 10% off each dining experience which extends to their sister location in Northville. Some highlights of the decor include the massive hanging art lamp which pays homage to a retired dish that used to be a Steve & Rocky's favorite; Pasta Seafood a la Nage! The 'pasta' noodles are lit up at the end to give some low-light ambiance and all the fixings like scallops, clams and shrimp are proudly displayed. There is also a wine refrigerator with a large selection of bottles. The well maintained aquarium is soothing and a beautiful touch to the restaurant. I will definitely be back and I can't wait!

The food is incredible! We had the chicken cordon blue and salmon, both were so full of flavor we wanted to lick our plates! The service was very personable, they have plenty of servers.
Let's start with this: 30 minutes after sitting down for our 7:15 reservation, we finally had our drink order taken. 15 more minutes and we finally had drinks... 45 minutes after sitting down! When our dinner order was finally taken, we were told that they were out of their Char fish, one of their distinctive dishes. So, three out of the six of us ordered their Grilled Mahi instead. Another 30 minutes later, we STILL don't have any food on the table other than rolls - 75 minutes after sitting down - despite the fact that we all ordered salads. Better yet, she comes by 30 minutes after ordering to tell us that they only have one Mahi left and two of us will have to order something else. (What had she been doing for the past half hour?!?) Two of us changed our order to Sea Bass, which was $10 a plate more. So, I informed our waitress to tell the manager that we would be paying the Mahi price for the Sea Bass! OK, so sometimes the kitchen gets busy and/or the restaurant runs out of an item. But, when the Manager came over to bring our salads (which was an hour and a half after sitting down), I told him how poor the service was and that we were EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated. His only reply... "I'm sorry"... then he walked away. When he came by later to clear some plates, I told him again that service was lousy and we were upset. Same response. Finally, on the way out - after paying our bill which only included a $20 credit (for the Sea Bass difference) on a $300 bill - I told the manager one more time how poor our service experience was. Same bland response. I know customer service... and I know things happen. But, I gave them THREE chances to recover and they turned them down. I will NEVER return to this restaurant!

Love this place. If you're ever out in Novi and feeling fancy, I would definitely recommend dining here. Especially if you're a person with exquisite taste buds, you will certainly be pleased with the choice of food.
Steve & Rocky's in Novi is one of those "go-to" restaurants. A place that you can recommend to people, take friends, have an event, and frequent for lunch or dinner and feel confident that you will be satisfied. Prices are comparable to any nice restaurant in the area. Everything that I have ever had here is delicious. Here are some examples of the fine cuisine from my last visit: This place has a classy and laid back feel to it. It is extra nice at dinner time when they have the piano player filling the restaurant with beautiful music. They have a daily menu and if you call ahead and make reservations for a birthday, they will personalize the menu for you with the name of the birthday guy or gal. If you go, you MUST give them the 25 minute warning that you want the chocolate ganache for dessert. Oh. my. delicious. I have yet to try either place, but word is the masterminds behind Steve & Rocky's fresh and modern dishes, Chef Steve Allen and Chef Chuck "Rocky" Rachwitz, have also put their expertise into Rocky's of Northville and Rocky's Rotisserie in Livonia.

Unfortunately disappointing. I've always had great food and service when I visited in the past. Excuse was 3rd string chef was cooking. Daily special Pork Tenderloin was like shoe leather. Was offered another dish but could tell the offer was not sincere. I finished the meal and just sucked it up. Manager more concerned about the staff schedule and his golf game than customer satisfaction (made sure he heard my displeasure but didn't seem to care). Don't think I will return. Sad when a long time favorite just seems to fall apart

Great food but small portions, ordered a chicken salad and asked the waiter if it was big, he said yes, so I only ordered that, It came a half hour later and it was a 6 bite salad. The other comments on here with slow service is true, lunch will take minimal 1 hour. Overall I would NOT go back.

We made a reservation but still waited 15 minutes. No biggie I guess but once sat I felt it was long to get water, take drink order, bring drink. Yes, keep me waiting sober on my first time here, excellent. Positives-bread and butter. Piano music. The calamari app was a joke. Sub par calamari in a tea cup. Really, I have had better at Carrabas. My baked salmon was fine...over baked and lacking flavor. My husband ordered the Seafood pasta and the sauce was good. I don't eat the other things in it. Lastly, we had a tray behind us that servers kept clanking down dirty dishes on...way to set the atmosphere. Needless to say I will not be back on my dollar...way to pricey for what they deliver. For $90 we could have had a hay day at Outback and and felt satisfied.

This is my favorite place to eat in Novi and I dine there at least once a week. The food is fabulously fresh and everything is made from scratch. Chef Steve (owner) actually grows much of the produce that is served and if he doesn't grow it, then it was locally purchased. They offer daily specials and periodic seasonal menus. In addition, to the fabulous food are the amazing hand crafted cocktails available (Grapefruit Basil, my fav!). They also have a wonderful happy hour M-F, with 1/2 off the Stones Menu (tapas) and drinks (other than very high end wines). Lastly, the atmosphere is quaint and relaxing. Love the roosters!

Food was amazing. I had the shrimp curry soup which was fabulous. Continued with the roasted chicken which was also fab. Ended with the Blueberry cobbler and again, great. The outside of this place doesn't match inside. It's much fancier than I imagined. Lots of old rich white people in here lol I would have given a better ranking but we ate at the bar and the guy was a real prick. Not sure if we were being judged by class but it took 20 mins to get a menu. Once we ordered he literally snickered at our choice. Wth? Once we ordered drinks he was a tad nicer- maybe because his tip went up with the more we purchased. Overall a horrible vibe at the bar. I could not eat here all the time. I would go back for a special event and get a table. No more bar. No thanks! Strangest staff experience I've had in awhile.

If you don't order the filet, you don't know what you're missing. I bet they serve it in heaven. Also, the fresh baked bread basket which is served as you're seated is reason enough to make steve and rockys the place you're going to eat tonight.
Went here for an anniversary dinner. We ordered salad appetizers and a bottle of wine to start. I asked for my salad to be made with no walnuts, and specifically told the server it is because I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO NUTS. He said okay great, no problem, I'll let the cook know. Not an outrageous request at a high-end restaurant. Salads come out and as I start eating, I find several walnuts in the salad -__- Obviously we sent it back immediately, and the manager came over and spoke with us to make sure I was okay. Luckily I was, but in the midst of all of the confusion with the walnuts, our server forgot to take our order. So now we're sitting there with no food for about 30 minutes (keep in mind, my salad was never remade. So at this point I'm STARVING- and have only had wine on an empty stomach for the past hour). Our server finally remembers us and comes over to take our order, but now the restaurant has gotten quite busy. So ~45 minutes after our orders were taken our food finally comes out. I ordered a crusted-whitefish and my boyfriend ordered a filet. They were both fine, but nothing special, and definitely not worth all of the hassle we went through. The high point of the evening was that we got free dessert as an "apology" for the nuts. Which many restaurants will do for an anniversary dinner anyways.

Never disappoints. Great atmosphere, service and food. Perfect for any celebration. Love Chef Milo's Mushroom Soup and always happy with the perfectly prepared duck. Deserts are made in house and always delish. Dress up or nice jeans. One of my favorites around town.

Love this place. It's one of my favorites. The food is always good. The perch is definitely my favorite. Service is always good. I read through the critical comments. I've never had an issue, and I've been there many times. By the way, the cream of mushroom soup is the best anywhere! For those of you not familiar with the references to Chef Milo, he had a restaurant called the Golden Mushroom. Their mushroom soup was out of this world! This is their recipe. Enough said!

This place is absolutely awful, I wish i could give it 0 stars...It is my grandmothers favorite restaurant so I usually bite my tongue and just go to please her, however I have never had a dish there I enjoy. (By the way she is turning 99 in a week and they did not even offer to box up her leftovers, come on, this is common curtesy!!!) The decor is hideous, it is very wanna be contempo 90's California art and needs a serious make over. The staff, clearly has their favorite customers and if you are not one of them, they will easily let you know. My chair was by the drink station, I was bumped into by at least 7-8 staff members. Also, they are terrible at organizing table seating...my sister and I were trying to have a nice dinner with my grandmother, and there were others that were clearly having date nights in our section while next to us was a round table with far too many people for one table set up for a very loud and obnoxious birthday party, who were regulars, so this should not have been a surprise when arranging tables. Honestly the only good part about the meal is the bread. Other than that, I would never recommend it, and will only go if requested by my grandmother.

We missed our old favorite so decided to give them another try. Happily, things seemed to be resolved. We went again; still fine. Then, about a month ago, we took friends there on a Friday night to celebrate a retirement. One person's fish was not cooked through as he had requested and had to be sent back. But the real failure was the service. It started out wonderfully, but after the entrees were served our waiter was nowhere to be found. When we eventually gave up and decided to leave, we had to go to the hostess stand to ask for our check. The waiter apologized and explained that he had been outside prepping some catering equipment! What???? Who has their waitstaff do this on a Friday night with guests in the dining room? We wanted to treat our friends to a nice dinner and were very embarrassed. This was truly the last straw -- we won't be back!

Great food and atmosphere This was a great place to enjoy seafood, fresh salads, and good wine. The portions are HUGE so my companion and I ordered salads and shared an entree. Our waiter was attentive, offered suggestions, explained the specials, and the extra cost associated with sharing an entree, and was efficient without being obnoxious. It was a comfortable place to linger after the meal for more conversation and another glass of wine.

Found this place by accident. From the outside, I almost did not go in because the signs on the building really seemed it was a Catering outfit. The restaurant is warm and inviting, the bar is average size and the colors and non-discript but not too busy. Staff is friendly and informative on the menu. The menu changes daily with fresh ingredients and a few staples. I started with a blueberry martini which started with fresh blueberries muddled with a bit of lemonade and then Stoli blueberry vodka. Very nice drink and good pour. I had the oyster's rockfeller which was housemade, fresh oysters with little breading and heavy on the spinach and cheese, served on a slab of slate, very nice! I also had another tapas of sirloin tips, again served on a slate slab, the meat was fork tender! When I am in town I will be back!

Absolutely spectacular Mother's Day experience. Mushroom soup was decadent as always, salmon was perfectly prepared, and the chocolate fudge dessert was heavenly (with the best homemade caramel sauce I've ever had). We've dined all over the country and had many great meals, but the server was easily one of the best! Her attention to detail made our party of five enjoy every bite!

Made a reservation for Valentine's Day dinner. The service was great, the host and servers were attentive and friendly. The food selection was not very vegetarian friendly, only had an acorn squash entree. Its wonderful if you eat meat though. The restaurant itself was beautiful and there was a very sweet lady providing live piano music.

I LOVE this place! Their food is so upscale and tastes so good! On top of being upscale it has a comfort aspect to it that leaves you full and satisfied! I love their mushroom soup and their Chicken Teriyaki! I would imagine most of their food is as delicious as the handful things I've tried so far!

My wife and I decided to go out to this wonderful establishment on this bitter and gloomy halloween night. I can not explain to you how wonderful of a time we had. We went to this restaurant after the recommendations of fellow yelpers and were more than impressed with our experience. The atmosphere is very classy and welcoming. A women was playing smooth jazz on the piano on our arrival. The dinning room had warm and complementing colors and the seating was spaced at a comfortable level. Our waitress greeted us upon sitting down and immediately brought us two glasses of water. She must have recognized that we had never been there before so she took about 3 mins to explain to us the menu and drink specials. She was not pushy nor was she intrusive. She was very professional and made us both feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgable about the food and the restaurant. My wife and I both had a caesar salad and clam chowder. The presentation was impeccable and begged for a photo prior to consuming due to its shear beauty. The chowder was nothing short of wonderful and the caesar salad was out of this world. All the ingredient were extremely fresh and meticulously chosen for this masterpiece dish. The slow roasted chicken was an 11/10 and displayed such a variety of complex and complementing flavors that had your palate begging for more. The chicken had a lemon glaze on the breast and a slow smokey savory sauce on the leg and thigh. It was a good size portion big enough for my wife and I to split. We then followed this lovely meal with a decadent chocolate lava cake with molten chocolate inside a nice crisp and glazed brownie shell complemented with a dusting of powdered sugar on top. This dessert was set atop of fresh raspberry reduction sauce and complemented with silky french vanilla ice cream. Our experience was one of the best we have ever had at a Michigan restaurant and we would recommend this place to our closest friends and family. I would like to recommend April, who was our waitress as she is one of the most kind and hard working waitresses we have had the opportunity to meet. We will definitely be back to this wonderful fortress of complex dishes and 5 diamond quality. 5 Stars!

Had an email offer for buy one entree, get one free from the summer menu. It was completely worth it! I enjoyed the lobster penne which included a good portion of lobster meat, artichokes and broccolini. I usually add a generous portion of pepper to my plate, but the sauce was so flavorful that I left it alone. My mate had the swordfish. It was cooked perfectly and included a delicious topping of creamed spinach. The side was a wedge of noodle kugel which was like a baked casserole of thin noodles and had a slightly sweet and tasty quiche-like flavor. Since it was baked, the crunchy edge was the best part ( in my ever-humble opinion.) Service was good but unremarkable. This is a nice place to come for a special occasion.

Steve & Rocky's is a bit of an enigma. It could be a great restaurant; all the pieces are there. The food generally is quite good, and isn't that the bottom line? Still, little things always seem to pop up to keep the experience from being outstanding. On our last visit, while waiting for our table (we were seated promptly on a busy Saturday, no issues there), the bartender seemed to be in a grumpy mood. We were served, all good, but his mood was a bit of a downer for openers. The lighting in the dining area is a bit off-putting; half the house is moderately lit, the other half is quite bright. No idea why. We happened to be in the bright half, under a spot. It may have helped my Etruscan tan. Service was very, very friendly...5 stars. But the crowd (it was quite busy at 830) may have overtaxed the staffing. Delivery was slow and uneven. The lamb shank was superb, the poached salmon excellent, and others have noted the mushroom soup ...ah, the Golden Mushroom days .... The price was modest for the food quality. All in all a good visit, and we will return, but other places still have the edge.

I was very disappointed when I ate lunch there last week. First off, the service was awful. We asked our waitress 3 separate times for more bread since we had a large group. She literally brought us more butter with no bread. So we decided to stop asking. Next, my meal (chicken BLT wrap) was very bad. The wrap was stale, the chicken was rubbery, and the sauce inside was bland. The only good part about my meal was the French fries, and baked beans. (You can't mess those up anyways). For paying $10 for that meal I would've been better off going to McDonald's and getting some chicken nuggets. The atmosphere is stuffy, and I didn't feel comfortable in there. For a more upscale place, with a small menu, and tablecloths, I expected a MUCH better experience. I won't be going back.

Really really really enjoyed my meal and the whole experience. Rich the manager was very personable and we had a great foodservice convo. Freen our server was hilarious and extremely helpful. My two dates and I had the filet mignon which melted in the mouth, the perch meal with sauteed spinach was very very tasty and it was enough perch on the plate. Then I had the yummy roast duck and smoked salmon for appetizers. My ladies had master chef Milos mushroom soup. Delicious dinner rolls and last but not least the chocolate molten cake finished us off. We will return. Soon. Not as expensive as listed. The three of us only paid $80 with all that we ate and drank. Well worth it

THIS PLACE BLOWS Terrible service. I took my GF there for a birthday dinner one time. The service was snooty and ridiculous. The food was good and not very memorable.... I mean, it was OKAY... nothing really to remember. It was hot and presented nice but so what? The service was just awful. We were made to feel like we were from another planet. I didn't like the vibe and sighed a big sigh a relief when the check came. Man, I couldn't wait to get out of there fast enough. I never went back.

6 of us went to dinner there. 2 of us sent our dinners back because they were too salty. Another complained about the salt but did not send back. The rolls were bland. The menu consisted of mainly seafood entrees with 2 chicken, 1 pork and 1 steak entrees, Prices were $16.50 - $25.00, mostly in lower price range, Service was outstanding. I had a chicken dish and it was bland. Because of the salt experience, they gave us all free dessert and the desserts were outstanding. We all got something different and they were all delicious. Desserts were in the $7.00 range. We would not go there again.

What a great dining experience, this evening. This is the third or fourth time that we've eaten at this restaurant. For the first time, I thoroughly enjoyed the service. The young lady who waited on us, was friendly, knowledgeable and frequently checked in on our status...We were welcomed with a smile and friendly conversation. She didn't appear bored nor annoyed (which always seemed to be the attitude on previous visits). Steve and Rocky's has an ever changing menu, so what we had tonight doesn't mean it will necessarily be on the menu when you visit. It's a large sized restaurant. There is a small bar in the front section of the restaurant. It's not too noisy, but it is crowded and you are sitting quite close to your neighbors. We started off with Fried Calamari in a spicy tomato ragout. OMG! I wanted to lick the bowl. The sauce was tangy, but spicy and tasted so fresh. I wasn't really impressed by the calamari. It was good, but they cut the calamari rings and seem to flatten them into strips. They weren't very meaty. Very small portion $7.50 I had the Gulf Shrimp Provencal tomato, garlic and herbs, linguine. YUM YUMMY YUM!!! So freaking good! Again, I wanted to lick my bowl clean! The shrimp was so plump, fresh, sweet and deeeeeeeliiiicious. The linguine and sauce mmmmm Fresh, fresh fresh ingredients. Very small portion, but there were about 8 medium sized shrimp. I'm okay with the portion size, but I k now some want more bang for their $. $21.75 YEAH it's pricey...but for quality and we only do a higher end restaurant once a month or so... My husband had the Chicken Scaloppini Saute Oscar; jonah crab and shrimp cake, bearnaise sauce, asparagus, sauteed potatoes. SAME comments as above...The crab/shrimp cake was so flavorful. Chicken was moist, cut thin and perfect. Excellent sauce (yes, he wanted to lick his plate clean, too) LOL $16.75 Our son had the Broiled Norwegian Salmon artichoke and spinach gratin, white wine sauce, fingerling potato, leek and bacon saute. This is my finicky eater and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. 6-7 oz fillet of salmon. Everything was done to perfection. flakey salmon, light and delish sauce. The aparagus was tender and not over cooked. Not one complaint. $21.50 We finished off with a little Creme Brulee...I needed a cigarette when we were finished and I don't even smoke... ; ) LOL So my yelp friends, if you want one of those splurge meals in a very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend this establishment. Happy Eating!!!

We visit here many times each year. This time on a Friday night in November we were a party of six. We had a reservation which is almost a must (even the bar will fill up) unless long waits are okay. Our waiter was very attentive. Our meals were served hot which is very nice. Every one enjoyed their meal selections. The menu selection along with the specials provide a very nice selection.

I took my office staff to Steve and Rocky's. The food that is normally spot on was Very Disappointing. I ordered a Filet (Medium) with seared Scallops. The Filet arrived very well done. When Dwayne the GM stopped by he appeared to be bothered to deal with the situation. Our server then took the meal back for what we thought would be redone. The GM brought it back some 20 minutes later and essentially dropped it at our table and left. The steak was redone, but the rest of my meal that they took back was now cold on the plate. MEANING THE SCALLOPS WERE COLD AND RUBBERY AS WELL AS THE VEGETABLES. I contacted Chef Steve to advise him of the situation. He unfortunately never responded (As he indicated he would verbally and via email). If the owners/chefs no longer care it could be bothersome for this normally steadfast eatery.
We stop in here a few times a year, more in the summer as I am addicted to their gazpacho(which for which I am extremely biased). We were in a hurry and were surprised to see how busy it was on a Wed eve plus concerned because the service is usually slow so this time we ate in the bar. Good choice. Our server was excellent and personable. We ordered right away(after perusing the menu on line-another perk for us)and our meal came literally in minutes, no issues. Exactly what we wanted- quick, professional, delicious, quality food on a table with linens. Oh, and I have an issue with dairy so I brought my own dairy free sour cream and they had no issue! and believe me, lots of restaurants have issues with that.

The food here is pretty good but it didn't knock my socks off. Roasted chicken and chicken cordon bleu were both excellent. The service was just okay but we were sitting at a bar table so it was to be expected. The panna cotta dessert was a little disappointing because the lemon flavor was very overpowering. Give me a vanilla panna cotta any day. What makes this a four star review is the wine. There was a featured bottle for $25 and it was out of this world (for the price). The rest of the wine menu seemed pricey so I think it is a safe bet to go with the featured wine of the day, in this case it was a Languedoc-Rousillon red blend.

Great food, delightful wait staff. Only reason it did not get a full five stars was the piano was so loud I could only hear half the conversation.

First off, can i give a zero???? I took my three daughters and wife to Steve and Rockys for a special dinner before the lion king. This was the worst experience in a restaurant I've ever had. First we made a reservation and arrived on time. We then had to wait for about ten minutes to sit. Mind you there was only about three other tables occupied. We finally were seated and the waiter took our order. We ordered the grilled chicken for my daughters; when it arrived it was not cooked and really pink inside! I'm not one to complain but wow raw chicken! I told the waiter and he seemed irritated that I was sending the order back. The manager comped the kids dinners and was very apologetic. All I can say is I will never be back and I live only one mile away!

Been here several times, it's my go-to for lunch with customers. Reasonably priced lunch menu, fantastic service, and an ever changing decor which is never boring. I would recommend the steak tips and the butternut squash soup. I know that the mushroom soup is a favorite with many, but I don't care for mushrooms, and the squash soup is fantastic. I haven't had a bad experience here, and look forward to going back in the future.
Make a reservation or you will be waiting! We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Luckily we had a reservation. The ambiance is absolutely amazing. A dim dining room with comfortable seating and appealing decor. The menu is small but full of options! Everything that is ordered is made fresh which means you might wait a while for some bread. Totally worth it tho! I ordered the scallops and they were awesome! The only part I disliked was the fact that they put bacon on top of a gnocchi. The scallops were cooked perfectly. And you get 5 nice sized scallops. Delish! The only issue I had with this place was how slow it was. It took forever to get drinks and our food. I swear we were at dinner for 2.5 hours. Kind of excessive. We also got martinis and they were nice and strong. We ordered a martini that wasn't on the menu. They made it with no extra cost. I will def be going back to try the steak. My boyfriend loved it!

Old time atmosphere especially around the holidays. Love the piano player but can't hear if sitting in the back on crowded Saturday night. Mushroom Soup is great. Filet Mignon is one of the best that I've had. Didn't care for the Crab Cakes & Scallops but the waiter said they were popular items. Also had Prime Rib one night and it was just "ok": I think it was blackened, or had a special rub, but lacked flavor.

We came to Steve and Rocky's for a birthday dinner tonight. When I called to make a reservation for 20 people they didn't even bat an eye. They were extremely accommodating and willing to work with our party in any way needed. They even printed some menus with a special happy birthday heading for the birthday boy! The food was delicious, the waitstaff was attentive without being annoying, and the dinner was just an all around success. Thank you for making it easy and providing a great dinner and evening!!

First time my boyfriend and I have ever went here and it will be the last. The waiter was very rude to us. The beef tips that we got were very tasy and so was the filet however the seafood dish that I got was very bland and not tasty at all. The decor in this place is quite confusing.

I think if I were more local, this could definitely be a place that I stop into periodically... the butternut squash soup is amazing. SOOOOOO good. I also had the crab and shrimp cake... which as kinda tasty. Service was cordial, food was good, but I think what I appreciate the most was the fact that their menu appears to be printed every day and quite possible features new items determined by Steve, Rocky, or their chef... well done!

I went here for dinner hoping for some tapas, which wasn't a successful pairing. That being said, the morel "tapas" was very tasty & the stuffed acorn squash was delicious. We were seated right away and the wait staff was attentive without being overly attentive. I will definitely go back.

This restaurant is not a bargain, well at least not all the time. Steve and Rocky's do have a little club you can join for discounts and such you earn based on a point system though. The best deal here is at lunch. Most of your more upscale places are reasonable at lunch hour but here you also get similar portions to dinner at those bargain basement savings too. My favorite things here are soups, salad and fish. The Gazpacho is lovely, zippy and full of fresh veggies. Chef Milos' Mushroom is a creamy and sinful delight. The third soup rotates seaonally but is usually excellent. Here you do not have to pick just one, there is a tasting of three with a little cup of each for those who cannot decide. The House Salad is my absolute fave. I will confess I enjoy it so much here I have come up with a similar recipe to make my own. It has mixed greens, sections of grapefruit, pine nuts, dried cranberries all wrapped up with a yummy honey mustard vinaigrette. The Wedge salad is popular but I do not see what the fuss is about, I guess iceberg and green goddess is too much to have to deal with to get a bonus shrimp kabob to me. The spinach salad is very nice, especially with grilled salmon. The fish here is always fresh and special. The Lake Perch Saute is heavenly, with wilted greens and hazelnuts with a brown butter vinaigrette. The lightly smoked and poached Salmon is great with artichokes and capers in vermouth. Both are under 11.00. On many days there are up to 3 fish specials, I highly recommend giving any of them a whirl. They know their fish and always make it interesting as well as perfectly cooked. The Lunch Box usually has a fish dish, basmati rice, salad and dessert, all for the low price of 9.00. For the meat lovers out there, the Chicken Scallopini Oscar is delicious with its crabcake and bearnaise. The men in my life love the Beef Tenderloin Tips Saute, served up in a baked potato, very manly. The meatloaf is nice too. If you ever see beef ribs on the menu grab them, you will not be sorry. The desserts in here are always a treat. I have sampled bites and anything blueberry or lemon is splendid. If you are looking for some class food on a budget I will reiterate, lunch!

Wasn't sure what to expect, I had driven past this place more times than I can recall, I was never sure what type of restaurant it was. Earlier this week I met some relatives there for lunch. I couldn't be happier! The staff was excellent, very prompt and friendly, my tea never went half full. They showed my children the fish tank and added extra cherries to their kiddie cocktails. Lunch was wonderful, as well, as a first time visitor I asked for the waiter's recommendations, I tried the mushroom soup, it was rich, creamy and perfectly smooth. I had the Beef Tenderloin tips, they were served in a baked potato, with a sauce that is almost indescribable, it was a cognac reduction with a mushroom vinaigrette. It came with roasted veggies, they were pretty good, but not my personal taste. The icing on the proverbial cake was the creme brulee, it was exquisite I will be back, and I will bring friends.

1st time. We went in the evening 5ish. Pleased and satisfied. This place is one of a kind and not too many left have service like there's. They are top notch with a huge menu and a variety of menu items. Our party of 5 had beef short ribs (divine), salmon (moist, nice and flaky), duck (juicy and tender). The bread was warm and buttery full of flavor. Our waitress was exceptional--friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She really made a huge impression on how good service used to be and we will be back...thumbs up!! The four stars is only because a child's meal (mom's friend chicken) which were chicken tenders had a bit too much spice and kids don't need all of that.

I have been going to Steve & Rocky's for many years. I have always had awesome food and wonderful service! Last night I had the scallops and they were superb! The mushroom soup on the "celebrating 15 years" menu was delicious! My friend had the duck and she absolutely loved it! She said that Steve & Rocky's needs to have a restaurant on the east side. I kinda like having them on the west because then I can entice my friends to come visit me with a trip to Steve & Rocky's! LOL Thanks again for a wonderful time and I brag to everyone about you guys! Keep up the good work!

The food is amazing. I would honestly expect to pay more, though. Many similar eateries, esp. in Novi charge way more and their food isn't nearly as good. Have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The place just got newly remodeled and the decor is beautiful. I love the perch with basmati rice and the chicken scaloppine. The mushroom soup is to die for. It's the recipe from The Golden Mushroom which used to be in Southfield. My favorite restaurant!

We took a shot on Steve and Rocky's, which has been open in the Novi area since 1998. It's had mixed reviews over the years, but is considered by many to be one of the best places to eat in the Novi area. Vita and I were certainly not disappointed by our experience. First Course: House salad I opted to start with the house salad, which was well prepared and portioned. It had a house vinaigrette, over field greens, dried cranberries, pine nuts and small wedges of grapefruit. It also featured thinly sliced red onion. Overall, this was nothing overly impressive, but it was a nice way to open up the palate. Vita opted for a mushroom soup that was also very good, but I can't say that I had enough of it to judge it accurately. Main Dish: Seared Yellowfin Tuna with Hoisin Sauce (pictured above) I'm a huge fan of of Yellow Fin, and I enjoy ordering it out because I've never quite gotten the searing process down accurately. Chef served this with grilled pineapple, a fried rice cake, scallions and fried wantons. The flavor of the Hoisin reduction was absolutely fantastic, and the searing of of the tuna was executed perfectly. What made the dish most pleasant was the combination of flavors and textures. I almost wish the fish had been just a touch smaller, it felt a bit overwhelming given all the extra elements that were part of the tower. All in all, I'd say it was some of the best tuna I've had in the last year or so. Here's what Vita had: Lake Trout with Shrimp Truffle Sauce and Fresh Asparagus Vita's dish was also excellent. The sauce was fantastically executed and the fish was prepared perfectly. I only wish the shrimp that Chef used in this dish were not of the salad variety. All in all, her dish was fantastic. Again, only two bites didn't allow me to properly rate it, but from what I tasted, it was apparent Chef had good control over his dish. This also paired very well with our Pinot. Dessert: Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Dessert was fantastic. I don't often order desert, but this one was very, very good. Vita loves chocolate and we're both big fans of Raspberry. The mousse was served in a construction of chocolate, mint and fresh raspberries that was delightful from a textural and aromatic standpoint. It smelled as delicious as it tasted. I found myself almost longing for more of the fresh berries though. The sauce piped around the sides was particularly delightful, although a little too sweet for my tastes. But, I won't hasten to say that I'll often pick salty or tart flavors before I'll ever pick sweet, so I may be a tad over critical. The restaurant itself was very nice. You can definitely tell that "Rocky" came from a background in Muer Restaurants, as Steve and Rocky's featured some of the same colorful flair you'd find in a Big Fish or Charley's. Sort of an odd place for such an upscale restaurant, but it's nice all the same. Service was excellent, food was well prepared, albeit a tad overpriced for certain items. We walked out with a tab that was a touch surprising. Big points for a reasonably extensive wine list, knowledgeable and attentive staff and a quiet ambiance. We'd definitely return. (Note this review came from a visit on Aug. 23, 2008 - it was posted on my blog thewouldbechef.com )

Ate at Steve & Rocky's on Saturday night: I was impressed. My parents, who live in Novi, had received a postcard with a "Buy One Winter Blast Dinner, Get One Free" offer. Great offer, especially for the type of restaurant it is (not exactly the cheapest place, though not overly expensive, either). My sister and I ordered the mushroom soup, while my mom ordered the caesar salad. Someone else had written that the caesar salad didn't look appealing, but I wish that I could have changed my mushroom soup order to the salad, instead. The soup was amazing, but the caesar salad looked delicious. It's pretty much a wedge salad, but man, I was drooling just looking at it. We ordered from the Winter Blast menu so that we could be our cheap, Buy One Get One Free loving selves. Our entrees consisted of short ribs, sirloin, and salmon. Large portions and cooked perfectly. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with their meal. Service was so-so. Seemed like the wait staff had too many tables in their sections, as we sat for a good 10 minutes before our waiter stopped by to take our drink orders, at which time we were ready to order as well. The table that was sat behind us when we were finishing had to ask our waiter if someone could take their order; our waiter had that table, too, and told them he would be with them in a minute. The place was crazy busy and the tables are uncomfortably close together. The food really was delicious though, and I was with great company, so the wait and service didn't bother me that much. Make reservations, otherwise you'll be sitting at the bar for a bit. I'd say try it at least once.

I've been here for several business lunch and dinners and have been pleased with each visit. Lunch is surprisingly reasonable and delicious. The restaurant provides an upscale and quiet atmosphere which is perfect for entertaining clients. They can easily accommodate a group which is nice. Novi isn't usually on my route but this place is worth the hike.

This restaurant is relegated to your mall, outer circle, kinda joint but at least it's not of the chain variety. Instead, I'd call this an old Black Eyed Peas brick-and-mortar that was picked up on the cheap by a local chef/restaurateur that was tired of being managed to death. The decor is funky. But not in the way that funky works...not good funky...bad funky. The service was decent...but not great. The food was pretty damn good if you can get past the rest, which usually I can. I was just there a few weeks ago so this review is relatively current. Let me say that I really want to give them a 4 star rating. And possibly, they deserve it for the price. But, at the risk of getting flamed badly here, when in Detroit, I have a hard time smiling. The only place worse is Houston. But, if you get stuck in Novi, give it a whirl and let me know what you think.

This place is a waist of your time. I made a reservation on a Saturday night. When i got there it looked like there was a wait, but since i made the reservation I did think anything of it. I check in with the hostess and she said it should be 10 min. Not a problem I understood since it was a Saturday night. 15 min go by and I ask the hostess what was going on, and she didn't have a answer for me. I told her we can wait any longer and had to leave. Her replay was"well OK, nice try"

Been going to Steve and Rockies since they opened and have never been let down. Chef Alan makes sure his menu is always delicious and relevant. I love the mushroom soup and the fresh bread is always stellar. Try the spinach salad it wont disappoint. I used to clean my bowl of Jonah crab until there was nothing left. I have had many many fine meals at Steve and Rockies and consider it a special restaurant with great food.

After eating here with some co-workers the other day, I became an instant fan. The food here is excellent. The mushroom soup was as good as any I've ever had - creamy broth with just the right amount of sliced mushrooms throughout. For my main course I had the sauted perch, which was buttery and delicious. Even the rice and cooked spinich on the side was nice. A great restaurant in the Novi area to check out if you haven't!

My duck was the best I've ever had. Unappetizing, cafeteria-like food presentation, food slopped together on the plate. I know the mushroom soup here is suppose to be famous - but it tasted no better than canned mushroom soup to me. Small, gnat-like insects buzzed around our wine glasses and our food. Tables were so crowded together that waiters constantly bump you or your chair with their trays or the folding tray stands. This place is living on a reputation from many years past....not worth the time, effort or money..

This place is not resting on their laurels! They are delivering delicious, interesting and fresh food. Our waiter, Michael, was charming, efficient and knowledgeable. When the wine special of the day was unavailable, he replaced it with a slightly more expensive bottle at the same special price. Everything we ate was delicious and delightfully fresh, including the raw oysters. The filet and skirt steak were cooked perfectly as requested. The pork chop was enormous and succulent. Even the side dishes were treated respectfully. If they're serving smoked gouda mashed potatoes when you go, get some! Save room for dessert. You'll love the beggars purse, if you like chocolate and the creme brulee is lovely. The best part? The bill. Three of us had drinks, apps, a bottle of wine, entrees and desserts for $200 and that includes a generous tip! For food and service and ambience of this kind (there's live piano music, for heaven's sake) this is a bargain! I'm not sure what some of these reviewers were expecting, but this is not some neighborhood joint. This is not a health food restaurant (you don't like sauce? ask for it on the side. don't whine in a review). This is fine dining, with all that entails, at a very reasonble price. We'll go again!

I eat here...as often as my wallet will allow, which may boil down to 4-6 times a year. I trust this restaurant to give me my money's worth, to be served in a respectful and friendly way, and to expect that the food itself will consistently meet my expectations. No, it's not a bargain, but so what, it's always good. For those like me, with pedestrian tastes, the filet is always a great cut. I like the Caesar (which some are surprised to find is simply two stalks of Romaine on a cold-white plate). A 'salad' with little fanfare, though the dressing makes up for any lack of drama. I usually bow-out before dessert, but have had some memorable ones. All-in-all you should go, check it out, have a good time and not worry about it.

I really enjoy eating at Steve and Rockys. I actually work at a really nice hotel in the local area where I direct many of our guests there to eat. They always return and thank me for the recommendation. The prices are reasonable and the food is good quality. There is a gentleman who plays the piano many evenings. This gives the place a little spice. I think it is a place that is geared towards a family style restaurant. I think they may want a different image. If they do try to make it more a upscale setting the carpet and furniture needs some upgrades for a more contemporary look. I would like to bring to someones attention that there is a closet to the right when you first come in. It is always open and needs to be closed. I think it needs some attention. Overall I love this place. I like my Filet medium rare with the red skin potatoes. It is always made perfect. I also like the mushroom soup to start with it is also delicious. Hopefully I can make it back soon if I get off of work on time.

My husband and I went to Steve and Rocky's for the first time and left a little conflicted. The atmosphere was good, the service enthusiastic, and the menu had plenty of wonderful sounding options. Here is the root of the conflict - while fish was the main meat on the menu, most of of it was dressed up in fatty sauces and/or breaded. Fish, at least to me, can provide a light, healthy and fresh meal with very little seasoning or sauces. I didn't see many of these options for the fish. It was cream covered fish and creamy sides. However, it seems that Steve and Rocky's has new menus everyday so we may have gone on a day where breading and cream sauces were the theme. So if you like these types of fish dishes then this restaurant is for you. And top it off with the chocolate souffle - it was delicious!

I'm not sure I've been to this location before but we came here for my girlfriend's mom's birthday. They absolutely adore this place for the food and the service. I didn't get to try any cocktails here but I liked the food mostly. We started with two appetizer specials...a cheese plate centered around a really nice triple cream bleu, candied walnuts, dates and melba toasts which was a perfect starter for the table. The next app was a fried duck egg over steamed or poached lobster...also delicious. For the entrée my girl had the pork loin and sweet potatoes and I had the roasted duckling with rice. The presentations were really nice for both but I didn't love either of the dishes we ordered. The pork loin was really heavy on the rosemary and the gravy had a smoke taste which killed it for me, the sweet potatoes were done well though....nicely cooked, not soggy and with a savory not overly sweet finish. My duckling was roasted until mahogany and the skin was nicely crisp but the meat was a little dry. The rice was also cooked nicely but it had some herb or spice in it that was a little off putting. That aside I should have ordered a steak anyway so I can't complain too much. For dessert we ordered the crème brule and a chocolate raspberry concoction wrapped in phyllo and served with ice cream. Both were fantastic and both were gone in a moments notice. Service at the bar was fantastic. Jason took great care of us while their main dining room was bleakly empty. I expect that with the warmer weather people might opt to be on a outdoor patio to dine but all in all I thought this place was A-OK.

(5)Lindsey O.

Absolutely LOVE this place. On our first experience was last winter 2014; my husband and I started with a beef tips, he had a delicious spinach and artichoke covered salmon paired with fresh vegetables. I had an out of this world dish - salmon and asparagus topped with an amazing crab cake with béarnaise sauce. This was absolutely out if this world! We went here last night for my birthday, and let me tell you I was not disappointed in any way. We started with pork belly over a fennel and cabbage salad, this was delicious. I had the 6 oz filet in cognac sauce, redskin mashed potatoes, green beans and crispy onions - it was an explosion on the pallet. Husband had Bouillabaisse that included Maine lobster, Gulf shrimp, and Atlantic salmon, saffron broth, garlic and tomato- he loved every bite. We also shared a delicious bottle of wine and the service was impeccable. We will be back very soon.

I will NEVER return to this restaurant!

sesame scallop was very tasty. but most of all, i think their dessert selection is amazing. chocolate mousse cake was the perfect way to finish the tasty dinner

Love this place. If you're ever out in Novi and feeling fancy, I would definitely recommend dining here. Especially if you're a person with exquisite taste buds, you will certainly be pleased with the choice of food.

It was a beautiful summer afternoon - perfect for a leisurely lunch at Steve & Rocky's. The Southwest Seafood and Corn Chowder featured the aforementioned ingredients in a tomato base which was a surprise; I had expected a cream-based chowder. Good, just unexpected. The Beef Tenderloin Tips Sauté in a Baked Potato was excellent. The baked potato was partially filled with extra-creamy mashed potatoes and served with a cognac sauce, sherry mushrooms, onions, green beans and carrots. The medium-rare beef tenderloin tips were cooked perfectly and topped the potato. The portion is large so enjoy the remainder later on for dinner. I also tried the chocolate bombe for dessert. This chocolate mousse dessert has a very thin brownie base, and a chocolate ganache topping. A sweet, dark chocolate bark (it looks like bubble wrap served as the mold), fresh raspberries and blackberries, a raspberry sauce and powdered sugar finished the dessert. The service was exemplary, the ambiance and music selection lovely, and freshly-baked (famous) bread delicious. A rule of thumb, I find that if the restaurant pays attention to the bread it serves, it pays attention to the other details, as well. It was truly a delicious and reasonably-priced meal.

(2)Gio A.
Great food but small portions, ordered a chicken salad and asked the waiter if it was big, he said yes, so I only ordered that, It came a half hour later and it was a 6 bite salad. The other comments on here with slow service is true, lunch will take minimal 1 hour. Overall I would NOT go back.
(3)melissa s.
Delicious! They gave us the perfect table for 7 in the corner. The salmon was delicious, our friend from Czech Republic had the frog legs and said they were amazing. Thank u for a wonderful evening
(4)Krystal R.

(5)Sue W.
(4)Brent N.
If you don't order the filet, you don't know what you're missing. I bet they serve it in heaven. Also, the fresh baked bread basket which is served as you're seated is reason enough to make steve and rockys the place you're going to eat tonight.
(5)Kristie H.
Came in for my birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. Was told the wait would be 45 minutes but was surprised when our table was ready 5 minutes after checking in. We had a great waitress- she pointed out some of her favorite menu items and offered up some great suggestions. My husband and I started out with a beer and I ordered a Cosmo. Drinks were served very promptly. Fresh homemade rolls were warm and amazing.. Wanted more but the kitchen ran out. My husband and I ordered the shrimp and crab cake to share, Caesar salad, cream of mushroom soup, chicken cordon bleu and sautéed scallops. Everything was delicious- the attention to detail was impeccable. Every dish was plated in such an artful way. Flavors were outstanding. Would recommend Steve and Rockys for any special occasion. Prices a bit high but definitely worth it.

Oysters were delicious, as were my martinis and entree(seafood concoction dish...Alaskan King Crab bowl ). My guest was also pleased. Just a little pricey, but I knew that going into it.
(4)Mike S.
Great place, my wife and I love coming here. The food is always delicious and the service is always top notch.
(5)Ardis S.
Never disappoints. Great atmosphere, service and food. Perfect for any celebration. Love Chef Milo's Mushroom Soup and always happy with the perfectly prepared duck. Deserts are made in house and always delish. Dress up or nice jeans. One of my favorites around town.
(5)Judy S.
(4)Molly F.

(1)Wendy B.
(5)Mary A.
(5)Cindy H.
(5)Hashani S.
(3)Franklin J E.
Excellent food, fabulous service and a well stocked bar. Each dish is prepared perfectly...one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. Fresh fish made any way you want it, great soups and salads.
(5)Lyndsi W.

5 Stars!
(5)K K.
The food tastes good albeit a bit heavy and rich. Most of the attending personnel are friendly; although a few were either rude or unprofessional.
(3)Michele G.

(3)Mike W.
(1)Barbara M.
Enjoyed a great dinner here. Florin was one of the best waiters I have ever had! Very personable and extremely efficient-Made our dining experience very enjoyable.
(4)B S.
Well worth it
(5)Ted C.
(2)Marie P.
(1)Edmund M.
Excellent food. I've had a number of meals here and have found their food and service first rate.

I have been to this place three times so far, and really enjoyed it every time. They try to use local, seasonal ingredients and make some absolutely delicious foods. On my most recent visit, I had a super-tasty beet and asparagus salad with goat cheese, a steak with chanterelle mushroom sauce (yum!) and a perfect creme-brûlée. Salivating just thinking about it! We also had a perfect waitress--pleasant and attentive, yet not pushy. Can't wait to go back.

This is my second time in this area and both times I've had a remarkable meal here. Last night, I started with a cup of Butternut Squash soup that was delicious! Then I had the Lake Perch dish with sautéed spinach, shiitake mushrooms and basrati...it was fan-fricken-tastic!!

Food was very good. The service was not so great! Had to wait quite a long time between courses and drinks!

This is the best presentation of fine dining, from the door to dessert! The service is fantastic (Rodney is the best) and the food is always superb! I have the Scallopini Saute Oscar Chicken
(5)Jeff E.

(4)Chuck B.
Birthday dinner was great. Salmon was cooked the way I requested, no butter - use olive oil. Service was very good and efficient. We plan on returning often to take advantage of Celbrated Guest Card.
(5)Nancy M.
The food is fabulous and their service is undeniably the best. It is on the pricer side but worth the money for that special occasion. Or a date with your husband.
(5)John Z.

(4)Miike G.
Great place for that business lunch meeting. Good food, nice ambiance. Their wedge salad is very tasty when accompanied by a cup of their mushroom bisque.
(4)Michael A.
Food was very good. Service was terribly slow.
