However this location has a few sour notes. The bathrooms reek. The service is slow, and the servers don't know their menu well. I ordered the Creole Catch (which is only 1/2 of a filet of fish), but wanted no sides. I did however, want the salad bar, which my waitress added on for $2.99 + tax. An excellent waitress would've suggested the Tilapia plate (which was a whole filet) which came with the salad bar and 2 sides. Same price, more food, and didn't feel like I got "upcharged"... really, I turn down 2 sides and you can't afford to sub a salad? Get real? But from stanky bathrooms, slow service, unnecessary upcharges, and just a poor attitude in general... 2 STARS

There are some good things and bad things about this location. Food is great, as always. We went during lunch. There were people, didnt seem too crowded. The service was way too slow tho. Our watriess made us wait for ever. Then when she had the bill, she took another persons order while we still had to wait. I was sad on how this service was 'that' slow.

My mom is a salad bar fanatic. She visits the salad bar at least three times and for some reason still orders an entree, even though everyone knows she won't eat it. Ruby Tuesday is her favorite chain restaurant, so it's always a safe choice. I've never had any issues with the entrees I've ordered and the salad bar is always good. I love their black croutons and wish I could buy those in a store, or even make them on my own. It is surprising to me that there are two Ruby Tuesday locations on 12 Mile so close to each other, but I guess they're both doing well!

Good experience here. Our waitress was nice, fast, and gave us a coupon to use. My burger was cooked just the way I like and my friend said his ribs were great. The martinis were ok, nothing special, but not bad. All in all a good deal for two people to eat and drink for $50.

Holy shit. The bathrooms here smelled like a raw sewage overflow. Asked our server if this was constant and she said it was and that she doesn't even use the restroom as work because of it. I told the Manager that we couldn't eat there because of it and left. He did seem concerned but the server gave away that this was no new problem.

We had dinner at Ruby Tuesday's this week. The parking lot looked busy, but the restaurant was dead (Thursday night). Like most RT fans, I wanted to come here for the salad bar and a burger. I also tried the salted caramel apple martini which tastes just like a red caramel apple - super good! While my jalapeño pretzel burger was well-done instead of medium (as ordered), it was flavorful. Service was ok and the restaurant was clean. Standard RT experience.

Had lunch there on a Friday. Place was mostly empty but yet the service was terribly slow. Finally we asked the guy at the front door to find our waiter for us. I ordered my burger "medium" and my fries "extra crisp". The burger came out bloody in the middle (I'd call it rare) and the fries were nowhere close to crispy. The bun was very cold on the bottom. I think it was because it was just removed from the freezer. It tasted frozen and it was very crumbly (the way bread gets after being frozen). They didn't even try to salvage a frozen bun by grilling it... probably just slapped it on the plate and counted on the half-cooked burger & the warming lights to heat it up.... hence the reason the bottom of the bun was ice cold... Another guy in my group had a breaded chicken sandwich and it was so rubbery/tough that he sent it back. They brought him a grilled chicken sandwich instead and he said that one was better. I didn't bother sending mine back... didn't want to risk what could be done by an unhappy cook / wait-staff. But rest assured that I will never be returning. (I never used the bathroom so I can't comment on all the terrible bathroom reviews on yelp)

This is where Hubby and I go when we want to eat out and we need to eat healthy. Their salad bar is par excellence. It's always fresh, they offer a wide array of dressings, and their rye bread croutons are good enough to stand on their own. Recently, Ruby Tuesday has revamped its menu to offer more healthy choices. One choice of note, because it is so tasty and so very, VERY low-cal, is their spaghetti squash pasta. For 257 calories, you get more yummy "pasta" than you can eat in a sitting. RT's has also revamped their sides to include a bunch of healthy choices, including faux-tatoes (mashed cauliflower), snap peas, asparagus, and more. The service is invariably decent, the beer, wine, and mixed drinks choices are good, and the atmosphere is adequate (sit at the bar). All in all, a solid choice.

Dust line the windows, bathrooms were absolutely DISGUSTING, food stained the lamp shades, staff was unprofessional. It literally took them 15 minutes to get ranch for the salad bar & the food was mediocre at best! Definitely not an enjoyable experience!

Terrible place to go! Service is so slow and we came during prime lunch time between 12-1. We've been waiting for 45mins for our food. Our server hasn't come back either to do drink refills. This is the 2nd time that I've been here and the service was just as bad. Never again am I coming back. This wait is a joke. I'll drive further down the road to find a place Tokyo to for lunch. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating.

I ate here 3 times during the week as my hotel was next door. Found the place clean and a good atmosphere. Food was great and I had good service from the bar staff. If I'm in Novi again I will stop by for another good meal.

Ate here three times due to proximity to my hotel. Decent salad bar kept up well. Food was good. Service was good (although on one occasion there was a spat between servers in the kitchen that was audible in the dining room). Not very busy during the week, so it was quiet. Will come back if in town again.

A simple burger and fries should not be a tough thing. But it was simply one of the worst I have had on a while. Fast food at sit down prices. There are so many better burgers I have eaten at drive thru places, And the amount of fries you get are very stingy. I can only guess they want you to not get full, so you will order more food, or a desert. Maybe the food is better when your drinking, but I am off the sauce and my taste buds work too well to go back anytime soon.

Went with family this afternoon. Server was great, kitchen was NOT. I ordered a Prime Burger (Medium).and when it arrived 30 minutes later, It was very well done (What a waste of a good burger). When the new burger arrived the burger was cooked well but half the protein (meat) as the prior burger and the broccoli side was very small bits and pieces. I had mentioned the issues to the Manager on duty Steve. Beside him needing to tuck in his shirt I felt he did not care to hear what was going on in his restaurant. Mind you we were offered a desert, which we declined. We just wanted the Management to know what was broken so they could fix it. Steve the manager left us and a nearby couple feeling that he cared less. We will go elsewhere with our $$.

When I asked for the heat to be turned on (30 degrees outside) the server said that the heat was controlled by their corporate office in Tennessee. If that wasn't a line of bull that the manager needs to speak with corporate and figure something out. Looking at their dinning room I noticed that every single table had guest eating with coats on. That is ridiculous!

I always go here with my mom. My dad is a fan of it too. The salad bar is the best. I don't eat meat out, and I find that their veggie options are just right for me. I usually have to send their fries back, because it seems like they refry the fries. I'm a potato freak, so I totally know when fries are horrible as soon as they sit them on the table! But besides that, they do a good job. For a chain restaurant -- I'm impressed.

A solid chain. After cooking at home most of the time, all resturaunt food is too salty and too fatty tasting. So what's the solution? Salad Bar! Ruby's regular food is acceptable, but their salad bar is the best around. Always fresh and maintained with some interesting tidbits. If you have to eat restaurant food (in a chain) this is the way to do it. This particular location is convenient (right off the M5 exit and just off Haggarty), clean, and has a good staff. The bar would be a good place to watch your favorite sporting event if you wanted something a little more upper crust than your neighborhood bar. (3 big plasmas over the bar) overall, for a chain...I approve.
