My favorite pizza. I love the thin crust, real fresh toppings, and the great service that comes with it. I read some of the other comments here on yelp, if you want mediocre tasteless and cheap pizzas, stick with the chains. This is true Sicilian style pizza, the toppings go to the edge of the crust. Not any fat doughy crust. The pasta dishes are all fantastic also. Make sure to watch the specials board for some great lasagna as well.

Not that impressed. It was $46 for 2 large pizzas and some crappy "cheese" bread that consisted of toasted baguette slices with a cheese spread that you would normally put on crackers. Wtf? When I inquired, the waitress had a bit of an attitude with me and brought me some non-toasted bread with the same cheese spread as an attempt to make it up to me. Cheese bread!! Like pizza dough with real cheese on it and maybe some butter, garlic etc. Doh! And wayyy to expensive for what you get. The veggie pizza doesn't have spinach on it, just a strange assortment of veggies...not good. The pepperoni pizza was ok. I'm not a fan of thin crust nor square cut. And picking up a pizza there on a Friday night is a clusterfuck. Nowhere for carryout customers to stand so we ended up getting in the server's way. There are better options, even in Niles, so I would explore those next time.

Lived in both Ann Arbor And Grand Rapids, where good food is plentiful...best pizza I've had anywhere. I get ham green olive my husband Italian sausage, onion, grin pepper. The wait staff treat us like family friends, and the bartender Freedom is awesome. Very good drinks! This place should be on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Love it.

Pete's Patio is an icon of Niles. Since I live out of town, Pete's is one of the first places I visit when returning to Niles. The staff is always friendly and service is always good. The food is exceptional. The pizza, which I would describe as thin crust, is a favorite and the best around. Pete's has a dive feel with classic sports and beer signage in the bar area and simple decorations in the dining area, but the place is always clean and if you peek through the swinging door to the kitchen, it seems impeccably clean. If in Niles, you should always consider Pete's Patio.

Great pizza! Picked up a pizza to go and it was delicious. The crust was thin, the vegetables were fresh and the sauce was tasty. They didn't skimp on the sausage either. Will definitely go back for more.

We made a reservation. Showed up on time. Waited 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Three tables were empty, and two had "Reserved" signs. Interrupted two servers who both said they were waiting for a table to clear. Funny, seemed we were the ones waiting. We left. Not going back. Small, overcrowded. Aesthetically the place looked run down.

I love Pete's Patio. Excellent food - my favorite is their Patio Deluxe Special - recently tried their lasagna - AWESOME - love the relish cart - bread basket with cheese - they carry my favorite wine - Lemon Creek Winery, Silver Beach. Sandy always has a smile on her face and the service is the best. Love sitting in the bar area. When I have a choice it is always Pete's Patio.

Came here on Mother's Day because other plans fell through...Hadn't been here in a while...expecting the usual baked chicken & roast pork specials...We were pleasantly surprised by all of the offerings! Chicken Parm for Mom, Lasagna for Sis, I went all the way for the Prime Rib. They were happy with their choices, I was overjoyed with mine! It was a huge slab of perfectly tender beefy goodness!! Served with a little cup of horseradish sauce - excellent! - baked potato, salad - asked for house dressing - Catalina style/French - my favorite and it was really good! Mom & Sis had the asparagus soup - locally seasonal - delicious! All our meals included the famous relish cart. A couple of new to us salads there plus the 'old stand-bys' we love. One of the specials was steak-n-lobster. We'll probably be back soon to try that, the waitress highly recommended their lobster tail. The waitress was awesome! Very much a professional. Timed each course of the meal perfectly, patient and attentive to Mom, came back often to check on us without being obtrusive. We were all stuffed and happy that we landed here for our Mother's Day dinner.

Prior to the new owners, I would have given this five stars. I have been a regular for 45 years. First let me say that tim, the chef, is awesome!! He goes out of his way to make sure the dinner he serves is great. I many times order pizza to go and use the back kitchen door. The pizza prep area is very clean and well run. The pizza for me is the best of any in the area. When there is any special occasion in our family, we all go to Pete's to celebrate. That said, the new owners are working out to keep the tradition going. My most recent visit there with a party of ten was wonderful. The food for everyone was excellent. Service from out waitress was absolutely fabulous!!!

Great pizza with killer Italian sausage! Been coming here since the mid 1960's and still can't find any better pizza in the region. Thin crust is the rule here so if that's not your thing there are plenty of other goodies to choose from. Tim is the longtime chef and is a great people person as well as an awesome cook. We go at 5 to avoid a wait. Pete's has been in business since 1954 and that speaks for itself. If it ain't broke don't try to fix it!!

My dad and his friends swear this is the best pizza in the world, but it's a good pizza but definitly not the best in the world. The place is a little tight but if I need a bit to eat, I'd order a pie, next time I'm in Niles, Mi

Really cool little place in Niles. Cool little "relish bar", serving several types of pasta salad, pickled beets, cheese spread, slaw, 3 bean salad, etc, complementary with meals. Delicious garlic bread, great pizza and pasta on the menu. Full service bar, family atmosphere despite the bar. If you're not eating pizza, try the "Logalbo Special". Who knew shrimp and mushrooms could go so well together?

Prices are way to high, and the foods not worth it. The food isn't bad, its just average. I know any people in their 40's-ish and up that love the pizza, its not a "hang out" for the younger crowd (20s-30s). I wouldn't go there unless it was for a special occasion or meeting my parents for dinner. The seating area is small and tight, you're constantly bumping into people when trying to use the restroom or the mini cheese & olive buffet they have..

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
