Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Decor of restaurant is super cute, and staff is friendly. The food was overpriced for what you receive (ie shrimp scampi for 16.99 with five pieces of small shrimp and pasta, etc). Breadsticks were fresh, taste wise were ok. We had the toasted ravioli also and it was good. Cannoli was quite small, but delicious.

Their food is okay. The pizza is either over cooked or under cooked. The subs usually have some kind of italian dressing on them so be careful before you order. The wait time can be long depending on the day of the week. The best item on the menu are the breadsticks. They are wonderful!

I love this place, great food at a reasonable price. My only complaint is the seating. The booths are not very comfortable, feels like you are sitting on a board. Servers are very pleasant and helpful, however this is mostly a fend for your self place, I don't find this to be a bad thing, you order at the counter, they bring you your food out shortly after, and your expected to clear your own table. Don't take this as service is poor because it is not. GO EAT THERE!

After Yelping area restaurants we decided on Teddy's. We were in town staying at the Holiday Inn in Spring Lake which about 8.22 miles according to my GPS. As with the many other Yelpers the outside is deceiving, don't let this detour you from the experience of eating here. Upon entering the decor is very inviting. You can take out or eat in. The eat-in option requires that you order at the desk and serve your own soda pop, not a big deal. Lots to choose from the Menu. I opted for the baked ziti my husband ordered the Toasted Ravioli that they are famous for. He ordered the larger portion that has 8 Raviolis. You can get beef or cheese. He opted to get a combination of the two. My daughter ordered the smaller portion which is 5 Raviolis. All the Pasta meals come with a breadstick that is to die for. It is fairly large and is so soft on the inside with a slightly crunchy outside. Just thinking of it makes my mouth water even though I am so stuffed. My oldest son ordered the 12 inch Pizza Pie with 3 toppings. Now, he is very particular about pizza and doesn't like the crust. However, on this occasion he ate it, left only 3 pieces to take home for later. My youngest ordered the Calzone, perfectly cooked and so tasty as he put it. I really do not have anything bad to say about Teddy's. If you are looking for some great Italian food this is your place. There is nothing store bought about them.

We live just around the corner, food is great! Try the Italian crab ragoons (not called that but they know what I want every time), toasted ravioli, calamari or the 7 cheese pizza.....which are some b of our favorites. Oh and if you order bread sticks.....limit yourself they are like mini loaves of bread.

The food was so good but we waited so long to get it! If it wouldn't have took 45 minutes to get our pizza I would of gave this place five stars.

Good homemade Italian food. Nice friendly staff and atmosphere. Save room for dessert the cannoli was tasty!

Quick Italian food with a slow food feel. After a day at an amusement park I had 3 hungry kids and a desire for good food. Teddy fit the bill. The toasted ravioli was superb, the bread crispy crusted yeasty goodness and the kids were quiet. Teddy quieted 3 teens with tasty food. We capped our adventure with a freshly piped cannoli. Outstanding. The prices are low, the place feels old-school Italian & the people are great. If you are nearby, you should give it a try.

We had a fantastic pizza at Teddy Spaghetti's. The bread sticks are the best ever. Don't miss out on them! Staff is very friendly. The inside is really warm decor.

New Year's Eve at Bella Maria, Teddy Spaghetti's ownership, was the best ever. Food was over the top; their Italian appetizers, salads, pasta, unbelievable prime rib, incredible dessert bar, and oh those fried ravioli. Entertainment, fantastic. Thank you for such an amazing evening.

Benn told by a lot of friends and people we know that Teddy Spaghettis and now Bella Marias there new other Italian Restaurant are the BEST in Muskegon and Western Mich. Great advice, we ate recently at both restaurants. Very good food, tasty authentic Italian food, the BEST you will ever find. People if you are looking for the BEST Italian food in West Michigan, these are the places to GO. Great food, service, and super owners. Ted Cerniglia is one awesome owner and person. You will be glad you ate there. Teddy Spaghettis in Cloverville, Bella Maria Italian Restaurant at Oak Ridge golf course in Norton Shores Mich.

We stopped in last night. You order at the counter and they bring food to your booth. I liked the decor and thought it was a super cute place. We had the italian mac and cheese, baked ziti, and spaghetti and meatballs. All were served w a breadstickand were delicious. Only regret is that we couldn't order more things to taste. They deliver food in foil container that it was baked in. Great for us because we had leftovers and were traveling. It is not a super fancy place. Great flavors and friendly people. Update: Returned and had another great experience.

Upon pulling into the parking lot, I was skeptical. From the outside, this place is lackluster and seems to be a "dive." However, once I stepped inside, the decor eradicated these presumptions. The place is tastefully decorated with ropes of grapevines and is very cozy. The food was so amazingly glorious and very fast. It is such a value too--a large drink, entree, side salad, and bread came to around $11. I came back two days later and was just as impressed with my meatball sandwich. They are known for toasted (fried) ravioli, and I can see why! Try this place out it will not disappoint.

Best sauce in Muskegon county. The baked ziti was outstanding. Only thing preventing 5 stars is the amount of Styrofoam they use there. almost everything was on a plastic or Styrofoam (non recyclable) container.

When you pull up to this place, you might not expect much. But when you walk inside it's really cute and clean, and their food is really inexpensive. I got a large soda, side salad, bread, and spaghetti and meatballs all for around $10. Its not to die for spaghetti, but the toasted ravioli is addicting and definitely worth the price. Would come back again.
