Mangos always comes through. I come to West Michigan once a year and try to eat yellow lake perch as often as possible. Mango's Grille is truly the best I have eaten. The service is good and it is bright and friendly. I will be back.

Great little restaurant for burgers, sandwiches and amazing ribs! A little on the small side for seating, but it's worth the wait.

We stopped at Mango's while passing through town. Nice server. Colorful decor. As to the food, my wife and I were not overly excited. My wife had the perch sandwich. She said it was just okay. The bun was nothing to write home about, but the fish was reasonably tasty. I had the crab cake in appetizer portion. This is just personal, but I prefer crab cakes that have been nicely browned on the flat top grill. Mango's version is deep fried. Reasonably decent flavor I guess, and they come topped with a red pepper aioli. No detectable large chunks of crab. The bigger problem with both of our meals is that even though the food was delivered very promptly, it was less than hot. Mine was just moderately warm when I got it. By the time I got to the second cake, it was pretty much cold. I didn't even finish it. Same was true with my wife's perch. I don't understand it, in that when we arrived, we were the ONLY people in the restaurant, so I know the kitchen wasn't overwhelmed. I'll likely take a pass on eating there the next time we are in Muskegon. Overall, not impressed. I've had better food in several other Muskegon restaurants. No reason to go back to Mango's.

What a fun little place! One of my friends recently brought me here, I didn't know what to expect upon arrival but left a fan! The place is decorated in a tropical theme, tiki bar and everything! They offer special tropical drinks and some tropical food items. Both times I have been I have ordered the Perch Basket, hands down the best perch I've had. I feel like most places add to much batter or over cook the fish. Not here! The food comes out hot and fresh. My family members tried the ribs and perch. The ribs were just as good! The service is great, quick but not too quick and very friendly! I would recommend you stop in if you are in the area.

Always have had mediocre food and bad service. There is much better food in the city of Muskegon.

We love mangos even though it's clear across town. We always forget it's there. As a vegetarian, I enjoy their portobello mushroom sandwich.

I have never had a bad meal here. The pulled pork sandwich is great or the chicken burrito (amazing). Don't miss out on the sweet potato fries, crispy on the outside, soft inside. They also have great drinks and decent prices. I have never really seen this place busy which scares me since I want them to stick around! Check it out!

I'd have to say...driving by this place you should think about stopping in. I was pleasantly surprised at the menu choices, and overall tasty food. They have a full 'tiki' style bar and it's a pretty cozy place. Not very large and maybe not good for large groups but definitely a nice place to hang out. They also have live music sometimes (not full bands) which adds to a nice lounge feel. Staff has always been very nice and prices are pretty good! Give it a shot if you haven't already.

Great place, best perch in town, just like the menu says. The walleye was really fresh and they have Oberon. It is in an odd part of town, but stop in and enjoy the live music, its well worth it.

When I am in the mood for a change of pace, decor, food and drink I point my car towards Mango's as it is a very enjoyable, reasonably priced, upbeat mid-sized eatery. Even though I keep promising myself to not always order chicken wings when they are on the menu, (I judged them in small competitions years back) inevitably I do it anyway. Yes, they are on the menu daily at Mango's, yea! I keep telling myself that I choose to consume mass amounts of those tasty little devils, All in the name of independent research. 3 Options: Mild - Tropical Breeze--Medium -Sweet & Spicy Mango-Mexican Heat. A unique sauce unlike any I have previously experienced, thick in texture, pinkish in color but delivered in taste. The Sweet & Spicy Mango was my favorite, such a interesting lingering bite left on me palate. Lake Perch Dinner is touted as The Best in Town, I have no argument there as I am not a Perch expert, but found it to be a light, flaky delectable little fish. Carolina Pork Sliders were reasonably good, the meat was a little skimpy but with all of the options that Mango's offers, you cant nail every item 100%. I've not tried the salads or wraps, but I have peeked at a few in passing and they look wonderfully fresh and are on my 'To Order' list for my next trip. Check out the companies website if you can before you head on over to view the daily deals, as they are very worth looking into. This week's is as follows: Wednesday: $2 OFF 1/2 Lb burgers Thursday: Look for our Feature of the week Friday: $2 OFF Lake Perch Dinners Late night HAPPY HOUR on Friday & Saturday night... 9PM - Close Last but not least-Fat Tire specials on tap!!

I would definitely say "try this" if you haven't been before. It's a refreshing island type atmosphere with a tiki bar, colorful lighting and tropical drink offerings. Really like their perch dinner and never had a bad meal here. It's not large, but a cozy, fun environment not far from the beach. One of local restaurant promoter Hoby Thrasher's quality offerings! (love to support the local guys)

Wow, you don't want to come across the male bartender, T.J, Very rude and unattentive. If he has his laptop or friends at the bar, don't expect any service!!

Me and my coworkers/friends went here for dinner after working around the Muskegon area all day. The waiter was attentive and nice and the service was good. I really liked the peach Sangria I got, it was refreshing and not to sweet. I was not as impressed with the meal though; I had the grouper with the butter and lemon sauce, steamed vegetables and asparagus. The fish came in what seemed a pool of oil (butter in this case), and i wasn't sold on how it tasted. I love fish and seafood, but this had a very fishy taste, something I have not come across before. The vegetables were ok, and the asparagus was good. Overall not bad, but I would chose a different entree the next time I visit (if I do in the future).
