Went there yesterday.. Hostesses acted like they hated their jobs.. Asked us how many and we said two, hostess/manager just walked away and didn't say anything... Then younger girl grabbed menus and said to follow her, she walked slower than a snail. Asked for a booth, she sat us all the way in the back corner, it was like 50 degrees in there, had to keep our coats on. Took 10 mins for server to come ask what we wanted to drink. Got garden bar, found TWO long curly hairs in my single serving of pasta salad. Took 30 mins to get our food, and then the entrees were not very good. My boyfriend said his food was actually disgusting and didn't finish it, he had the typhoon shrimp, in case you want to know.

Pretty disappointed. I know it's a chain, but for the price, I expect better food. My dish came out overspiced and ICE cold, and it was pasta, which you definitely want steaming hot. When I sent it back, it came out the same exact way, ice cold. The waitress, on the other hand, was extremely nice and willing to even give me free dessert, which I kindly declined. It was an extremely busy night, but there are no excuses for cold food twice.

Again we went here using a buy one get one free coupon. My husband was very reluctant to go again since he was not pleased the last time. This time was better though. He ordered the Boston Blue Burger. Now this was a good burger. First off, it was huge! I had a bite of it and was surprised at how heavy it was. It was full of BBQ sauce, blue cheese and onion ring pieces. It also came with never ending fries, but we chose to stop after the initial serving. I had the Chicken Florentine. It is a grilled chicken breast with spinach cream sauce, bits of artichoke and parmesan on top. It came with the garlic mashed potatoes that I love and steamed sweet peas. All of it was very good. The portions here are just right. They are not huge, but enough to fill you up and have a little left over. I highly recommend the Ruby Relaxer cocktail. It has pineapple juice, cranberry juice, Malibu Rum, Peach Schnapps and grenadine. We enjoyed it so much that we went to the store so we can make them at home. Delicious, but can be deadly.

I'm sure most people have been here, but this was my first time at this location in Mt. Pleasant, MI. From the moment I walked in the door, my friend and I were greeted with warmth and the manager (didn't get her name) guided us to the bar and proceeded to tell us about the specials. Typical yes, but had multiple conversations with staff and servers. Very friendly staff and the sampler appetizer was tasty- If I need to eat at a chain restaurant, this is one of the few. Love the new atmosphere.

I've been to Ruby Tuesday restaurants before and I've enjoyed their food and atmosphere. I can't say the same for the food at this location. Though my meal was fine, the friend I was with ordered a Cajun chicken meal that was covered with so much pepper neither of us could stand more than a bite. I would like to stress that the service was fantastic and they had no problem refunding the order, but I doubt we will be returning.

Service by the bartender was great. The food was okay. The bathroom smells like a kitty liter box.
