Very cheap lunch specials (under or equal to $5!!). Service there is very timely and always with a smile. The lady working at the counter even remembers customers and what they usually like to order, after a while. Additionally, there's a separate menu for those that can read mandarin (REALLY GOOD STUFF). Everything on the general menu is excellent; however, you cannot walk out of this restaurant without trying their dumplings! I personally prefer boiled, but fried is also very good. Best place in town for Chinese food, hands down (both american chinese and authentic).

All others Chinese restaurants pale in comparison. First Wok is the absolute best Chinese food I have ever had and the most affordably priced. When I lived in Mt. Pleasant, First Wok was a very regular part of my diet. Since I have moved away, there has been a hole in my heart that needs to be filled by food this good. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful and is cooked incredibly quickly. I highly recommend going at lunch time because the specials are super cheap for the amount of food you get (usually less than $5). My favorites are the chicken in garlic sauce and the roast pork lo mien. The garlic sauce meals are full of vegetables and have plenty of the fantastically spicy sauce. The lo mien in is super filling with a lot of noodles and it still comes with rice. I like first wok so much I created a yelp account just to review it. Seriously the best Chinese food and probably the best restaurant in Mt. Pleasant.

First wok is a treasure tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. It is delicious, fresh made food with a variety of options including an option for no MSG. General Tso is my favorite from here, and a little crab rangoon for dessert makes for a great meal. Awesome staff, excellent food, and a friendly atmosphere make this a great place to eat.

I ate here tonight for the first time and the food is great. The options are practically limitless and they're very accommodating to special requests. It's less expensive than "Isabella County's" best Chinese an the service is 10 times better. It only took 15 minutes to prepare the food for my family of 4 and we had tons of leftovers after only spending $33. This is definitely my Mount Pleasant, Michigan Chinese food restaurant from here on out.

I would definitely say this is the best "Chinese" in Mount Pleasant. Also they have really delicious crab rangoons! Perfectly crispy and with lots of filling. I judge a place by its crab rangoons so this place ranks highly with me! Also the people who work there are always super nice. Could use some more eating room inside though.

I love Chinese (and American Chinese, which is what this clearly is), but this did not work for me tonight. This was by far the greasiest Chinese I've ever had. My chest was hurting at the end. I had the Special 3 (Szechuan Triple Delight), a Roast Pork Egg Roll and a Shrimp Egg Roll. The only reason this isn't 1 star is because it's cheap.

Great food and wonderful staff. Large menu with plenty to choose from. Dining area is small with only 5 tables, so be aware if you have a large group. Take out is their specialty.

Tasty American-Chinese. Very friendly service. We enjoyed the Hunan Chicken and the Garlic Chicken. The lunch portions are very generous and come with fried rice. We were impressed by the freshness of the veggies and the quality cuts of chicken. We also had some egg rolls, which were crunchy and fresh-tasting. Good stuff!

I was very skeptical the first time I entered this place. We were planning on dining in and saw only a handful of tables. We put in our order and sat down at the only available table. The food was really inexpensive and didn't take long to cook. I cannot describe how impressed I was with this place! The food was amazing and you can't beat the price! This is really the only Chinese place in Mount Pleasant worth going to. I would suggest it for takeout just because of it's small size, but every time I've gone, there is usually at least one table open to dine in.

Who would have thought a non descript restaurant in a tiny strip mall would be so good?!! The gal at the front counter was very patient and had great suggestions. The menu is huge and extremely affordable. The food was fab and I can't wait to go back next visit to Mt Pleasant. Do stop in ...it's definitely worth it.
