It's almost a sin to go to a red lobster in San Diego; we have a lot of good and fresh eats here. However when I get to go to Michigan, oh yeah wine and dine at Red Lobster. Service was okay here, the waitress seemed not into serving us with a SMILE... people do not go into the service industry if you cannot even budges a smile... I mean come on... work at a morgue or something. It's a good thing I forgot her name... anyway food was sufficient. I got the shrimp three ways platter... I enjoyed the shrimp in the garlic buttery sauce, the most. Yes, we did get the garlicky biscuits, there are my dad's favorite!!!

I went here with my family to celebrate my little brother being home from Med school and a birthday. We had presents with us, and our waitress still didn't ask if it was a special occasion...didn't offer us anything off the menu or drinks...just didn't make us feel like she cared. All of us ordered the 4-course special...a great value and taste..which is why I gave a second star...BUT our silverware had spotting all over it. We could wipe it off easily, but it still looked unappealing. We asked for new silverware and the manager brought it over...didn't apologize or ask if the new silverware was better... The silverware was the same way with spotting. At that point, we just dealt with it. We didn't want to be 'that' table. Also, words of advice...if you want a decent tip...you need to show some interest at all. Our waitress looked like a butch and was mean mugging us it felt like...never smiled...never asked how our food tasted... I still tipped her 20%, because I'm a server...but we will stick to the other Red Lobsters. The manager just lacked interest, and I could see why they didn't have much business at the time. Sad, because we used to go here as tradition for special events..

I'm dropping my review down a star, as the past couple visits I've had here haven't been as good as they used to be. My latest order of Crab Alfredo wasn't that great. Typically it's one of my favorite dishes, but the crab was not as plentiful as usual, and the sauce seemed like it had separated or something. I'm not sure if that's possible or it was something else, but it was really off. My few trips their previously hadn't been as good either (I had some short of shrimp one time and one of the "feasts" the time before) but I don't remember as much about them to be more specific. I'm not sure why, but it just seems that it's not been as good lately. Perhaps their remodeling is throwing them off a bit.

They sure do "sea food differently". The "Olive Garden" of seafood. A great seafood restaurant for the diner that has no idea how good seafood can really be. Stuff the diner with bread so they don't realize how little of the poor quality frozen entree they actually got. Overpriced, over-hiped. Any restaurant that has to put pictures of their food on the menu should be viewed with suspicion. Epic failure.

Love this Red Lobster location. Rarely have to wait for a table, staff is super friendly and efficient. Food is great, from the biscuits (which everyone loves) to the lobster rolls I get every time, to the tossed salad, to the entrees AND dessert. Great place.

Love Red Lobster. However, portions seem to continually get smaller & prices BIGGER! I am not a big eater, yet I always leave hungry. Service @ this location is always good & restaurant is clean & well kept.

Poorly staffed tonight. Sat at the bar and got reasonably good service from a very busy bartender. Food was marginal at best. The Cesare salad and bisquits were fine. My wife had the shrimp combo ( garlic & scampi) over linguine. Tasteless and the pasta was all stuck together. I had the seaside shrimp combo ( savory, fried & garlic ) shrimp. Again, tasteless, with pasta that was over cooked. Our hotel was across the street. Probably should have checked the reviews first. Caveat emptor!!!

This place must have staffing issues in the kitchen. Last three times here the fish has been undercooked. One of those times, my waitress went into the kitchen to re - fire my undercooked Tilapia and droopy fries. Today I ordered the Grilled Garlic Shrimp and they came out still pink. Love Red Lobster but may have to find a new one.

I was so disappointed! We waited 25 minutes for our order to be taken. It took another 25 minutes for our salad to come and now after an hour of sitting down, we're still waiting for our food! Meanwhile, 3 tables of people who came in after is already got their food. They are not busy and I can't see what the problem is. Also.... our salads consisted of about 8 pieces of lettuce with a tomato and a cucumber. We got 2 pieces of bread only. I'm not excited about being my meal any longer. I just want to eat something! stay away from the red lobster in monroe. It totally sticks!
