Nothing terrible, nothing great. One person behind the bar working very hard and yelling over bar to get peoples attention and yes looks like they are closing early 1030....not close to 2am. This type of efficiancy drives customers away.

I come here all the time with my family for pizza and chicken chunks. Both are excellent. Clean and pleasant environment very suitable for kids and families. Service is always good. They have several big screen TVs however, it would not be my first choice for watching sports unless I sat at the bar.

Mugsy's is a kind of cool sports bar with huge screen TV's pool table, decent drink prices, and the food is pretty good for a bar. We had the boneless wings on special for 50 cents each... we tried the onion rings... we took a small pizza and I had a hamburger. The boneless wings were okay and they were decent size too. My hamburger was very good. The pizza was way above average for bar Pizza not in my top 10...but still pretty decent. The onion rings however were the star of the show they are the best onion rings I've had in a long time. My wife reports that they were even good cold the next day with leftovers. Think about it ...that's a lot of food for two people of course we're going to have leftovers. Service was friendly and accurate overall a pleasant experience. Next time we go I think I'm going to try the sirloin steak.

The food here is actually really good. It's a cool atmosphere with a pool table and golden tee. Music is juke box music too. Lots of tvs and friendly waitresses. Check it out.

The Friday night Cod Fish Fry is to die for. The owners, Shane and Kristen Held are super nice people and hard workers. I've known Shane for a long time, since high school. The place has a very nice atmosphere.

Had stopped for the night in this town, decided to give this place a try as it looked like our kind of place. I got the boneless wings which were very good. My girlfriend got a burger which was nothing special, meat tasted kind of low quality. Her drink was made wrong twice, she ordered a gin and tonic and was served a well vodka and tonic. She ordered a second and again specified what she wanted and the server gave her the same thing. We didn't know exactly what it was that she was served until we got the bill. Server was very incompetent, she wasn't writing anything down so she had to ask us to repeat our orders, and a couple of times even had to return to the table bc she forgot what we ha been ordered. We then played a couple games of pool, ended up leaving around midnight or a little after because we were the only customers there and they were closing up. Kind of disappointed as it said online they would be open until 2. Wouldn't recommend the place, and wouldn't return if we were ever back in Monroe, but it wasn't a bad experience.

The cod was freezer burned and over cooked. The fries were soggy and undercooked. The margarita was ice and salt. Next time put tequila in On a positive. The cole slaw and clam chowder were outstanding. This place is so hit and miss.

Went to Monroe camping and always like to try the local restaurants. This place had good food for a bar. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Large portions for the money and kid friendly.

Mugsy's has pretty good food. On different occasions, I've had BBQ chicken, ribs, and pulled pork sandwich, and they were all very good and filling. I know people that swear by their wings, but I've never had them myself. Lots of televisions to catch multiple games on, although some of the seating is in awkward places to get good viewing angles. Keep that in mind if you're going there to watch a certain game. It can seem a bit cramped when it's busy, but when it's a little less full it's got a nice atmosphere.

Good food at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and service is usually pretty fast. They always have several daily specials. Pizzas are great and so are the burgers. One of the more family friendly bars in Monroe. In-case you didn't know, there is a giant bowling alley attached to the back of Mugsy's too!

I was not happy with my experience. They did not have three of the liquors I wanted in my drink so I compromised and had flavored vodka and Malibu coconut, which ran me over ten dollars a drink. They had jus ran out of the food I wanted to order also. So once again compromised and was not satisfied. I eat out on a daily basis and will probably never go back.

We like Mugsy's very much. The place look great inside, the wait staff are the best! Burgers and pizza are very good (as is pretty much everything I have tried). French onion soup is awesome. Every time we visit with the entire family, we have a great experience.

Just went there for the first time, it was amazing all the food was great, great atmosphere really great place to go. We will be back.
