My husband and I had breakfast at Denny's this morning. Our waitress was young but energetic and attentive. The food was typical not great, not the worst. We were seated near the kitchen and wow would I hate to work at this restaurant. There was a woman in the kitchen with a seriously annoying voice dogging all the other workers and it was creating total chaos. People running around all over. I was trying to enjoy my meal and it was totally stressing ME out and I dont even work there. I saw one older waitress try to steal another younger waitresses table and they argued right in the dining room about it. That same older waitress also totally humiliated a group of 9 when they walked in the door because there were "so many" in their party. She was blatantly rude and if I had been them I would have walked out. I commend the younger waitresses for being so proffesional and having to work with this woman. Some people should really reconsider working with the public.

Horrible service, horrible food, manager complaining about his shifts while on the floor, only positive is the bathroom was maintained.

Dont try to do a take out order from this place if youre hungry and expecting to eat within the next 2-3 hours. 2 months ago i made an order for a chicken sandwich and some fries. The lady told me 50min. (First of all in 50min. I could go to the store buy a pack of chicken breast and all the trimmings come home and cook it myself in less than 50min.) So 45min. Goes by and i show up. (I really wanted that chicken sandwich) No one was at the door to greet me until 10 min. Later. Then the manager told me it was going to be 20 more minutes. I waited 30 min. Then left without my food and steam coming out of my ears. I was fired up. I said I would never eat there again. So here again today, I decide I want a chicken sandwich from Dennys. Im thinking ok maybe it was a fluke that one day, everyone has an off day. So i called to place a carry out order and was placed on hold for 10min. After that i hung up deciding that the 10 min. Hold was a sign of things to come. When i drove by there heading to the chinese place i ordered from instead, i literally counted 9 cars in the parking lot. That has to be staff and customers combined. Unless of course the staff car pools which is highly unlikely being that the staff there doesnt seem friendly enough to sit in the same car as anyone else. All in all the place has the absolute worse carry out service ive ever seen and i wouldnt recommend this place to even my enemies.

Been here to eat several times and I've never had a disappointing experience. I ordered 2 bacon grandslam burgers for carry out last night and I was upset because my bottom bun was so wet it fell apart, the other one we ordered wasn't like that. These are very hard to eat to begin with. I took a fork to it and it tasted great! I am rating a 3 star because I had to call twice to get anyone to answer the phone and because you can always taste a difference between corporate restaurant's food as opposed to a neighborhood breakfast joint. I have had a toss up between good and bad service but the food never disappoints a grumbling belly.

I thought that the wait times were excessive both with getting seated and recieving our food, and the place didn't even look crowded. The floor looked filthy to me and the overall appearance seemed worn out. I didn't find the overall value to be very good at all.

My husband and I went to the Big Gig in Monroe last night, and wanted a burger afterward. We ended up at Denny's. We were seated right away, we both ordered a "build your own burger" with some toppings. It was pretty crowded, and we were sitting there talking when we noticed that people that came in after us were served before we were. Then another table that came in after us got served. We asked our server if it was going to be much longer, if it was we'd like to just pay for our drinks and leave. He said our order was coming up next. Long story short, we waited over 45 minutes for a couple of burgers and seasoned fries. When they finally came, they were ok except for the fact that the buns were ice cold, although they had grill marks on them. My burger was WAY overcooked, but I certainly wasn't going to send it back. To his credit, our server was very apologetic for our wait, and offered us a free dessert to make up for our inconvenience. I would say we're not going to go back, but on a Saturday night in Monroe, it seems to be the only game in town.

This Denny's holds it down! Prompt service and perfect attention paid to the details of our order. The coffee was perhaps the best Denny's coffee I've ever had. My girlfriend and I were passing through and just needed a good breakfast after a long wedding weekend and this was perfect! Friendly staff as well!

Went in around 11am this morning. Place was not very busy at all. Hostess provided water and greeting very quickly. Waitress stated "I'll be with you in a minute" and we never saw her again for ten minutes. After another ten or so minutes, we finally placed our order. We never saw our waitress again. After one hour and ten minutes with still no food or waitress, we walked out. (Waitress only visited the other two occupied tables at the time only once. I will never visit that Denny's again. I don't understand it-they had ample wait staff running around all over the place, but never stopping at or bringing any food to any tables. Very stressful environment especially hearing "Commin' through' every minute or two from the kitchen staging area. In fact, the last time we visited that Dennys about two years ago, we had EXACTLY the same experience. Denny's Monroe does not get a third chance with us.
