Tin Lizzie's is definitely a "must do" if you are in the area. We live in Chicago (where the bar is set pretty high), and we were really impressed by the friendly staff, extensive menu and overall attention to quality and detail. The restaurant itself is an amazing collection of antique car themes - old pictures of celebrities with their cars, actual parts of old cars refurbished and hung - the tail lights even light up! We especially love the Hub Cap Mushroom appetizer - juicy and super tasty with a delicious light breading, deep fried to perfection - YUM! I've had the Mediterranean Salad several times and love how fresh the mixed greens and other veggies are. The salad dressing tastes like it was just made in the kitchen and the warm pita bread completes it. They serve pop in a bottle - very interesting flavors. Try the spicy ginger. You definitely need to top off your meal with a Root Beer from the old fashioned soda bar. You even get a little extra side of root beer - they've thought of everything. We look forward to eating there again on our next trip to MI. Nowhere in the area even comes close!

Amazing place for breakfast! We stayed in Mio overnight and decided to try breakfast before heading home. We are so glad we visited this unassuming place. Staff was wonderful, food was even better. Their bread is out of this world. You have to try the raisin bread! We ended up taking a loaf home.

Just ok. The atmosphere is nice, the nostalgic old school diner feel is pretty neat.... Service was good... But the food not so much :/ I had a coney dog and it was just "alright"..... I dont know what kind of hot dogs they were using (this was last year that I was in) but they weren't that good..... they did have some strange bottled pop that we tried.... Terrible.... But still fun to try something new..... 3stars.... Probably won't be back.

Very cute! Obviously a Detroit Motor theme and the food was good, in addition to the mammoth dessert that we had to split. Can't beat it in that Northern location.
