Have been coming here recently as we moved to Milford area and it is everything good you would expect from a local Coney Island diner. Service is top notch and the meals I have tried has been great. You trust it has a good reputation when u see a wide mix of clientele---elderly, young families , and teenagers.

I don't always eat breakfast, but when I do, I try to do it at Dimitri's. The cooks are total experts. Hash browns are just the right kind of crispy, "no green peppers" is respected, and their sausage gravy is the most flavorful I've had anywhere. What's keeping this from five stars: The coffee is horrendous, and almost all of the seating is booths or the bar. I really prefer tables and chairs.

Dimitri's used to be my favorite place in Milford to get breakfast, however, in recent years I feel it has deteriorated a little bit. About 5 years ago I would have given it a solid 4 stars no problem, but these days I'd say the service as well as the taste of the food has gone down a little bit. For breakfast, everything from made with batter is pretty tasty (pancakes, waffles etc), but it's pretty hard to screw that kind of thing up. I don't really eat eggs, so I can't say much about omelettes. I'd request your bacon well done, otherwise it is usually really chewy. If you're there for lunch, I'd recommend the chicken fingers pita! It's amazing! Just make sure they go light on the mayo, otherwise it can be a little bit on the overkill side. They also tend to have pretty darn good milk shakes :). If you're going for a coney island, I'd aim for Leo's in Milford.

Dimitri's is nothing fancy by any means but the food is fantastic. If you're looking for breakfast at any time of the day, this is your place to go! Their gyros are also really good but I prefer breakfast when I visit. The restaurant (semi-recently) expanded and has more seating now so large groups are welcome too!

Was visiting friends in the area and wanted the very best local fare. Stopped into Demitri's and had an terrific lunch (nothing fancy but just what we were looking for). We started with Saganaki (greek cheese flaming), then feasted on some of the best Gyro's we have ever had along with a Greek Salad (the dressing was homemade and delicious). Not only was the food tasty and fresh, the service was great and the place was clean!! Overall a good value. Will definitely be back.
