Went there for breakfast, it's definitely smaller so seating is limited. Nice comfortable atmosphere and very clean. I had the Turkey Chorizo Frittata which was very good. They used turkey chorizo from a local turkey farm. I love when businesses support local. Their bread is home made and was so good I had to finish my toast. Great breakfast stop!

Great food. Great service. Best spot for a relaxed lunch in the middle of town. I will be back.

Gem in the rough. Nice small place that serves a great breakfast. Service was done with a smile and some personality.

For breakfast this place rocks my rock-a-lock socks. Sometimes it gets a little packed because it is SO SMALL and the tables are a bit wobbly, and it can get loud; but as far as breakfast, this place is the best in any direction for 20 miles. The breakfast is on par with Wolfgangs, the menu is simple but it is delicious and creative. The place has a New Orleans feel motif and approach to it, hence the name, and although it seems out of place in Middleville it is the perfect place with a great little view of our tiny little downtown. It's worth the drive down from GR if you are looking for something different and a nice drive down Whitneyville Rd, or it is perfect if you are just another local. They also have a nice baked goods selection. All their breads and muffins are homemade.

Honestly I'm blown away that this place is in Middleville. It is a small little place right on Main Street. My only dislike so far has been the hours, they are usually only open until 3. However if you can get in there you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere is New Orleans themed, with lots of fun things to see all around. The staff alway extremely helpful and will treat you as if you're a regular even on your first visit. The food amazing. The gumbo, Po'Boy and the sweets. There has been nothing that I haven't tried that I wouldn't get again. If you are looking to try something out of the ordinary this is the place to go.

This is my 4th or 5th time in The Big Easy, it is a must stop when I come home to Middleville. I took my mom to lunch today and the service was so poor. Besides the two of us there were few others, the waitress was so busy talking to her friends we both had to ask for drink refills, our plates sat on the table for ten minutes, no thanks for coming when we left. Also the waitress was so loud every time she talked we had to stop our conversation. So sad that my favorite hometown place is no this bad.

You can't miss out on this sweet little gem! The wait staff is extremely friendly. All of the food is homemade with love. We watched them cook our entire breakfast from our table. Everything is homemade, did I mention that? Pastries are amazing. I could go on all day, just go try it out!

I'm a foodie. I'm especially hard on breakfast places, so to give this place 5 stars says a lot coming from me. The atmosphere is cute, and confy. The staff is super-friendly, and the owner asked my name the first time I went in there. She called me by my name every time I returned. The food is brilliant. Fresh, cooked properly, and the bread (toast) will knock your socks off.' Hashbrowns!!! REAL SHREADED HASHBROWNS were cooked to perfection, and not some mushy crap. This place could easily charge more for the food, and people would gladly pay it. I am a regular here now, and drive from Hastings (Past several breakfast places) just to dine here. This one is guranteed to satisfy.

Wow! Everything is homemade. Yum. Delish. Hands down, Middleville's hot spot for an amazing brunch. If you ever find yourself passing through this hotbed of activity, swing on down to the Big Easy, have yourself a buttery croissant, and watch out for the crocodile.

Great little breakfast/lunch place in a nice little town. The staff is friendly, the dining and kitchen area are clean, and the food is fantastic. They put a little to much butter on the toast but that was my only complaint. If you're looking for a good breakfast place or just a place to get a cup of coffee with friends this is your palace.

This place has a fantastically friendly staff, great sandwiches (our turkey w/smoked mozzarella on grilled vegetable bread was amazing!!) and the best coffee around. Our server, Gwen, was lovely and professionally accommodating setting up a table for my family outdoors. We had a wonderful brunch. Highly recommended!!!
