Thanks to all of Brian S.'s reviews, I made a quick edit to my GTFO Detroit Farewell Food Bucketlist, and stopped by Jack's while down in that godforsaken neighborhood on another errand. It was easy to find, there's a good parking lot, and the woman behind the counter's nice. A buck or so for a cherry turnover, which kept my hunger at bay until dinner. If you live in this neighborhood, you should be walking/driving here for your baked goods. Smells, looks, and tastes great. They accept credit cards (I think it's a $5 minimum).

Made a quick stop in the other day... Pizza rolls still rocking good, tried a meatball sub, pretty tasty...&&&& I just can't leave w/out a couple of those most decadent desert dish... I never say it correct, so spelling it, is totally out!! But, I surely enjoy eating it!! It's name starts with a C... It's like..aumm!! Cartouchish??? It's like a giant fresh deeper fried sugar donut... &&& it's filled w/ the creamy ricotta cannoli & mini chocolate chip filling! Yes, I do believe that they have these in heaven!

This is a little Italian spot on Allen road, If you drive too fast, you'll miss it - it's that small..... but they have wonderful apricot kifli, walnut too, and all the fattening little things, that I really should avoid...but sometimes the car just steers itself there! Their pepperoni rolls are good too.. worth a stop!

I was disappointed when I saw how small this place was. It was almost too small to the point of asking, "What's the point?" They did not have much selection. Apple struddel was what I had. It was good but I was hoping for cherry, which they did not have. The place came off as dark and old which is sort of unappealing when they are serving food. I would not return.

Best pepperoni rolls ever.the bread is so soft and chewy and they load it with spicy pepperoni and cheese.strawberry strudel is light and crispy.everything here is great

Delicious and cheap little bakery. Their pizza rolls here are to die for. The bread is light and fluffy, and feels like biting into a cloud at first. Then you hit the pocket of melted cheese and greasy pepperoni. Its one of those guilty pleasure train accidents that you want to avoid, but come at you like a delicious unavoidable mess. I also got a deep fried, sugar coated roll packed with cannoli filling that sent me to another level of diabeetus heaven. If you're on a diet, avoid this place, but if you want to have a moment of culinary clarity in your life, then you've found the spot!
