Very limited vegetarian selection. The food was just not good.

Food quality is okay, restaturant needs a definite atmosphere upgrade prices for the decor and quality food are excessive...would not reccomend for a date but a a ood place for a quick bite by the water

Excellent food and service. Right on the water which is nice during the summer. Would highly recommend it!

Fast, friendly service. We enjoyed the fried pickles and the New England clam chowder but the real hit was the fresh perch from Lake Erie. Even the coleslaw and fries were great! We will be back for sure!

The four diners had the potstickers, chicken flatbread, mussels (each around $9-$10), as well as a grilled chicken salad and fish and chips. Place was busy and all dishes arrived luke warm. Good took 1.5 hours. Servers ignored several requests for updates and also ignored the party when requesting the check at the end.

The best part of this restaurant is the view. The food is decent, but the service is slow. It's nice to eat on the water and watch the ships go by. If you're in a hurry though this is not the place to go. They need to work on the service a little bit. Maybe the servers should talk a little less and work a little more. Will I go back? Yes and hopefully the service will be faster!

Stopped here for dinner, got a buoy burger! Not the greatest burger I've ever had but it was pretty darn good nonetheless! Food came quickly and service was very good. My only complaint was it was very loud but we sat near the bar so no biggie.

Ok, everyone knows you come here for the view of the boats, the cool nautical ambiance, and the killer deck. As has also been mentioned, the service ranked on the sub-par to so-so status: hands down, the worst part of the place. Recently though, say in the last six months, that has started to change a bit, at least for us. They have some younger staff that have picked it up (maybe they've been reading the reviews on YELP?), particularly server Haley and a couple of the bartenders. Hopefully this trend continues. That said, the food has always been decent: not knock your socks off, but good. Always fans of their appetizers, and have often made whole meals of them. The channel chips have always rocked, I'm a big fan of the potstickers and the sauce the use, and their calamari are also a fav. All their burgers are good....mushroom and swiss are the best. The higher end is, IMHO adequate but not stellar for what your pay for. It's always a fav for us to take out of towers to, and will continue to be.

We visit the Buoy often. Good food, good drinks, great staff, and excellent view of the Seaway! It is off the main path, but easy to find.

A little pricey, the food was ok. Sitting on the outside patio is very nice and a great view. I would go back if in the area to try something else on the menu. I had the Mediterranean salad with blackened chicken and it was ok nothing fancy. Could have used a little more peppers and the chicken was a little rubbery.

I have been coming here on and off, mostly off for 20 years. In the past the menu selection and food quality never impressed me. Like a bar trying to be a restaurant. I have recently started going back. The menu seem better and the food seems to have come up a notch. Not awesome but decent. Biggest complaint is the same as everyone else. Service is mind numbingly slow. Don't expect a fast lunch if on a time constraint.

Looking out at the river is the best part of this restaurant - amazing atmosphere. You can pretty much see the river from anywhere in the restaurant, as far as I know. This is because it is split into two levels (mildly like a theater). The food is pretty much standard short-order American. Prices were pretty much standard ($6-$8 for an average meal). What you see is pretty much what you get. I've been here twice, and both times I though that the food was pretty good. It's tough to beat good short-order American with an excellent view of ships floating down the river (and a view of Canada too!)

What a great place for dinner! I was trying to find a non-chain restaurant in the area and was frustrated with the lack of options. I was going to settle for a divey bar when a friend suggested we meet here. We started with spinach dip and we each had a fish dinner--whitefish for her and lake perch for me. Delicious! I would give them five stars but they have a serious lack of Michigan beer available. Oberon on tap (in December?!) and nothing in bottle. C'mon man!

Great food. The service has always been great except for today. My waiter asked the person I was with if he wanted a refill for his drink and mine was just as empty. He didn't even ask when the food was brought out and my cup was empty. I even saw him look at my empty cup. I always leave tips. Always. Not so much this time. Enjoy your 23 cents.

Great place to take a client to lunch. It was casual, relaxed and right on the water. I had a great cuban sandwich. My customer had fish and chips and seemed very pleased with it. The menu had enough variety on it to please just about anyone. I'd like to go back in the summer and sit on the patio. I also thought it was reasonably priced $7.99 for my sandwich and it included coleslaw.

Good view if the Saint Clair river. The hambergers are very good. I had a wet burrito which was ok. The service was slow today but that is not normal for them. It is a very small place. But the staff is friendly. Prices are good too. It is kinda tucked away from the main drag. We go there 2 or 3 times a year. I love seeing the ships ( BFB)on the river from the deck in the warmer weather.

Great atmosphere and good food but the men's bathroom is appalling. The urinal doesn't flush and it's looks nasty. No paper towel and the air dryer didn't work. I would give it a higher rating except this bathroom situation is unacceptable

Caprese platter was so delicious, crab cakes outstanding and Guiness on tap! 70th birthday party, had lively and lovely time! Thanks to the patience of an incredible young waiter, Jordan! Owner was on hand and she took extra care of our crowd. Champagne times were had... I look forward to coming back frequently to enjoy the lakefront with large freighters and all types of lake action as a backdrop for a wonderful time and great meal.

Calamari was the best I ever had! All the other food... I could have made at home. Rather plain, but great spot along the water. Think I will try other places before going back again.
