Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This place is fabulous! Probably some of the best Sweet and Sour Chicken I've had in a long time! We usually get takeout but last night hubby and I went and sat down and the service was impeccable! Good service, good food and just all around a great place to go!

Good portions but nothing spectacular about flavors. The egg rolls & soup are really good. I would recommend lunch (as long as you eat in) bc it comes with soup & an egg roll for around $6. Also, they're pretty chincy when it comes to the "extras" - you have to ask for utensils for take out & the fortune cookies are extra.

Great Place and best Chinese food in the area. Owners are very friendly and the staff is courteous. I recommend the Almond Chicken and the Sweet & Sour Chicken with Wonton Soup and the eggrolls are the best..

The food was awful! We ordered 3 dinners & in one of our dinners was a piece of steel wool from one of their cleaning utensils- when we told them about it, they acted like it was no big! Didn't even apologize! Smh

I had lunch here the other day. For around 6 bucks I enjoyed an egg roll, choice of soup and my choice of entree (I had the Steak Kow). I also ordered an additional soup (the Hot & Sour) because I always like to try that kind of soup whenever I can (because EVERYONE seems to make it a bit different). Well... the soup was excellent (both the Hot/Sour and the Won Ton). The egg roll was great, and my Steak Kow dish was just fine as well. I guess I don't quite understand why so many people in Marysville tend to prefer the "Egg Roll Inn" over this place. The food here is good (certain items even excellent), the price seems VERY reasonable (I mean, can you beat 6 bucks for entree, soup and egg roll)?? And, the decor of the place is 100 TIMES better than over at the Egg Roll Inn (which is just a hole-in-the-wall kind of place). I've also eaten at the Egg Roll Inn (quite a few times, in fact)... and the food there is just fine, but given that the food at China Lite is quite good as well (and, all for a good price), I know that "I" will be going back again soon... So, I say this... "PEOPLE OF MARYSVILLE... TRY GIVING THIS PLACE ANOTHER CHANCE"... and see what you think. I think they do a good job, maybe you will too...

We ordered three things for take out. All of them were terrible. 1) Hunan Shrimp. This was the best of the three dishes. BARELY spicy. A disgrace to Hunan. 2) General Tso's chicken. The only good thing was the generous amount of chicken given. 3) Buddha's Delight. Not only did this not have any mandarin or szechuan sauce as the menu said (we ordered extra spicy szechaun), it also had NO flavor. None. As in, they managed to actually REMOVE flavor from the vegetables. We wound up throwing it away. Also, we got no fortune cookies or almond cookies. And no chopsticks. WTF kind of chinese place doesn't give you chopsticks? Do yourself a favor and go to Egg Roll Inn. Our family has been eating there for years and very rarely get a bad dish.
