Awesome food! Really clean restaurant. Condiment shelf was spotless and the condiments were perfectly aligned. Someone pays attention to detail. Management was pleasantly professional and friendly! We enjoyed our vegetarian burger with crispy Texas tooth picks they called them, deep fried onions and jalapeños. I'd definitely go back.

The kids loved this place. The decorations are really cool. They have cheap margaritas. I had the chili which I thought was really good.

After a rocky start, our group of 8 had a good time here. It was an end of term, knitting club gathering. There were milkshakes, cheese curds and other un-healthy stuff. My turkey burger was cold, but cheese curds were tasty. I didn't need them to fix it or want a new one, my friend took me to the dining cafe on campus prior to coming here. She has extra dining dollars to use up. I wasn't too hungry, I just decided to have dessert. Cheese curds and a brownie sundae, dinner of champions! This has been a gluttony weekend, good thing I am heading home tomorrow evening. The restaurant was super nice about it and I only had to pay for my beverage.

Although the food was good, the service was extremely slow. Our waitress took 20 minutes before asking for our order. In fact, the hostess came over to ask what we wanted to drink after five minutes had passed. After we ate our meal, we waited for our check, which took a long time to get as well.

This was my first time in Marquette, my boyfriend went to school here and so we made a stop while in Detroit. We looked around for some time before coming tot his place. They have that classic feel with nice memorabilia, comfortable seating and friendly staff. The food is phenomenal, this is where I first met and fell in love with FRICKLES!!!!! Life hasn't been the same since!!!! I have never seen or heard of fried pickles but after trying it, i LOVED it!!!! The food itself was great and came out in a timely manner. They have a nice bar that's good to go hang out with friends or sit in the common area and get a burger with the family or take the kids and get one of the savory shakes that they offer. A plus was the red car in the front window. The decor made it feel warm and cozy. They have a small parking lot but you will never have trouble finding a spot. It's not the most convenient of locations, however, you won't have any issues getting in or out. In his opinion "always worth the stop." Overall, I would go back if I'm ever in this part of town again.

I was worried this would be like a Johnny rockets, but it wasn't it was a lot better. I had the avocado ranch burger it was good, tasted fresh and wasn't too greasy. My mom had chili and she said it was good. Seemed like had a lot of local craft beer. We were there Sunday afternoon in summer, so it wasn't crowded but seems like it would be a fun place.

Went for an early lunch on a Fri about 1130. Surprisingly it was not very busy. Service was very quick, not overly friendly just so so. Had an ice tea and jalapeno burger with fries. Good size portion, didn't think the jalapenos were hot at all, almost like a banana pepper. Burger was good, as were the fries (very good) the ice tea had an odd taste, needed to add sugar to mask it, which I usually don't as it's an unsweetened ice tea. Got in and out quick easy. The decor is busy, typical of that trendy style of being an old time classic burger place.

The food here wasn't horrible, but nothing special. I probably wouldn't go back. We went to this place because we were told they served fresh whitefish. The menu even said "Fresh Lake Superior Whitefish!!" However, after asking the waitress(whom didn't know the answer to most of our questions, but was pleasant and happy to find out for us) we discovered the fresh lake superior whitefish was actually frozen. We did eventually find out they did have two fresh fried fish specials, but were out of the whitefish option by the time we got there at 8 PM. The fajitas we got had huge portions. Nothing fancy, rice from a bag, chicken, peppers, onions and lots of cheese/rice/tomatoes. Two people at our table ordered fajitas with guacamole, but were charged $.50 for guac on one, $1.00 on the other. Additionally, we ordered a cup of soup with our meal. The menu stated "Add a cup of soup or salad for $1.99" next to the dinner meals. We were charged $3.75 for the soup, then told the waitress it was charged incorrectly. She spoke with her manager and they decided that it didn't actually mean you could add soup for $1.99; it meant you could replace one of your sides for $1.99. We showed them the wording on the menu and they chose still not to take the charge off. It's not a lot of money, but they should change their menu to more accurately reflect what they offer and how much it costs.

Not bad. Pretty good service. Food came fairly quick. Waiter was attentive. Has a cool atmosphere. Had the steak and shrimp. It was done correctly and pretty damn tasty too! Give it a try, you'll be satisfied.

Hell yes. $3 margaritas tonight. Now THAT'S sexy. I had their patty melt, they put a different kinda sauce on it for a bit of a twist. Still VERY good. Waitress was great, very attentive and fun. My girl friend had their fish and chips. Since it was Friday, it was unlimited fish. We fed 3 people for under $30. That included 3 meals, 2 alcoholic beverages and a soft drink. You must GO, GO, GO! :)

Fast, friendly service. That was the only positive part of the dining experience. I ordered the grilled whitefish dinner for 15.99 and I substituted a salad for the potatoes for an additional 1.99. The whitefish was just that - FISHY. I've never eaten whitefish before (what is it exactly?), but the underside was grey and mushy. I couldn't even finish the main dish! I only was able to stomach about 1/3. Lettuce salad came first, as I requested. HUGE portion of MONSTER-sized iceberg lettuce pieces that I could barely fit into my mouth. Way too much cheese and only a tiny portion of weirdly spiced (red pepper?) blue cheese dressing. I only consumed half of that. I forgot one last tidbit that saved me from going to a fast-food restaurant for sustenance; the broccoli was PERFECTLY steamed, lightly salted and VERY hot. OK, I lied, one more positive - the Dr. Pepper was pretty good. This was the only thing that saved me from giving it a 1-star because the waitress didn't charge me for the pop (I'm assuming since I didn't eat much of the meal). My guess is that the restaurant's management is inexperienced.

We had salmon, fish and chips and the biggest Oreo ice cream dessert I've ever seen. Holiday week, busy, but still got right in. Great food, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Service was average and salmon and fish portions smaller since we ate here about a year ago. Try it!

Hudson's is a good restaurant with average food. A great place if you love all the crap on the walls. The classic flavor infused Cokes are pretty good, but the prices are only alright given the quality but the portions are decent.

Came to Marquette for a wedding in Jan '09 and stayed at the Comfort Suites. Went to Hudson's for dinner the first night and had a good time. You get 10% off your check if you show your room key, and you can charge the bill to your room. The food is along the lines of a TGIF (not on the healthy side), but tastes better. The homemade hot chips were yummy. The BBQ bacon cheese chicken sandwich with onion rings was good too, and we all loved the sour cream fries (sour cream and onion flavored fries). But the BEST are the mini desserts. For a couple bucks, you can get mini versions of their desserts... the perfect portion. We had brownie sundaes, but will probably go back for the fondue (and root beer on tap). Skip the buffalo wings. They were a bready mess. Oh, and EVERYONE is friendly. Crazy friendly. Brady was the sweetest waiter. I'd go back just for him.
