This place was great! The southwestern burger was delicious, and sweet potato fries with maple dip was very tasty and unique. I would highly recommend it!

Great breakfast, omelets big enough for 2 meals. Noisy but not sure how to solve that problem, been thar way forever.

Coco's has got the right location, the right menu, and the right atmosphere; now they just have to tighten up the service and follow through on EVERY dish. I had a dish for lunch that was not the greatest, curry chicken sandwhich, but everyone else loved theirs. Service was slow and staff seemed to be somewhat rushed during a relatively slow lunch hour. Probably just an experience thing. They have a nice outdoor patio and a great location right near Presque Isle Park!

Loved it! We ate fabulous burgers and sweet potato fries but the healthier things were there, too. Four great sounding soups & countless cakes to taste the next time we visit along with the potential of having a drink or ordering food for carry-out. The staff was friendly and helpful...only complaint, it was too good so we ate it all!

Coco's has great Supper menu, but the desserts are awesome!! The death by chocolate is what I suggest!

Reading the reviews I assume they are pretty old. Whatever this place once was, I will assure you it isn't now. The menu is a burger joint. There is no elegant or fancy meals at a reasonable price as some reviews have suggested. We have been there a few times now, and if you want food go somewhere else. The last time was the last straw. with 3 other tables in the dinning room my wife and 3 children had to wait over an hour to get our food. I understand this might have been because they booked a larger group of people on their outside deck (the waitress said a 20 top just was served and we would be next) but basically that is like saying we can't get 10 tables of food out and plated and served within an hour. I can not see any company staying in business that can not serve over 10 tables per hour. Lets not concentrate on what might of been a rare occasion event and look at the food. My wife's dish was a quiche that cost 12 bucks for 1/4 of an 8 inch round of quiche. I would have taken a photo to post but my camera phone isn't a magnification device that Nasa might use to look for interstellar life. In chef terms, my wife just paid 12 bucks for a 2 egg omelette. The service was fine. Our waitress made many attempts to make sure we enjoyed sitting with our water glasses for over an hour while our 6,3, and 1 year old children learned new ways to bargain their continued good behavior for eventual rewards. The establishment was absolutely filled with flies. That could have been a rare occasion also but the temperature inside the dining room was over 80 degrees so I am pretty sure that flies love the combination of spilled food and tropical height. The one wall mounted A/C unit from the mid 1990's was waiving a white flag and giving its all to stay alive but it wasn't enough to cool a 200 sq foot room let alone a 1800 sq foot dining area and bar. Overall, We won't be back and would tell anyone to spend a dollar in this town to 'families' that care about our community, the food they serve and the people they attempt to extract a living from.

Love this place! Best burger in town! And don't forget dessert...best in town as well, and it's great to stop in for the live music! And in the summer months the beach is right across the road. If you've tried cocos in the past...it's all new now...so give them a try!

I used Coco's for my wedding in the Ishpeming area. We utilized appetizers and bartending service. They knocked it out of the park. Planning everything was very casual, nothing was pushed on us. At the wedding, every appetizer turned out perfectly, the bar staff was quick to fill a drink and I even saw the Coco's team cleaning up napkins that people had dropped. To me, that is really going above and beyond.

Disappointed this time. Restaurant was terribly noisy. Food was substandard and service was very slow. A number of us didn't get our entire meal. I was served a fish filet with nothing else on the plate. Never got my potato. My husband had the fish fry and his fish was raw and there was liquid all over his plate

The Shores - now closed and Coco's has generously taken its place. Coco's are a bigger version of Gopher's cafe, a place I would love to stop in for Chicken-Artichoke soup and a piece of pie. Now, they have their own restaurant where they can better seat their fans and provide affordable more gourmet selections. I had the Chicken Ashley, which was pretty delicious. But my husband had rasberry glazed salmon that was most spectacular. Love that it's affordable, fancier dishes than your regular place, and tasty!

Fish fry Friday!! Prices were a bit high for the food here in my opinion. Like hello, 21 bucks for a small slice of salmon, a tiny overcooked potato, some veggies and a side salad... Come on folks. I ordered the fish fry Friday perch which was 2 small filets, a little container of cole slaw, fries (terrible) or baked potato (tiny - overcooked *husband got it) and a hard as a rock dinner roll. My dinner was $12.95, the fish was good though thank goodness, the batter was light and the fish white and flakey. I did find quite a few bones though so beware. Husband ordered the cod, $10.95, which was rather on the dark side and 2 TINY little filets. Breading on his was more of a beer batter and quite greasy. He's a big eater, this did not cut it portion wise. Ended up sharing a piece of my small filet. The desserts looked really good but again very small and for 5 bucks we took a pass. Will not return to Coco's. Unimpressed and over priced.

Very pleasant establishment right near a park and across from the bay long path. We bones in from the visitor lodge at the edge of town. I must say, everything was extremely enjoyable; staff was smiling and attentive, food was prepared fresh and with quality tasting ingredients, decor was tastefully done and not over bearing. All in all I would say this place is a definite solid must stop in for anyone.

$20 for a small plate of pesto pasta with chicken. The pesto was bland. My wife said her sandwich was dry. For the price, especially in Marquette, I expect much better.

A 45 minute wait for food after ordering (on a not busy day) produced corned beef hash that looked and tasted like it came from a can that reads "Hormel" No thanks. The server didn't bring silverware after being asked. TWICE. Such a shame. The location is so good, and they've got a chance to produce some actual food. Rumor is it's for sale. Let's hope that's true, and someone with some vision and conviction picks it up. Could be a goldmine.

We dined here at the suggestion of my Wife's Cousin who resides in Marquette. Turned out to be a poor choice (or perhaps an off day). I had the spinach quice. Tiny, tiny slice of stuff that had a texture that made me think it was leftover and 'nuked'. None of us thought the food was very good and the service was not a warm & friendly experience. My advice is, "Coco's is a no-no."

It's a fine establishment. Not a fancy night out place, though it wants to be. Not too sure about all the southwest influence in the Decor considering its a burger joint.

Awesome breakfast. Service could have been more attentive.
