Second time we have been here. Both times we waited over an hour for our food. Said they were short staffed both times. One of those times part of the food came in a to go box because everyone else at our table was done eating. Won't be back.

I am hesitant to even give 1 star but the wait staff was apologetic for the terrible food experience. Ordered a $10 burger that was no bigger than a slider on a normal size bun! No exadration! They told me there was nothing they could do, the burgers were "pre-sized" literally a 3 oz patty! they then still charged me for a "side of fries" despite my dissatisfaction. Bad move! Also the only place I've been to in the U.P. or northern WI (for that matter) that charges for a snit (side car) of beer with a bloody mary. Again staff was nice and friendly (yet still had to be asked 2-3 times for things ordered off the bat) but the food was terrible and over-priced! Unless you are ordering pizza for delivery, stay away from Aubrees!

My girlfriend and I came in on a Sunday to watch some football, have a few drinks, and eat some pizza. The restaurant was very clean, the food was delicious and came out fast. I had a Bloody Mary which was very good for $5. The server however, was quite rude. We had a full pizza, half full drinks and half of our appetizer still left, and she wanted us out of there. After only 30 minutes into our meal, it seemed like we were on some sort of time clock. The pressure to leave continued until we actually left. It felt quite strange. Amount spent including tip: $56.00 Food was great, drinks were good, service was odd.

I met with a group of friends here for dinner. The food wasn't too bad but not great. My partner had a pizza and I opted for a burger. The waitress was air headed and couldn't seem to remember any of our groups details. For example, we wanted our salads brought out with dinner and told her that, but she brought them out before the meal. I ordered my burger medium and it came out rare. All these detail were lost on her. It was not busy, so I don't know if she was having a bad day or what. Other than the constant screw ups, the place is clean and the menu has many choices. I am not sure if I would choose to go back. However, if my group of friends wanted to go, I would go. It isn't horrible, bit it wasn't stellar either. Meh.

The service was good. The mojito was even better but as far as my meal, I think they could work on presentation. My shaved Brussels sprout salad looked Iike it was poured out a bag and dressing dropped on top. The chicken breast that was on top was the texture of shoe leather. If you are in Marquette there are far better choices to eat at

Wow, just wow. They have the best mac and cheese in the world (and that's from my extremely picky wife) fantastic fish tacos (pineapple and jalapeños, genius! ) and the best pizza, a true gem, must visit!

Stopped here for lunch on our way back home from Copper Harbor. Had a wonderful lunch. The beef barley soup was delicious and our salads, the Michigan harvest salad and the shaved brussel sprout, were fresh and tasty. Their lunch pizza buffet looked good too. Will definitely come back.

It was OK. The boyfriend and myself didn't feel like making dinner the night we went so we decided to go for a quick bite. Since we just recently moved to the area we wanted to try something that we hadn't tried yet. SO we went to Aubree's thinking it would be good and fast. (It's an italian pizza place, right? How could you go wrong with that?) A distracted hostess was going to set us next to a huge family table - which is when I asked if we could go sit in the entirely empty room to the side - she obliged. We ordered two tall beers from their craft beer selections to start. We waited AT LEAST ten minutes for our beers to arrive. This was disappointing because we had both had a long day and wanted to relax with a beer before ordering or eating. Once she finally delivered our beers I ordered the mild buffalo wings and my partner ordered the steak sandwich with french fries (or something like that). Our food took just as long as our drinks did. The chicken wings were mediocre but I didn't complain and I had a bite of the steak sandwich which was also mediocre - he seemed pleased with it. All-in-all it wasn't a poor experience or anything I guess I was just kind of disappointed. I probably won't be going back here very often while living in Marquette. If I do come here again - I will probably try the pizza because I see that they have good reviews for that.

Always out of something from their menu. Great food when they have it in stock. Great staff and atmosphere. If they could keep their inventory in check, this would be one of the best places in the area.

Our family was in the UP from Ohio and came to Marquette BMX for the evening. We wanted a quick sit down dinner and got excellent meals! My husband and son had burgers and fries. My daughter got a huge fresh Cobb salad. I got the Tuscan specialty personal pizza. We all loved our food and will definitely come back if we're ever in Marquette again!

Very good pizza. What more can I say? Definitely my favorite of the pizza joints in Marquette. The crust is especially tasty, they do a good crunchy/soft crust.

It was good -- several years ago. My Husband and I split a Mighty Meat pizza and an order of Ultimate Feta bread, our Daughter ordered a personal pepperoni pizza. In the past, we have ordered the same meal and thoroughly enjoyed it... this time? We had more crust than anything. Pizza tasted burnt, but it wasn't. Lacked toppings. Ultimate Feta bread? Not so ultimate. It's like Aubree's said, "We hope you remember how good we were -- because we're counting on that." We asked for the draft beer list and my Husband ordered a PBR (don't ask). Since there is NO menu for drinks, we had no idea about prices. My local draft beer was $6 and so was his PBR. What a rip-off! We spent $50 on 2 beers, one pizza, one bread and one child's meal. Wow. NOT WORTH IT. We used to enjoy the food here -- now, we'll just go to Little Caesars for the same quality. Yuck.

This is the best pizza place I've ever had the pleasure of visiting! There are so many different kinds of pizzas to choose from, and everything that I have tried have exceeded my expectations. It has a better atmosphere than most pizza places, the staff has always been helpful, and it's fun to walk downtown a bit before or after the meal. If you're craving pizza, come to Aubree's. You won't regret it.

The best pizza in town. Its a good place to grab a beer and food with some friends. Now that I have moved away, I miss it a lot. The breading on their crust is better than anywhere else I have been. Though I live in a metro area now with lots of pizza options few are as good. I like that they have gluten free options. Few places do in smaller towns, which is nice for my family who can't handle gluten. Not the best pizza I have had but definitely up there.

Go for the super cheese bread alone! We are from Chicago but have a place in the UP, Aubrees is 9 times out of 10 on our must stop list while we're in Marquette. The super cheese bread dipped in ranch may be the 8th wonder of the world. The pizza is good and customizing crust flavor is a fun option, maybe being from Chicago makes us pizza snobs but we're not that crazy about it. There are lots of options other than pizza. Nice selection of beers and good service.

Choices were limited on New Year's Day in Marquette. We were pleased with Aubrees and surprised to find out it's a franchise with additional stores downstate. We started with an appetizer but I don't remember what it was called. I'll show a pic. The guys shared wings and pizza, the ladies shared coconut chicken and Brussels sprouts. The pizza wasn't overflowing with toppings but the managed to eat it. The chicken was ok as were the brussel sprouts. I was disappointed they weren't served in an iron skillet like the pictures had displayed. For dessert we had the berry crumble. More crumble would've made us happier. Oh yeah, we started with fruffy drinks too. The salted Carmel pretzel and the peach bourbon basil smash! Those both were awesome! Service good. Cold by window.

*gluten free diner* It's nice to know that there are (a few) options out there for those of us with celiac disease. Aubree's has a decent gf pizza crust, as well as a gf burger bun. The sauce is good, if a little sweet. The burgers tend to be a *little* overcooked (I like mine med-rare), but I find that to be the case almost everywhere. I'm not crazy about the ambience, but there's nothing glaringly bad about it- almost sports-bar (without the bar), almost... hollow... like a TGIFriday's at closing time. In the end, it's fine. We go there when we remember it, and leave not-hungry.

I went in to Aubree's with very low expectations, but was absolutely blown away by the incredible calzone that I ordered. It was baked to a beautiful golden finish with a crispy, chewy crust. I ordered it with mozzarella cheese, fresh mushrooms and Italian sausage. It came out piping hot and was one of the best things that I've eaten in recent memory. It was also huge, so I took two of the four pieces home with me. We ate outside on their back patio, which offered a nice view and a cool breeze. The service was great too, which you don't always get when eating outside at many places. What a great surprise to find that killer calzone at Aubree's!

Been meaning to try this place for quite some time. Heard a range of comments about it so finally took a business lunch there. Came up the rear internal stairs where most of the parking is available. Not exactly a great entrance, the door is dirty and at the top no one to greet us or any signage where to go. Ambled forward and found a sign saying wait to be seated. So waited, didn't see anyone, waited and then went to the cashier/order station to ask to be seated. They have outdoor seating which is great in the summer, waitress opened the umbrella and used a screwdriver as a peg to lock it in place. (really) It was not busy which I didn't expect as students and family were filing into town. Menu is varied but fairly tradition, they had their pizza buffet running as well. Ordered their Derby Bourbon Burger medium rare, with steak fries and ice tea. The photo of it on the menu and website looks impressive and delicious. When it comes to the plate though not so much. There MAY have been two onion rings and the burger was significantly smaller than the bun. The way its wrapped nicely on the plate it looks like a lot of burger for about $10 but as you eat through it you will be left with several bites of nothing but bun. Add to that the burger was medium at best not the medium rare as ordered. The steak salad was ordered, sans cherry tomatoes. It was also plated nicely but the tomatoes were on it, luckily easy to pick off. The meat did NOT taste like steak, more like a old roast not appealing or to use the actually wording GROSS. Now maybe the waitress was new as we did not get seated right away and the odd screwdriver peg. BUT had to ask for silverware, had to ask for napkins, had to ask for condiments (ie ketchup, mustard, salt pepper) and then found the ketchup bottle empty so needed another. Remember it was NOT busy. Several other places in town and just outside of town that offer similar or better fare and better service. Maybe it REALLY is only a pizza place, but not sure I'm willing to find that out.

Awesome pizza joint with really excellent pizzas that can be obtained with a nicely thick pan crust, very chewy and tasty. They brought out garlic bread and salads promptly, which helped with the wait for the pizza which while otherwise excellent was very long. No complaints about any of the food; they even brewed fresh coffee for me, which was good as it was rather late in the day and we still had to make St. Iggy that night. Only complaint about a place that would otherwise be perfect is how incredibly, incredibly noisy it was. The noise level was completely overwhelming. They need to install some damping insulation or something! But if you don't mind the noise (which I do, alas), it would be five stars.

Decent food for college kids maybe. My husband and I stopped in while walking around downtown. We had been recommended to a few places a round such as the Veirling and were very disappointed, so decided to try it here cause they had a few tables. You walk in they are remodeling but have it kept nice so you can still dine. Our service was good. She knew enough of their menu to answer our questions but could not offer many suggestions. My husband ordered a burger he ate it all. Their fries are good too. My sandwich was their house signature club on focaccia, the focaccia was old and made the sandwich almost impossible to eat as each bite i tried to take the sandwich was falling apart in my hand and the bread was almost disintegrating. I had to remove the blackened slimy avocado from the top of the sandwich and ask the sever for new fresh green avocado, any good person or cook would have never let that sandwich leave the kitchen. It was very disappointing and I ate what I could due to being hungry and not wanting to wait for anything else. May go back and try something else, but seems to be a place run by college kids with no actual managerial supervision or code of consistency on serving old rotting food, or just old food in general. Maybe try their pizza next time if we decide to return.

Ahh this place has been a nightmare for me. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with cajun crust, and they actually managed to screw it up twice in a row. No comensation. Nothing. Oh well, 3rd times a charm... Or is it? I think the place is in tremendous debt so I guess cutting corners helps the company stay affloat. They do allright with business, but knowing some of the stuff that goes on in the back, I think I will take my business elsewhere. ...And why were the cops in the restaurant looking for the owner? Makes you wonder?! Oh well - it beats Little Ceasers. That isnt saying much though.

First we'll start with the bad: every time I've come here Aubree's is packed. A few times there was a half hour or longer wait. But all these people aren't wasting their time, they're just waiting for some damn good food. All of their ingredients are fresh and their pizzas have a ton of cheese (without it being a huge gooey mess). I love their calzones; $7 will get you one the size of your head. And their other prices aren't bad either. They usually have drink specials or deals going on before 6 pm. Students get discounts (Northern only; they scoffed at my Michigan Tech ID and said they should charge me 10% extra!) and free delivery to the dorms. Four stars because of the wait (and the waiter who thought Northern is a better school than Tech).

The lunch buffet is a good deal. They do a good job of keeping fresh pizza on the buffet. The salad bar is especially good for a buffet and includes a spring mix or similar salad.

Loved this place. Food was very good. I had there Bacon Avocado Tomato Grilled Cheese and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Others in our party had various types of pizza. The service wad wonderful too.

Best pizza in a pizza parlor that I've had in a long time. Dough is light & fluffy Great service.

Really good pizza. This was my hang-out place for birthdays freshman and sophomore year of college. It's expensive though and they recently changed the birthday club so you can't get a free pizza anymore.

The lunch buffet is a good deal. They do a good job of keeping fresh pizza on the buffet. The salad bar is especially good for a buffet and includes a spring mix or similar salad.
