This was the first restaurant I'd seen in a while when driving back from a vacation up north, so I stopped in for lunch. It's a pretty traditional diner with pretty traditional diner food. My sandwich and fries were fine, but be aware there are no frills when it comes to both the food and the interior decor. I certainly wouldn't avoid it if in the area, but this is no one for which you should go out of your way.

Decent breakfast in here. Our eggs were cooked to order and plenty of bacon, crispy but not burnt. Decent toast and hashbrowns too. It was very casual and the atmosphere was somewhat lacking but it was reasonable and the service was quite friendly and good. Dinners seemed to be homestyle type food, everything seemed to skew fried, breaded or fat laden so we skipped it. Definitely not a stop for health fanatics, not that we are but still.

Came in for breakfast while on vacation. Met my cousin and some of his co workers when they got off the night shift. I was told to order a "Big ass pancake" which I couldn't bring myself to do. But I did get the pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. Had I read the reviews of the bacon I may have passed but it seems they learned or switched cooks because it was definitely not deep fried. It was really good and they are NOT afraid to put some on your plate. The scrambled eggs could have been taken off the heat a little sooner. Kinda overcooked and dry. The pancakes were pretty darn good. You might think it's just a pancake... even places that rhyme with Penny's can make them.. They're an art form. Anyone can make them but not everyone makes them well. The service is great and the staff is on their game.. It's a place with regulars and they all know each other but as a guest in town I was welcomed like a local. I'd recommend this place and when in Manistee I'll come back!!

Breakfast served here all day, along with burgers and typical diner food. Breakfast was pretty okay, lots of food for the price. Friendly service.

Stopped here for breakfast. Nothing fancy. Food was fine. Large portions for the price. Sign out front boasts 'Voted best breakfast in town & best service'......come to find out lots of restaurants/establishments in Manistee claim to be the best.....word of caution.

Went for breakfast. Deep fried bacon, potatoes were little cubes that were deep fried and tasted like french fried, I believe that the sausage links were also deep fried. The cook is one of two that I know of that can screw up scrambled eggs. Do yourself and your arteries a favor and pass on this place.
