A great little ice cream shop. Make sure to bring cash... they do not accept credit card! The people who work there are always willing to go the extra mile to see a smile on a kids face... and they don't disappoint for anyone else for that matter. The place is always packed on a summer night... so don't be surprised if there is a little line for you to wait in. :)

A must in the summer! It's your run-of-the-mill ice cream stand with soft-serve ice cream, sundaes, shakes, etc. I only wish they had more dip options. Just so you know it's cash only and parking can be kind of tricky. They have a drive-thru and the line through that can block access to the parking spots. I usually park at the cardiologists' office next door.

Shakers has been a staple in MH for as long as I can remember. They have the best soft serve ice cream and every type of current themed Popsicle you could imagine. My single only complaint is that it always smells like cigarette smoke when you are at the windows. That's super gross, especially in the food industry --- but the people there are very nice.

I have spent many nights this summer visiting this soft serve ice cream emporium. From the cones and sundaes to the 'Blizzard' style offerings, they do not disappoint. This is a value when compared to the franchised soft serve ice cream competition. They always are very generous in their portion sizes. The ice cream is very creamy and the staff always have a quick smile to offer. The prices are lower too !! They have a drive through window, which makes the ease of a quick treat a relatively simple option. If you're in the area, it is worth the stop. A-OK

Shaker's IS the definition of summer for me! Forget DQ and they're ridiculous prices on one scoop of ice cream, come to Shaker's instead! My regular is the large strawberry sundae for $4.25. And when I say large, I mean the size of a Starbuck's Venti!! But be warned, it is ALWAYS busy on a hot summer day AND night! But the trip is completely worth it!!

This is your typical local ice cream place. They have cheap cones and cups of ice cream as well as the blended ice cream/topping dessert that is called a shaker here and many other names elsewhere. Prices are good and the service is variable because it is mostly teenagers on their summer jobs. Can be hard to spot because when the building next door went up, for some reason they built it 6 inches from the shakers sign so now it is covered up when driving from the west. It's sad and hilarious at the same time.
