Awful. Don't waste your money. All three of us ordered hamburgers. Two had to be remade. Fries were cold. Asked that they prepare more. Coke syrup was out in the fountain drink dispenser. Only good thing about it was the view of the water in the back.

If you're looking for a quick meal that doesn't cost a bundle, Mighty Mac is a good place to go. The burgers are OK, nothing to rave about, as is the chili. The prices are a bit high for what you get, but you are in the middle of a tourist area on an island that exists for tourism. The staff was very friendly. The service was quick.

Yummy! Walked in just before 12 and no wait. Food came up quick after ordering, was hot and we all really liked it. Kids meal comes with fountain drink, includes lemonade, and milk is extra. Sandwich prices are listed and combos add about $3. But my husband got a combo so I didn't and we had plenty of fries.

The burgers are okay, but for the prices and location, I'd have hoped for something better. With so many good burger joints popping up all over regular cities, this place needs an overhaul. Expect fresh burgers and fries, and fast service at Mac Island prices, but not much better than a typical fast-food place.

Love this place. Quick, friendly service that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. If you want a fancier meal, there are plenty of other options on the island. This place has been around a while and does a great job serving tourists and locals alike.

My expectations were pretty low for the plain burger joint on the middle of the tourist trap known as downtown Mackinac. The double burger and fries were very good. My son loved his Foot long chili cheese dog. Don't get me wrong, this is no gourmet restaurant... but for a greasy burger joint, you could do a lot worse.

Ok. Really??? We paid $37 for 2 burgers w/ bacon and chz, and 2 plain hot dogs. Oh. And a side of fries (because"everything is separate" and 2 drinks. The entire meal tasted like McDonalds... I'm not kidding. Absolutely nothing special...And the guy behind the counter (I'm pretty sure he was the owner) was an absolute jerk. We were the only ones there initially and I really got the feeling we were just a pain in the you know what to him. My son, who's 2 mind you, grabbed at one of the pictures on the wall and I pulled him away from it and a ton of dead flies fell out from behind the picture all over our table. EWWWW!!! That was it. I was out. Save your money. This place is terrible. And plz read my other reviews. I'm definitely not a negative one... (And I say on additional tips for this place that it takes credit cards, but the owner couldn't figure out how to operate the machine)

I don't like to give any restaurant a bad review but this place doesn't deserve a good one. I expected to pay more on the island but I also expected better food. I had a cheese burger that was cooked but very bland. My wife had a fish sandwich that was deep fried and hard. The staff was not very happy or friendly. They all acted like they were nursing the previous night's hangover. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

This place is a high priced McDonalds. Couldn't even finish my grey colored burger patty. Absolutely disgusting. Yes, I read the other reviews, but thought I would give it a try anyway. WRONG DECISION! My stomach is already flipping. Steer clear!

Don't bother unless you are craving an over priced burger. It's not worth the $10 for a burger combo meal. I've had better at BK or McDonalds. The only good thing about this place was the view of the water.

When you go to Mackinac Island, you imagine everything to eat will cost you an arm and a leg. Well, that's true, but if you're looking for a quick bite to eat, this place is pretty good. They have a wide variety of menu items that basically reminds you of a fast food place. I compared their burgers to those at Burger King. Our meal cost $20 for two burger combos (quarter pound cheeseburger, fries, and drink). As far as quality of the food, that's mediocre. But, it's pretty good on price, convenience, and lowbrow atmosphere.

I have a different take on this place than most. First, let me say we've been coming to the island for more than twenty years. We've stayed many places and eaten literally EVERYWHERE from the Grand Hotel to the Chuckwagon. Some of these reviewers seem to forget that everything costs more out here: not because it's a tourist "trap," but b/c everything from the lettuce on your sandwich to the napkin you use has to be shipped out and all the trash shipped back. So yes, you pay a bit more. Taking that into account, Mighty Mac does a great job. The staff is friendly and the food is fine...the equivalent of fast food, maybe a little better. Is it the best burger of your life? No. Is it a good place to stop for something quick, fuss-free and reasonably priced when you're tired, in a hurry, or the kids need a hot dog? Yes! This is a good lunch stop at your destination,folks. Not a destination restaurant. Judge it as what it is: a counter-service burger joint in a tourist town. One more thing. The other yelper's picture is NOT of this place, it's a photo of Mary's Bistro. So I'm not sure he actually ate here or not.

We were directed here for a quick breakfast and I really liked the sausage, egg, and cheese muffin sandwich. It was a great price and hot and fresh. Probably the best deal for breakfast on the island! The lunch was okay - I had the fried chicken sandwich and my grandma had the hot dog and fries which she said was okay.

When my husband and I went to Mackinac Island for our honeymoon, I was not planning on eating burgers from a burger joint. But, after he got "glutenized" at the grand hotel and was sick for an entire night, we went in search of ANYTHING gluten free. Dressed in our Sunday best (as the Grand Hotel makes you dress up for meals), we trudged over to Mighty Mac to see if possibly their burger is gluten free. We couldn't have been more impressed by the service. The boys behind the counter were uncertain of the gluten-free status of the burger, so they let us check out the box and then called their boss. When we deemed the burger was safe, they actually washed down a part of the grill for my husband and specially made his burgers. (He had his burgers sans the buns, of course) It was amazing. Now, were these the best burgers I have ever had? No, but the caring nature of the staff gives this place a 4 star rating in my book. (And most importantly, he did not get sick after eating them)

Despite my expectations, I actually enjoyed Mackinac Island this past summer. It is kind of like walking around a medieval fair without the medieval...but still, it is pretty cool. So imagine my surprise when, towards the end of the day, I encountered this place...where I had what had to be the worst burger I have had since my elementary cafeteria. It was a little dry, a little cold, and like this restaurant, it was completely unimpressive. Avoid this place. Such an experience is too costly at any price.

Burgers were ok! Nothing special but was hot and quick. The chili was great, a little spicy for my taste but my husband liked it. Great for the price and quickness. Was definitely better than my breakfast at a restaurant down the street.
