Is there a half star? Because that's what I would have given this pizza joint. Pizza places should never take more than 30 minutes to fulfill an order - chain stores or made to order. My spouse and I are visiting Ludington and decided to go local for dinner. We saw Mancino's and it looked like a good place. We walked in what seemed like a homey, mom and pops restaurant so we thought how much local can we get? We ordered a 12" thin crust pizza with 3 toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions). We were told 15 minutes. Because we had our dogs with us from a day at the beach, we stayed with them in the car, engine running. After all, idling the car for 15 minutes wouldn't be too much waste of gasoline. Thirty minutes later, our food still wasn't ready. They said they were just putting it in the oven. We asked how many minutes more is the wait? The woman at the counter said a few minutes. No apology. Almost an hour later, we followed up again. They were just pulling it out of the oven! As we took our order, we made it a point we gave them our feedback. We asked the same woman if they were on Yelp (so we can write a review) but she said, "What's that?" She offered a gift certificate to use next time but we politely said, "No, thanks. We don't think we'll ever come back." Again, no apology. So let's go to the pizza. Two words: nothing special. The crust was underdone. I guess if they do anything fast, it's pulling stuff from the oven before the food is done. Would I recommend it? Yes, for those who want to try new things; No, for pizza fans that are in a hurry, very hungry, want value for their money, or want really good pizza.

The pizza isn't bad it just isn't what I look for in pizza. I found the crust to be too chewy and lacks any crisp. The sauce was very sweet and the toppings were fairly bland. I wouldn't go here if I was looking for pizza but it's edible and would eat it again but only if someone else were paying.

Great veggie pizza, awesome staff ... After the dinner rush you might see some napkins on the floor... I just pick them up to be helpful. Staff very friendly and counter girl was very approachable.

When we walked in there was napkins and food on the floor and the tables were a mess. I was craving pizza so no big deal. Waited forever for someone to say can I take your order (mind you their all standing right in front of the counter making the food.) While we were sitting there waiting for the food, I noticed nobody was wearing gloves, (once again no biggie but alarming) It wasn't until the sink got clogged that he went to the BR and grabbed the plunger and started plunging away! I was disgusted! I don't typically get grossed out but with all of that.. I'm sure you all need to stay away! *It should also be noted that we stayed in Ludington for a week and had unfriendly wait staff at ever restaurant.

Mancinos is a chain that we knew served gluten free pizza crusts. Dad's chicken cordon blue grinder was decent. My brother and I split a pride pizza, which was a good, classic pizza. Big crust. Well cooked ingredients. Mom's gluten free slammer pizza was not the greatest. The steak was tough and the gluten free crust not stellar. That pizza was trying very hard to be tasty but just wasn't succeeding. Maybe on a standard crust? The clerk said that was a popular pizza. Standard prices. It's a small location that was completely full when we arrived on Saturday night. Seemed to be a local favorite. Moderately clean, but the restroom was somewhat less clean.
