Love this restaurant and have been going for 10 years or so. The management is on-deck, wait staff friendly and very personable. The food is great and the restaurant is clean. Great value. It is extremely COLD in this restaurant all the time. Bring a parka.

This IHOP is like any other IHOP. You know what you're getting. This location has decent service, although the servers seem rather young and often not very quick, but still friendly. My biggest complaint is the menu. Why are the pictures so small?!?!!! The descriptions are easy to read but the pictures of the food are tiny! I don't get it! It bothers me a lot! I've had everything from omelettes, to pancakes to dinner. The breakfasts are the best. Everything else (burgers, entrees, etc) taste very frozen and don't have a lot of flavor. IHOP isn't my favorite place and it's not my least favorite. It's just sort of...there.

Dirty! Dishes! Gross!! I think there may be something VERY wrong with their dishwasher. I had lipstick on my cup from whomever used it last. My spoon had what looked like coffee grounds on it, and it was wet in the napkin. I'm wondering if the dishes are just being rinsed off instead of washed in a sanitary manner. Yuck! (Food was good, though.)

As a group we went and split into two tables. As we were about to pay she(the waitress) would not accept the free enteree coupon even though we went as two different tables. She claimed that we were the same party. It says "limit 1/table/visit" and we were two different tables and she would not accept it! Never going there again. Terrible experience with her rudeness.

Not the most memorable breakfast experience but not disappointing either. Dropped in for Sunday breakfast around 11am. They were already busy but got slammed after we were seated. Our waitress, Teresa, was working many sections and was very busy but continued to check in us and was friendly. As I couldn't decide what i wanted I got the split decision breakfast. Loved the French toast and meats, but pancakes were soggy with butter by the time they got to me. Also, they put a lot of cheese in the scrambled eggs which ill have to remember next time to avoid. Kudos to Teresa for great service in a busy breakfast shift!

We stopped in for a Saturday breakfast and were not surprised by this restaurant. We were seated quickly and the menu was expansive. I settled on a spinach omelet with a side of strawberry cheesecake pancakes. The omelet was good and cheesy. I also enjoyed that it was served with a Hollandaise type sauce that complimented it nicely. The cheesecake pancakes with strawberries were a little shy on cheesecake chunks. It took like 5 bites to finally get a taste of cheesecake, but they were tasty, nonetheless. Our server was friendly, although the food did take a while for what is essentially short order breakfast. My daughter's kid's meal cheeseburger was nothing special, but she seemed to enjoy her choice. My only major gripe is that we were given a cracked and chopped coffee cup and a hopelessly mangled dinner plate. The ceramic actually flaked off as I cut up the omelet. We exchanged plates and I slid my meal onto a better plate and things were fine. I'm not a major IHOP fan, but it was a decent meal.

In most respects, an IHOP is an IHOP is an IHOP. Do you like pancakes? Then you will like theirs. They have lots of pancake choices (including some healthy, lower cal options) and a decent selection of non-pancake breakfast items. What does differ from IHOP to IHOP is the service. And the service at this location is competent and friendly, if a little harried when it's busy.

After today's visit I definitely won't be returning to this particular IHOP restaurant ever again! The waitress was really nice, but the food was terrible. I ordered sirloin steak cooked medium well, but what I got was an overdone steak with some of the edges burnt. Then the waitress forgot my soup, but she did apologize after I pointed it out, and she offered to put it in a carryout container. The most disappointing part of this dining experience was the atmosphere. The workers were extremely loud and ghetto! They would joke around with each other from across the room and took no thought to the fact that customers could hear everything they were saying. One worker complained (loudly) about having to clean up after some previous customers whose toddler vomited and left napkins on the floor. I have never been to a restaurant where you could hear the kitchen staff from the dining area, on the other side of the restaurant!!! It was completely ridiculous. I only stayed because my husband was enjoying his meal and wasn't as bothered as I was about the unprofessional staff. If we ever do decide to go to IHOP again it won't be this location!

We love the Livonia IHOP!! They have great morning specials...I believe they go until 10am. Every day that the kids have a day off we go for breakfast. I love the pancakes and blueberry syrup, and the coffee is my favorite....make sure you ask for the flavored creams. The waitstaff is always friendly and chipper. We've never had a bad experience. We've been to other IHOPs but haven't seen the specials or the flavored cream. Keep up the good work!! We love it!

The food here is always just meh (meaning the chain as a whole). My husband really likes it though. My new fave used bookstore is around the corner and I dropped triple digits (yes mostly on USED books) so James got to pick where to eat afterward. Knowing I was in no position to say no he chose here. We had not eaten most of the day so my blood sugar was low and I wanted a ton of food. We both got combos with eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and pancakes. My husband got some wheat toast. It came out burnt but our server was so cool about it and swiped it back into the kitchen before my husband could even comment on it, bringing him a perfect replacement set. There was also a mix up on pancakes as some other server swiped ours for her table. It worked out for us as we got hot fresh pancakes as like a dessert course. The food was filling, fine and utterly unmemorable. I got into trouble here by ordering coffee. They give you a pot of your own. Yeah. I nearly drank the whole thing solo. My husband had to stage an intervention and order me a water. I bounced off of the walls for the rest of the night. Sadly it was not all that great tasting, I just have a severe caffeine issue and therefore do not own a coffeepot of my own. Given my poor behavior here I am affirming that is a wise decision.

This is a new looking IHOP with a large parking lot and curbside pickup. The menu has expanded quite a bit in the last year. They have their 7 for $7 specials (e.g., Nutella crepes), regular menu, and a menu supplement of new favorites. Many new pancakes have been introduced including red velvet and NY cheesecake. They added comfort food favorites like chicken & waffles and country fried steak. And they have "simple & fit" options for under 600 calories. Kids still get a paper menu with puzzles and a box of crayons. * Simple & fit two x two x two ($5.99): It's a lot of food for $6 and 400 calories: two moderately fluffy, not too sweet large buttermilk pancakes, two strips of turkey bacon (smoky, crisp edges) and scrambled egg substitute. The pancakes were cooked just right. The eggs and bacon weren't as good as the real thing but they were still satisfying. I also love having a whole pot of unlimited coffee to myself. IHOP continues to satisfy pancake cravings as the nation's premier pancake chain. My favorites are the chocolate chip, pumpkin and harvest grain n' nut.

Most disgusting eating experience EVER! WHY? WHY? WHY did we think that was the place to eat! Should have left when I opened my silverware/napkin roll and found a dirty knife and fork.. BARF I give them a one because the one waitress/hostess was very nice and very prompt. I had some combo of eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, sausage links. (lots of food, but a good sampling of each thing). The pancakes were good. They were good old fashion buttermilk cakes, nice texture...fluffy..The rest of the meal was HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING! hashbrowns-frozen type, bland.. eggs-good lord, I don't even know if those were real eggs. They were a deeeep yellow color, smoky flavor, and bits and chunks of something mixed in...two lil bites and I could not eat them. Sausage links (they served bacon although, I ordered links) waitress went to kitchen and was back in 30 seconds. The links were wrinkled and shriveled looking. Against my better judgement, I thought to try one. BARF! My husband had a mushroom cheese omelet. Again, the eggs are a deeeeeep yellow color, same smoky flavor, and then a light number of mushrooms and I can't even say if there was cheese or not. He didn't finish it. I think it's a pretty good indication that it wasn't good, when 95% is left on the plate. I'm not one to return food to the kitchen, as who knows what nasty they will throw in there. I will just choose to never visti again.

I've taken a liking to this IHOP location. Apparently, a LOT of people have, too. It's ALWAYS packed and there's always a wait. It's worth it, though and you will leave FULL. This location handles the crowd well, though. The wait isn't more than 20 minutes and for the most part, the service is pretty swift. The hostess seats you and the waitstaff person isn't long behind. After you order, your food is coming up soon after. I've never been disappointed with the food here. But how can an IHOP go wrong? Everything on their menu is pretty straight forward--nothing fancy. DO sign up on the Ihop page for their frequent diner email list You'll receive special offers and promotions. Also, remember to participate in the survey on your receipt. It gives you a few dollars off your next visit.

I enjoy a good breakfast, and I appreciate good service. I found both of these at the Livonia IHOP. Coney Island resteraunts usually offer the same greasy fare, but IHOP is clean, not only in conditions, but in taste. This may be why their is a small wait to be seated on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I can honestly say if you dont mind a little wait, you too will enjoy the experience, and realize that IHOP is not just the home of the one legged waitress!!
