Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I've ordered from this place a couple times now and they have consistently impressed me. I've had pizza probably 2-3 times a month my entire life and this is the best pizza I've ever had. I often order this salad called a Michigan greek salad which has a raspberry vinaigrette and dried cherries and I've never thought I would like a sweet salad but this place has had me craving salad which if you knew me is insane. The only downside I can think of is they don't have online ordering and I hate making orders over the phone but I do it anyway because this place is so good. Here's a link to their menu bcpizza.com/New%20Menu%2…

The best pizza my stomach will ever consume. I drive an hour long just to get this pizza. If your satisfied with little Caesars pizza this pizza will blow your mind

I haven't had BC Pizza in years. I don't remember it being this good. I got a coupon in the mail for a free large pizza and I am glad I did. Food was good, service not so good. Can't have it all I guess

This is one of my favorite pizza places. Their cheese is super yummy and they use a LOT. I like the pizza roll the best but their pizza is also very good. Cheesy and delicious, with plenty of toppings. Plus, they have a drive through window to pick up!! Only thing is, today we got pepperoni sausage and the sausage is pretty spicy... enough that my step daughter didn't like it. :(

This was my second experience with BC's. The first time would have been 5 stars, but tonight's was lack luster. It was still good but not the same level of deliciousness as the first time. Plus, the service or lack thereof almost resulted in us not having a second time. We called in our order 20 mins ahead, showed up and no one came to the counter. Several people looked up but no one said anything. A younger woman came up and asked if anyone had helped us, we said no and she grabbed a cookie and then left saying someone would be up in a minute. We were about to leave and finally someone came and got our pizza. We did get an apology, but it didn't seem genuine. The pizza and tossed salad were tasty but not worth $23.

Probably some of the best pizza downriver.. Square and extra cheese and pepperoni is best! :-) love this place..
(5)Amanda T.
Alaina is not a good order taker. She spoke over me and I told her specifically what I wanted because of that reason, yet here I am just picked up my food and the orders wrong ! Wonder how many other people's orders she's taken with the same attitude. I thought I was being quite nice while taking my order but not annoyingly nice, and she just was weird. Wish I had as good as an experience as other reviewers. But a blonde lady did come over and hand is our food and she was super nice. About to try the food now let's hope it's worth it

New to the area, I tried various pizza joints. BC's pizza was undercooked & doughy. Yuck!

Oh BC's, what a fickle mistress you've become. I grew up on this pizza, and after years of great..no..amazing pizza I figured the day would eventually come where you would fail me and oh my did you do so leaps and bounds. I called ahead early, 20 minutes to be precise, upon my arrival I stood at the counter for around 10-15 minutes only to be looked at several times and not even acknowledged. A girl even came up to the counter to get a cookie for an order, and asked if we had been helped but she didn't seem to really care anyway. Some more time passed and I almost to took my service to Roma's, but my girlfriend and I were finally approached for service, so after all that time, and a few insincere apologies later we finally were able to indulge with..mediocre pizza. It was a true bummer as BC's pizza has always given me great pizza and have showed me what true pizza should taste like, however their long undefeated streak of supplying incredible pizza has been broken, all because of some employees not tending to their faithful customers. Unfortunately, I cannot foresee myself going back.

One of the best pizzas you'll ever try. Fast, hot and delicious! Tons of items on the menu.
(5)Waleska S.
After looking at the pics and reading the reviews , had to take the extra mile to pick-up our first Super Large Pizza with the spicy cajun crust ... Gotta say that each and every bite was very tasty , able to taste each and every topping ... layers of goodness ... Definitely from now on a regular place to order !!!!
(5)John S.
I ordered 2 slices and a pop, which was 3.85. Good deal, but the slices came on a paper plate packed inside a paper bag! Nobody said anything, and I was lucky enough to have carried the bag horizontally or I would have been screwed. How many people have ruined their pizza or gotten grease all over themselves due to this unacceptable packaging? Anyhow, the pizza was very good, but you better order a whole pie.
(3)Stephanie Z.
Fast delivery and fantastic pizza! i live a little ways from here but its always here 30-40 mins after ordering.
(5)Todd G.
possibly the best pizza in Lincoln Park! we love BC's!
(5)Nikki C.
We've been going to BC's for years and years. Good quality pizza. Easy phone number to remember. Drive Thru window! Pizza by the slice. Decent prices.
(5)Therle D.
This place serves some of the best pizza I've ever had. We found them online while at home, not really feeling like going out or cooking. What we got was a pizza with fresh toppings, mountains of cheese and a great, crispy crust. Everything was piping hot, and even reheated well for breakfast the next morning (which I find rare in most pizzas these days). If you're ever in the Lincoln Park area and want to find great pizza for a good price, these guys are it.
(5)Quinten C.
It will do not the worst and not the best. However they do deliver which is a plus. Kids seem to really like it.
(2)Brent M.
Downriver staple, and easily the best pizza in the area. The best tasting sauce I've ever had, extra cheese comes standard, and the pizzas are cooked perfectly. Every time I order from here, I will eat until I feel sick because it's so damn good! My favorite is the BC Special (pepperoni, ham, green pepper, onion, mushroom), minus mushroom sub bacon. Another must-have is the Super Sticks, which is some of the best cheese bread you'll ever have. Make sure to get spicy sauce -- it's spiced up pizza sauce and the perfect compliment to the blanket of cheese. They'll probably ask you "pizza, ranch or spicy?" ... my family always gets one regular, one spicy. I've also had the salad once and I had no complaints -- fresh and tasted great. My only gripe is that coupons are few and far between. They usually have three specials listed on their web site, but they change frequently and finding what you're looking for is hit or miss. I joined the mobile VIP club by texting a number on their web site, but after the initial 20% off one item and one or two more specials sent via text, the communication stopped. You can also get a one-time 20% off by telling them you liked their Facebook page. Delivery is $2.75 I believe, which is pretty standard. If you prefer to pick it up, you can always hit the drive thru... getting out of your car is not necessary! If you want some of the best pizza you've ever had, especially if you like extra cheese, you MUST have BC's. If you live downriver and you've never had BC's, you are totally missing out!
(5)Mary C.
$20 not well spent. Reading the good reviews excited me to try it. Well its only minutes after my first experience and I must say I am more than disappointed. Perhaps our timing was bad since we ordered shortly after they opened on a Sunday, but the breadsticks and our deep dish dough was very undercooked. So much so that the middle pieces were literally raw dough. So the plentiul delicious cheese on top of the toppings all slid off our raw dough. Perhaps we wil try the round.
(2)Deedee B.
Great pizza and bonus is the drive through window.
(4)Matt R.
Do you like cheese?, pepperoni? Lots of it? Crunchy warm crust? . Yeah!? It's really good pizza! Not the best I've had but really good!. Tastes fresh and tasty ! Beats the hell out of pizza hut or the $5.00 pizza pizza guy. Yeah you'll pay more but totally worth it! Plus your supporting the local guy. Try it you can't lose!
(4)Jon S.
My wife won a free gift certificate at a bowling fundraiser. It's about a 15-20 minute drive to get there for us, so we probably wouldn't of tried it otherwise. I'm really glad we did. The pizza was outstanding. Probably the best tasting pizza I've tried in the downriver area. The cheese came almost all the way up to the crust, the pizza was crunchy and the cheese had a nice brown crust on it. The toppings were plentiful and of good quality. They also have a drive up window for phoned in orders which is a bonus. We will definitely make the drive to get this pizza from now on. Thank you to B.C.'s for donating the gift certificate, for you just got a new customer.
(5)Lauren M.
I've grown up with BC's Pizza, grandparents love it, parents love it, as do it. The pizza itself is amazing. Piled on toppings, deep dish crust, and the cheese over the toppings. The cheese bread is equally as delicious. Now, I know places have snafoos every now and then, understandably. Ordered the pizza around 8:30. The young lady who took my order asked what I'd like, helped me decide the size, took down my address for the delivery, and gave me my total of $15 and some change, saying it would be about 30-40 minutes. An hour goes by, and I'm starving. I give them a call to see if they're on the way. The same young lady answers and i make the general statement of "i need to check on an order please, it was supposed to be here an hour ago.." Without asking any further information she snaps "Weren't you going to pick it up?!" Somewhat shocked by the way she came off, I responded with "You took down my address, it was not a pick up.." Again with an attitude, her response was " Well, excuuuuse me. I kept my cool, didn't want my food to get spit on or anything. She came back on the phone after a brief hold and said the pizza would be there in 15 minutes, and hangs up. Now wait a minute, you're telling me that after you took my address and thought I was picking up a pizza that you made an hour ago, you're sending that same pizza to me and it will be another 15 minutes for that now cold pizza, no discount, no apology, nothing? Before I can make a call back, the manager calls me. He apologizes himself, says the "new girl" took down the order as a take out instead of delivery, and he will give me a 10% discount. I reply with " Well I did give her my address..and she got an attitude with me". He gives me a new total that is now higher than the original total with this "10%" discount. I explain that to him, and also inform him that I will not be paying for delivery after all of this, and asked if he could remake the hour old pizza. He came back with a new, now lower, price, said he would remake the pizza, and throw in a 2 liter of coke and an order of cheese bread. He arrives himself about 30 minutes later, fresh pizza, bread, and pop in hand. He sincerely apologized, I paid and tipped over 20%, seeing as it was not his fault. Now don't get me wrong, this isn't a review to bash a pizza place I've loved for years. It's more so to make customers and managers aware that yes, things can happen, but the happiness of the customer depends on how well the management handles the situation. Should that employee have had an attitude, absolutely not. But the manager definitely rectified the situation to the best of his ability with the remake, discount, and freebies. No reason to hold a grudge when they've made the effort. Nice save BC's. I'll be back.

This place makes the most awesome thick crust (pan type) pizza in the world. I can put a huge stamp of approval on the world's greatest pizza. I have not had an opportunity to try any side items
(5)Kellie G.
It is good pizza. But we waited an hour for it to be delivered, which I live down the street but I was having a party and didn't want to pick it up. When I called they answered and said they were closed and hung up on me and then expected me to tip after an hour of delivery!
(2)Jeff W.
After reading a Herald article about B.C.'s Pizza having been doing business for 25 years, I decided to give it a try. Delicious! Not at all oily, crunchy chewy crust with lots of gooey yummy cheese, a nice sauce... a very tasty pizza at a good price.
(5)Samantha K.
The pizza here is soooo good! We always get the half pan and I love how much cheese it has! If you like thin crust it's not for you, but I love deep dish. What's also nice is that they have a point system and when you order food you accumulate poitns to get free items.
