Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Good. Wonderful service. Everyone was very nice. Fried rice needs a little more flavor. General Tao chix was tasty.

The Chinese food in Lapeer is some of the worst you will find, and this place is no exception. Many times the people waiting on you are rude and impatient. They also charge extra for chopsticks, hot chili oil, and anything else that would make the meal enjoyable. My advice is to make it yourself at home.

This place has changed owners and employees several times since my first review. Since then the quality of the food has dropped significantly. Just the other day I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and there was hardly and sauce in it. Additionally the recipes for their sauces aren't the same either, and they've changed for the worse. Now this place is on par with most every other one around; meh.

I moved out of Lapeer 4 years ago and I still crave the Almond Chicken. I will indulge when I visit. Enough Said.

I really loved the food- the most authentic Chinese food you can expect to get in Michigan and very fast. It is a take out only place but worth it. You can watch them make your food (yeah it's that fresh) and they don't go crazy with the sauces or sugar like the more streamlined Chinese places. And did I mention it is also very fast? Seriously, I think the longest wait I've had was 10 minutes- and during the 5 o'clock rush that's about what you can expect for the Arby's drive through and this food is fresh.

Growing up in Lapeer, my family's Chinese food dollars always went to Wah Wongs. I had Wing Wah a couple times, but was never impressed enough to make the switch... Plus, my family would usually go out for Chinese over getting carry out... and with Wing Wah being carry out only, that really hurt their chances. almost 20 years later, and the tables have turned. I've been spending a lot of time in Lapeer lately and have recently sampled, and resampled, many Lapeer eateries, The quality of food from Wing Wah was superior. The fry job on the sesame chicken was great. The Hot and Sour soup was unique. Not my favorite, but it was still enjoyable. The Wonton Soup, however, was horrible. Worst I ever had. Something was wrong. The broth was flavorless... and the wontons tasted like cardboard. The rice was well cooked (though I wish it had some veggies in it, and maybe some egg) and I really liked the wonton strip crackers that came with my Large Hot and Sour. But they ignored my request for extra veggies with my entrée (not sure if they still charged me). But they did take my order at 9:45PM... and when I got there, the posted hours said they closed at 9:30PM. They didn't bring it up, but I was thankful. I really didn't want to eat fast food.

After they switched owners it has gone so far down hill it's not even worth getting. Although their hours are a little more convenient the food isn't even worth tasting. There's no flavor.

They changed owners and the recipes. The food is sub par and just sucks now. I used to love almost everything, now I can't even take a bite without spitting it out.

When we have Chinese, this is where we get it. Has everything been wonderful? No, but they still have the best Chinese in town. You get your money's worth and the food is prepared when you order it, so it is hot and fresh. One more thing; this is carry out only.
