We've stopped in here a few times and we have always experienced very friendly, experienced waitresses and good food. Today, the owner stopped by our table and asked us how things were as he offered to top off our coffee. That is a very nice touch and I told him we enjoy his place. As we were walking to our vehicle, he was in the parking area pulling weeds from the garden. This fellow actually cares about his business and his customers. We'll certainly continue to patronize this joint. Sometimes ya jus' gotta stop and smell da roses...........

The food here is great! The staff is the best! Service is always super fast, the place is always impeccably clean. The owner puts 110% into makeing everything top notch and it shows. The Lebanese dishes tucked into the menu are an excellent little secret.

Good food at a fair price. The place is very clean and the severs are very friendly. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but probably due to staffing. The servers work hard! Quite possibly the best sausage links I've ever had.

Not bad for a quick breakfast before work. We had eggs and toast and they were fine. It's a clean restaurant with friendly wait staff. I will go back when I'm in Lansing.

Get the housa! Friendly service here and great food without the wait or too many hipsters.

Poor service, very limited food selection for breakfast, took forever to get our food and it tasted average at best.

So this is a nothing fancy, slightly greasy, get's the job done kind of diner. Came here on a Sunday with a group of 6 looking for a decent breakfast. The menu is pretty generic with your typical spread of omelette's, skillets, and fluffy pancakes. Most of the ingredients come from GFS but that can be expected from a local diner. I ordered the only "exotic" breakfast option, 'Leo's Housa Egg's" which is a scramble of seasoned lamb, pine-nuts and onions. It's a Lebanese flair on scrambled eggs. Not the most appetizing from a presentation point of view, but it was tasty. The service was perfect and timely, which is always appreciated. This is a place where the locals go for breakfast. A range of old couples, a community meeting, and those old grandpa's that go just to get out of the house and order a cup of cheap coffee. Typical breakfast plate runs you $7-$8 and includes a healthy amount of hashbrowns.

Decent diner food, friendly staff, and clean. Chocolate chip pancakes and Lou's Housa are great!

I'm not so sure about this place. The service: I waited an hour for a breakfast that was very simple . The staff was friendly enough and my coffee was always full. However if you know Sunday brunch is a busy time, I'd have more than two cooks working. There were families with little kids waiting for almost an hour to get fed. I was on the verge of walking out by the time breakfast arrived. The food: the food is comparable to most breakfast franchises ( ie IHOP, Big Boy). However, It's a step down from a place like the Cracker Barrel or Fleetwood. I'd suggest having more house specialty items. At the end of the day, you can have more variety and much faster service at a lot of other places around town. There really needs to be some creative thought put into the menu and the cooking staff needs to be increased during brunch or a more efficient work flow needs to be developed.

It think it would be hard to hold your own as a breakfast place in Lansing, the land of phenomenal breakfast, but The Brunch House does just that. Good portion sizes, good prices, cleanliness, friendly and experienced staff, and the welcoming presence of the owner make this place a great choice for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. My favorite is the housa- a Lebanese mix of eggs, ground beef, pine nuts, and spices, but everything else I have tried has been very good as well. I have never experienced a wait for a table, but I have witnessed times when the place fills up, so I imagine that a short wait is possible on weekend mornings. The Brunch House is on our regular rotation of weekend breakfast spots and we are always happy to go there.

I stopped here for breakfast after driving by so many times and wondering how it is. I was very impressed by the typical diner atmosphere and the friendly staff. The owner being around and helping was an additional point for me. I waited longer then normal but worth the wait. Triple stack pancakes was an amazing start to my day. I recommended 2 stack for next time. Highly recommend to check it out

This is a local diner, not those sassy, trendy brunch place, but I really appreciate the food and service. The server was attentive, warm and timely. The manager or store owner came to our table and greeted everybody. Most important part--- the food. I ordered the "off the griddle" with layers of fresh hash browns, sausage gravy, scramble eggs and sausage. Yummy. The seasoning was just in the right place, not too greasy, not too salty, which I appreciate the most. Toasts were fresh and toasted with butter. Simple but yummy. My beau ordered barbecue hamburger. He requested it light on sauce, and the hamburger met his expectation. We love the french fries---fried with fresh oil. The environment was clean and we did not walk out the door smelling like a steak. Overall, this is a nice small local place for a hearty brunch/breakfast.

Stopped in for breakfast today for the first time. This place used to be a Sparty's at one time. Motif is largely the same. A diner kind of place with a normal limited kind of menu. Eggs, omlettes, pancakes, etc. They do have one unique item that included pine nuts. The menu for lunch is a little more diverse and had a middle eastern kind of theme. Overall the food was good, the place was clean, the service was good and friendly. Just nothing really stood out.
