It's been here for a few years, but I had never been in it. With a name with the word SUGAR in it, I tend to RUN...and I certainly had no idea it was a "self-serve" kind of place. Over this past spring break, we encountered similar stores in Lexington, KY so Sugar Berry can thank those guys for our business now. This place is a different a bit than the Lexington types, but that certainly could be just the ethnicity of ownership (items, etc). I was a little disappointed not to see testing/sample "ketchup" type of containers. Have no idea if they have them, but they aren't out as other foyo places readily have available. Our second trip into Sugar Berry didn't show but maybe 1-2 different varieties (yogurt) than was out previously. That was a little disappointing as they were changed just about daily down south (Orange Leaf stores ROCK!). The environment is kind of fun and relaxed. Fun shaped mirrors on the wall, big TV, big squishy couches to sit on, etc. AND...every time I've been in, someone is always cleaning/wiping the toppings bar down. It is 45 cents/ounce. It seems low, but BELIEVE ME, it adds up QUICKLY. Foyo is heavy and if you start plopping on cookie balls, black berries, etc.....ouch. Oh..and yes..the Toro/Taro..or whatever the flavor is called...IS YUM! Different, but YUM!

I have been to Menchies, Orange Leaf, and remember TCBY. But this place has the best tasting yogurt. You really cannot get a better tasting yogurt anywhere! Worth the trip!

I visit this place almost every other day. I love the great flavors and fun toppings. The staff could not be more helpful. It is a great place to git frozen yogurt. It is one of those places that my co workers and I talk about all of the time.

Sugar Berry is basically a frozen yogurt buffet. Pick from several flavors that rotate, pick your toppings from a toppings bar, weight it, pay for it. I like that they have sugar free fro yo available. Otherwise, this place doesn't do it for me. It is definitely a high school hang out - I felt like I was walking into "The Max" on Saved by the Bell. Tons of kids everywhere, and the people who are working there are blabbing high school kids as well. The bar seemed dirty with toppings strewn everywhere. It was also overpriced. $10 for 2 people, when we usually pay about $3-4 going out for ice cream. Not worth the price for me. If I was 16, I'd be there every day.

What great flavors! What great toppings! What cheap prices! I will be here everytime I get anywhere near.

Really great, weigh-it-yourself, froyo, with an extensive selection of toppings (fruits to peanut butter sauce to boba). There are several delicious flavors, and so many toppings that you will very likely serve yourself more than you planned.

Appears to be a standard make-it-your-way yogurt place... but I really have to give Sugar Berry the props it deserves. For one, this place can be healthy and magically delicious! They have unique yogurt flavors like mango or taro, and the biggest variety of fresh vibrant fruit toppings I have ever seen (granted, I can't help but top off my yogurt with cookie dough balls or marshmallow). I was shocked with how inexpensive the prices were for every thing you can get, especially compared to other local ice cream parlours. Sugar Berry is my new favorite sweet tooth spot, and I am so happy to have found it!

There were tons of choices of toppings! As I was informed by my date that I was to hurried through for a sweet tooth such as hers. The froyo had good flavor but was alittle to icey for my taste. My girlfriend absolutely loved it.

I read the reviews and, as a lover of frozen yogurt, excitedly checked this place out. However, I was very disappointed. The frozen yogurt mix is clearly very low quality, as it is so cold your teeth hurt. It is also chalky. furthermore, there are not many options for the yogurt flavors.

I first discovered the phenomenon that is froyo while visiting a friend in LA years ago. The place? PInkberry. Followed by Red Mango. Then Yogurt Land. Then Orange Cream. Seriously, you can get this deliciousness every day of the week out there without repeating froyo joints! Already an ice cream addict, the froyo made my obsession suddenly feel healthy - active yogurt cultures and I didn't need to drink a gallon of water immediately after I finished my frozen treat? Yes please! Then I returned to the Mitten (aka, a land dismal with a lack of froyo). I learned there was a Red Mango in Evanston, Illinois, but four hours is hardly a reasonable drive even for froyo. In my travels, I began to seek out froyo...found it in Dallas, in Houston, in Atlanta...only to return to a froyoless existence back home. Suddenly, a frozen yogurt place appeared on MSU's campus! Joy! Rapture! Sadness when it closed! But it wasn't a long wait before Sugar Berry appeared. Hallelu. It's better than the place on campus was. Plus they have this huge sign up extolling the health-related virtues of eating their product. Heck, it's practically unhealthy NOT to eat it regularly. Yesterday they opened one on the west side of town, not five minutes from my house. This COULD become a problem. True, sometimes there are lots of high schoolers there. True, sometimes the price seems a bit steep depending on your topping choice. But I don't care. I need my froyo fix, so thank heaven for Sugar Berry. I'm just sayin'.

I have been here twice and it's fantastic frozen yogurt! I also buy gift cards for contests at work - great motivator! My favorite is hazelnut chocolate and the raspberry. Be warned though the smallest cup size available is actually larger than I would prefer - it you fill it all the way up and add toppings it won't be cheap!

I rarely pass by a fro yo place without getting some. So while in town for work, I discovered this was right by my hotel! What a great find - REALLY tasty flavors (the taro and the plum were both perfect, subtle and sweet) and great toppings (FIVE different kinds of flavored mochi including green tea mochi!!!). Really cute inside too with lots of seating and fun colors.

Late night treats that can be healthy = Win! However, this place can be expensive, so watch out. With frozen yogurt sundaes charged by the ounce, it reminds me of the frozen yogurt places that used to exist within the old Hudson's department stores. The main difference, however, is that this is 100% self serve. So customers are free to go crazy with different types of yogurts and toppings. There are lots of different toppings: fruit, candy, cookies, sauces, etc. Just watch out, they charge by the ounce, so don't go too crazy!

This place is awesome and the frozen yogurt is awesomeee

A wide variety of flavors and toppings are available. Not the greatest frozen yogurt place, but decent.

frozen yogurt heaven! about 20 flavors of yogurt and 40 or so toppings. I especially liked the popping boba! The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star is that there was a sort of bitter taste at the end and it is rather expensive but then again you can always not go over board with the toppings like i did

Absolutely delicious! Flavors rotate often so you can always try something new. Decor is bright, vibrant, and clean. Very friendly people. I am constantly urging everyone to go there. I wish there was one closer to me. But well worth the drive.

Yogart is good

Love this place, I can have as much or as little as I want with any of the great selection of toppings. Great for neurotic When Harry Met Sally types.
(5)Aaron W.
There's a big sign inside the place which lists the health benefits of eating frozen yogurt. One of them is "Eat this stuff of you will die." Simple enough. Do it. Or... you know.

Delicious frozen yogurt, self-serve, with toppings bar. Sold by weight, two or three different cup sizes available. They usually have about 10 flavors to try, and you can mix them. I really love the pomegranate and raspberry flavors mixed, topped with strawberries and flaked coconut. My daughter likes original tart with red velvet cake flavors topped with fresh strawberries. A little expensive but fun, different, and Oh So Yummy!
(5)Jennifer S.
I crave the original tart yogurt like every other night--super good with some fresh berries and mochi. Taro and cookies & cream are good too. It can get pricey though (my husband once paid $13 for just the two of us!) so I always make sure to go easy on everything.
