We have been regulars at this location since they opened and have always enjoyed it. We like all the vegetable options (spicy green beans, asparagus, tomato/cuc's/onion dish, shanghi cucumbers, etc). The salad selection was fantastic (which I am a fan of), my favorite being the Thai Chicken Noodle Salad (dark greens, poached chicken breast, radishes, peanuts, cilantro, rice noodles, peanut dressing), they also had a Thai Basil chicken noodle salad that was also very good. Unfortunately, they have removed these salads (please bring them back!) and now just have their regular standby Chopped Chicken Salad which is good, but kind of boring. Lettuce wraps are great and so is the dynamite shrimp if you like spicy hot (*tip - order the dynamite shrimp 'old school' you will get more for your money as it is on a platter and not a martini glass). If you drill down that menu there are all kinds of interesting things you can order on the "Sides" menu. We order soups/vegetable sides/appetizers and kind of make our own Tapas menu! Wine menu is very good, drink pricing is on par with the other restaurants in EastTown Mall. Jonah is one of the managers at this location and he is the best manager they have ever had. Any free time he has (when he is not working in kitchen, delivering food, organizing food line, etc,) he is out in the restaurant speaking to patrons in the bar, on the patio and making rounds in the restaurant. He is always smiling and happy to see all guests - we love chatting with Jonah and learning about new things on menu or a different way to order something. His work ethic is inspiring! Great date night restaurant.

Who doesn't like PF Chang's? In this college town, it was a good choice graduation weekend for a family meal. Apparently though, we weren't the only family who thought so. It was CROWDED. It was LOUD. I thought my 83 year old grandmother was going to have a fit with the crowd and loud, but we survived. All of the food looked amazing, but my grilled salmon was a little lack-luster. I chose it because of the spice rub the menu boasted, but the salmon itself was very bland. The appetizers were all delicious, lettuce wraps, edamame, and especially the salt and pepper calamari. My sister had the Hunan-Style Hot Fish which was absolutely fantastic. The service, for how busy the restaurant was, was good, and when I mentioned my sister was graduating the next day, they offered her a free mini dessert.

If you've been to any of the P.F. Chang franchises, there's really not a whole lot to say. Food was pretty typical of all the other P.F. Chang's we've been to. Good quality but a bit overpriced. Great: Great gluten-free selection. The kids' chicken was a hit with our kids, but instead of the regular sauces which were kind of weird (the 'honey sauce' tasted like sweet and sour), our server offered just plain honey which was a hit, but you have to ask for it specifically. Not so great: I'm not sure if my memory was faulty, but I remember the Dan Dan noodles to be a lot better than the ones we got here. They were kind of soggy and not well mixed with the sauce.

I've been to this PF Chang's several times and ways been pleased with our food and service. This evening we placed an online order to pickup with 3 entrees to share. Upon arrival, we were told it may be a few minutes while they finished getting our order around. 15 minutes later, it still wasn't out. Finally after a little while longer, they brought it out and informed us that our entire order had been comped. I was surprised and blown away that they did this without us even asking for anything. Very impressed and will continue to frequent this PF Chang's.

I'm not real sure why anyone at all eats at P.F. Changs. Maybe it's the illusion of being high end cuisine with the fancy decor or the fact that you're paying higher prices for chinese food. I have given Changs at least several chances to show me that they can create a worthwhile dish. Thus far I have not been impressed or even satisfied with anything they have done. Service is hit or miss. The food is similar to what would happen if I tried host my own episode of "Chopped" in my own kitchen with people who cannot cook and gallons of soy sauce. I find myself asking for more the the bland clumpy oatmeal like rice just to try to cut the terrible salt-laden flavors of the dishes. You could do better at most mom & pop chinese buffets at half the price. Lastly, I don't believe a single one of the photos on Yelp was taken by a patron. Trust me, the food doesn't look that good.

Went here with my family for an early Mother's Day meal and it was actually not too bad! We made a reservation at 1:30 and were promptly seated. The place is super busy and I was really happy that we made a reservation, otherwise I'm sure we would've had to wait. We had two servers as one was training. The trainee was okay, and the regular server was really good. However, there were some slight lags and waits that wouldn't have been there save for the trainee, but I won't rate them on that since she's new. We ordered 2 appetizers and 4 entrees and a soup bowl: Apps: dynamite shrimp and chicken lettuce wraps Soup: wonton soup Entrees: Mongolian beef, honey crispy chicken, Kung pao chicken, and green beans stir fried with garlic The food was pretty good! The one thing I noticed about PF Changs was that it is essentially an Americanized slightly high end Chinese restaurant. The ingredients are fresh, not oily, and almost no (if any) MSG involved. If you want typical, greasy Chinese food, this isn't the place for you. The dynamite chicken was probably my favorite app, but it was small for the price. It had a small kick and the shrimp were really tender and crispy. I'm not exactly what all the hubbub for the lettuce chicken wrap are about..it was nothing special, bland, and could've used more spices. The mongolian beef was good, but standard and a little dry and cold. The Kung pao was my favorite, but it is essentially the same thing as the honey chicken save the sauce. Overall, okay food but not worth the price. Service is excellent. Would go again, but if I want better food I'm going to a more authentic place

I have to give it five stars in spite of the noise level for two reasons: the server who was awesome and the fact that we were taking our physics student son out to dinner. The server was totally payimg attention to what we were about, we wanted to have a slow dinner with our son and she helped in every way when she realized that. PF Changs always has good food but the non rushed atmosphere she created for us was great!

Very good food & service. Great with allergies menu for my daughter(shellfish) The only complaint is with all of the pf changs is there Ma Po Tofu has gotten way to salty. I eat salty things & this is even too salty for me.

Went here to celebrate my birthday and our "special table" was shoved against a wall facing the kitchen. The resturant was disgustingly filthy. Our waiter (who used to be a cook?) was without exception the worst we've ever experienced. The food that made it to the table (which was never bused and drinks were not refilled by our MIA waiter) was mediocure at best. MY DINNER NEVER ARRIVED. My birthday,no dinner. The kitchen manager who finally stumbled to our table with one lame excuse after another wanted "to make it right" by giving me a "free appitizer" card?? As IF I would go back? He upgraded to a $30 gift card when our BIRTHDAY DESSERT and coffees never arrived once we ordered them after 35 minutes. We gave up, gave the gift card back with NO plans to return. They redeemed the disaster from a complete Titanic when the general manager comped the intire party. $200+ tab. Classy move mostly lost in this shabby sad saga. ;-(

We went to PF Chang's for lunch. It was so good. Yes, it is a chain, but, this one was particularly good and the service was served up with a smile. It is as Jackie said, the best by far and a nice layout. We all shared Chicken Lettuce Wraps, which were so good and not greasy. Then I had chinese chicken flat bread wraps. Ok, not really a Chinese restaraunt here, it is Americanized, but the food is good and I loved what I had. My friends loved their food too and they had a discount coupon. That came in handy and made lunch cheaper than usual. As far as price goes, you can get a great lunch deal but dinner is a bit pricey.

God it was awful. I had some kind of noodle dish, cold and salty...yum! The service was good at first then quickly petered out once other customers arrived. Even the beer was lukewarm. I couldn't believe how bad it was, I assumed it would be a little good, but no. I am sorry, but I don't recommend this place at all. There are some frozen dinners that are much better than what I had.

I recently received an Eastwood gift certificate, so my husband and I decided to have dinner and a movie. He loves Chinese food, so he asked if we could go to P.F. Chang's ... I'd been once before, and thought it was basically average, overpriced Chinese food, but I thought I'd give it another try and see if maybe I'd been too harsh in my initial assessment. Nope. My first impression still stands. The food was OK (I did enjoy the lettuce wraps, and my entree was pretty good), but it was too pricey, and the quantities were a lot less than at your average mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant. The service was fine. The restaurant is a little dark for my taste, but the decor is cool (they have a terracotta-soldiers-of-Xian thing going on). The worst part, though, was the absolute insanity of the place. We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening, thinking it wouldn't be that crowded -- WRONG. It was packed, and very noisy. (More dividers would probably help keep the noise level down.) After we left, my husband said he agreed with me -- it was way too much money for what we got. We'll stick to Gourmet Village or Asia's Finest.

I've always liked going to this PF Changs - it's busy every day, but the food is great and service is friendly and quick. One of those chains that doesn't really feel like a chain, you know? Anyway, while I've always liked it, something that happened last week rocketed this PF Changs into the 5 star category. A friend of our family was very ill, and staying in a nearby hospital on Christmas Eve. My mom wanted to bring food to his loved ones, who were keeping vigil with him. They were hungry, tired, and sad of course, so Mom wanted to give them a hand. When she heard they liked Chinese food, she called PF Changs and asked if they could help put together a mini-feast for his family. After helping choose a varied menu, the manager on the phone offered to throw in two extra entrees for free, since it was Christmas after all and a time to be kind to others. Touched, Mom went to go pick up the food. There was a lot of it and a waitress helped Mom carry it to the car. When Mom took our her card to pay, the manager told her to put it away, and said the entire meal would be on the house. It was their gift to the man's family, they just wanted to lift their spirits and make their lives a little easier. Such generosity is not something you see often these days, especially directed at total strangers. We went back to the restaurant two nights later, to have a big meal and thank everyone. The manager told us that the local operating partner and several of the staff members really try to step up and treat people exceptionally when an opportunity arises. The food, of course, is very good and I'd recommend the restaurant on that alone. That evening we enjoyed the Wok-Charred Beef (with sauce so tasty I ate mushrooms covered in it - and I hate mushrooms), Chengdu Spiced Lamb, and Singapore Street Noodles. Saved just enough room for the Banana Spring Rolls. I could go into more detail about that, but I honestly think their kindness is enough reason to support them. This is clearly a business that cares about their community, and I look forward to frequenting this restaurant more than ever as a result.

nice restaurant, comfortable, classy, clean. Food is just OK. Kids had Vegi fried rice, their favorite chinese dish. They didn't eat much of it, so I tried the left overs. Bland was the problem. No flavor. Wife and I split the Quinoa squash dish. It looked awesome. I really like quinoa and squash but I think that was all that was there. Plain quinoa and boiled squash. Bland. Others in our party rated their dishes 4 stars but still not outstanding for the price.

I feast at this location once a year on the way to Wheatland Music Festival. I love me some P.F. Chang's but this location always seems to be lacking in quality service. Every year we seem to be starving due to slow service and slowed down waiting on a late bill. Poor service aside the food is spot on Changs and the restaurant is impeccably clean.

Chicken noodle soup was salty, UGH! Do the cooks actually taste the soup before they serve it? Fresh shiitake mushrooms, grape tomatoes, pin rice noodles and cilantro in a spicy chicken broth. They offered a generous serving of chicken pieces in the soup, but the chicken was a bit salty too. I'll pass on ordering this soup again.

This is one of the few chains I usually walk away happy from. This particular time we were getting food to go. We walked up to the bar quickly looked through the menus and ordered. While we waited we had a quick drink. The liquor selection is ok, unless you are a scotch fan like myself. There are no good options, just ok. There is just the standard run of the mill bar stuff. The food was prepared quickly and the bartender was helpful and nice. The issue with this particular location is often it takes forever to get a table and to go orders get placed in line with in house orders so a to go order could take up to 90 minutes during peak times. We were fortunate this time because it was about 430pm on a Tuesday during winter break so it was still quiet. Plan ahead. They do not take many reservations so if you want to go get there early or very late.

Good Chinese and Chinese-influenced food at reasonable prices. Avold pricey mixed drinks and choose a reaonably-priced beer from their decent selection(Hey, it's not a brew pub, but they have one of almost everything except a weiss beer. And weiss beer would go so well with Chinese food, especially in warm weather. Alas, it was cold, and I chose a Guinness.) Everything was served promptly. Egg rolls were crispy without being too greasy, and the selection of condiments were appreciated. Executed an old standby, Sweet and Sour Chicken" perfectly. Lemon Pepper Shrimp were also delicious. A word of warning, don't take the mature adults/seniors to this location. Parking near the restaurant is inadequate. They also won't like the dark interior. And if they're looking for Chop Suey or Egg Foo Young-forget about it!

Wow, what a nice restaurant! Had my birthday dinner there recently. Great service, very quick. Intelligent and friendly server. I made my reservation online, it was easy and had no problems being seated at the right time. Everyone in my party enjoyed their appetizers, dinners, drinks and desserts. I will definately go back, but not often, I'm afraid, because it's a little pricey for me. They gave me a free mini-dessert because it was my birthday. Those minis are great because I was pretty full, but they're not too big (hence the name "mini.") Tried the lemon dream, it was dreamy!

Always excellent food, service and ambience. The "new" Pad Thai was amazing! Mongolian beef, shrimp & candied walnuts, and the sweet & sour chicken are all delicious and are sure to impress. We always bring our out-of-towner family members & friends here and I swear I sometimes think they keep coming back to visit us just to come eat at PF Changs!

On my phone, so short and sweet, everyone knows PF Changs, nothing special, I have always enjoyed the East Towne Center location off of Lake Lansing road.....until recently. Honestly, you are kidding yourself if you think the Chinese-American food is worth the price! Most people realize, you are paying a premium for perceived "upscale" chinese food and atmosphere. Recently, the girlfriend and I went during a Tuesday night rush. Long story short, from the start, we were rushed....the waiter came over after only a few minutes and said, I kid you not, "do you two need help navigating the menu" aka...."hurry up, im trying to max out my tips." I politely said we need more time, 3 min later like a robot, our waiter comes back and says the same thing...WTF! I manage hundreds of clients daily while my girlfriend is an ER nurse, I assured Tad or whatever his name was that the menu has yet to stump us.....he.must not of gotten the.point. He rushed us all the way up to the bill. He was pleasant and attentive, just very quick to get us out. it ruined our night out. We made the 30 mile drive over to Lansing to have a nice, RELAXING night out. We decided as soon as we got out of there, that we were never going to another PF Changs again.

We ordered hot and sour soup, kungpao chicken and shrimp with garlic sauce. We wanted them spicy, but the person taking order is not the same person delivering food, and the delivery guy messed up and did not give us spicy food. The soup bowl is too much for two persons and it can easily feed four people. The soup was really good. The chicken was ok but i did not like the shrimp. It was quite ordinary and blunt. I would have given 3 starts but I am giving four because of our server kelly. She was very good. When kelly came back at our table and saw the food, she provided us with a fresh bowl of shrimp with garlic sauce. The manager came, said how sorry she was and did not take any money for that item. She also suggested for soup bowl instead of individual cups.

My favorite P.F. Chang's location of all time. Best service of any location I've visited HANDS DOWN. This place got me stuck on P.F. Chang's and I have been disappointed in all subsequent visits to other locations. The lighting is dim, the drinks are amazing, the service is friendly, and the food is prepared FAST. Yes, it's a bit pricey (lunch bowls are probably your best bet if you're looking for the best bang for your buck). No, the food probably isn't that authentic. But if you like P.F. Chang's, I can highly recommend this one.

We felt the service was good, food was as expected and it had a nice atmosphere. It was easy on easy off Hwy for traveling and I'd recommend this location to stop any time. Lake Lansing Road is a common place for our family to travel when in the area for many years. I enjoyed the food. We will try it again!

3 stars? Really? It's worse than most cheap Chinese restaurants, you get less food, and prices are about double. All the sauces are way too strong and salty, the PF Chang's way I guess. Boo.

Delicious! I loved the egg drop soup, the calamari, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef and the dessert! One appetizer, two entrees and one dessert for $40!

I love PF Changs & am reviewing it simply to advise you this location is great & you will get good service. The food is the typical Asian fusion the chain is famous for. Drinks can get interesting (but pricey) so give one a shot & you're likely to find a favorite. I gave the Phillip's Lemon Chicken a try this time around & absolutely love it. The chicken was juicy, lemony (sp?) & delicious. Other favorites from this awesome eatery the lettuce wraps & crab wonton, the double pan fried noodles, Mongolian beef, the sweet & sour chicken & their fried rice with EVERYTHING (the combo). Also, if you get there & are bummed by a long wait, scout a stool at the bar or at the mini-cocktail tables to the right - you can seat yourself & be served from the full menu! =)

The best Chang's i've been to. The staff is excellent, the management will bend over backwards for you, the food is consistently good. Pros: Fun for a group, chat up the manager and you may get something comped on your bill, great drinks, you can people watch like crazy! Cons: Crazy busy all the time, a 2 hour wait is normal on Fridays, kinda pricey Advice: Make a reservation, try the mongolian beef, salt and pepper prawns, or kung pao chicken, not the sweet and sour.

Well worth the seventy mile drive. This place is awesome. Comfortable atmosphere. Staff is very professional and cleanly dressed. And, the food is amazing. The only downfall was that it was a little loud inside, but it was 7pm on a Sunday. Not really crazy prices. $90 for the 4 people with 3 appetizers, 4 meals and a dessert.

Do not go here alone, unless you want to be treated like a third class citizen!!! I am on a solo busniess trip and was excited to see that they had a happy hour, so I went early. The resturant was quiet full. Everyone in a party of two or more was recieving an additional free entree "on the house" nothing for the single diner. I had to specifically ask, as I did not want another entree, if I could have a free dessert...I was told I could have one of the little ones....I got a $2 dessert for free. I know they did not have to do anything and maybe I should be greatful, but I do not like being made to feel like I am a third class citizen just because I happen to be dining alone. I will NOT go back

Yeah, the Changs is mainstream... don't hate me for it. I always order the Orange Chicken. It melts in your mouth and leaves you full with a whole other meal for leftovers. Tonight I tried something new. The Wok Seared Beef. I'm a 50-50 fan. Part of me loved it, but the rest of me wanted more. The beef was tasty, but also a tad bland. Our waiter was amazing.. and quite easy on the eyes thats for sure. He let us order cake and eat it too after the kitchen was closed. You're lovely Brody... and I appreciate you giving us the blue superman. We'll come back soon. Minus Al Borlan this time. Awesome.

P.F. = Pretty Facile.....Changs. Expectations Expectations Expectations. Know what you are getting into and make the call. Now Ive only been here a couple of times (at others request )and I have only tried a couple of items, but I would be lying if I said the food was bad. The Spicy Changs Chix and the Kung Pao Scallops and Shrimp are P.retty F.lavorful (ok Ill stop that right now) and a decent meal with adequate portions. They have a standard ponzu, red pepper type sauce, good sides and a full bar. Now I get what they are saying, but I find it funny when people use the term "not authentic" or "americanized" when talking about PF Changs, since I challenge anyone to try 2000 "Chinese" restaurants in this country and no matter how the decor seems or how Pacific Rim the staff is, it is almost garanteed that they too will be americanized and not authentic. Most Americans have not sampled authentic Chinese cuisine especially in a restaurant. Now this is fine because the americanized chinese food we all know and love in the USA is its own genre many can enjoy. But in support of that line of thinking, P.F. does sit outside the typical appreciated American Chinese food box we all love to enjoy, much like the all fried buffet Ameri-Chinese places. The atmosphere seems elegant and clean, but more of what you might expect with a place with the word "Bistro" or "Martini" in the business name. One aspect I will compliment is that the place smells fantastic. Now my favorite "Chinese" restaurants, smell a little funny..to a point I might use the term "odor"..but with that I know the food will be good and "traditional." Now as far as price, it is pretty expensive for what is offered. Two people ordering a meal each, a side dish and a couple drinks, can cost you about $50. Im not a big fan of chain restaurants, (which this is) and I avoid them if I can...but some feel comfortable in them. ...? So with good company and a full bar, one can usually find at least ONE item on a ChiliBenniAppleChangs menu worthy of no complaints, even if it means ordering a burger and fries. So try P.F. if you would like.. And feel free to wear your old yellow and blue tube socks with the elastic melting away, since Changs will NOT knock your socks off...because P.F. will lack the charm you can find somewhere else. But you will likely get a good meal, and a good sized Tab...and I dont mean A pink canned sugarless soda pop from the 80's, tallboy. (Do they make 'Tab' anymore?)

I love PF Chang's, although I was not impressed with this location. I stopped here for pick-up this week, as I was alone and wanted to take it to my hotel room since I hate eating alone in restaurants. Ordered and was told 15-20 minutes. I showed up about 20 minutes later. Was sent to the bar by the front hostess, and was ignored at the bar for some time. Finally, the bartender asked my name, then started waiting on others at the bar without looking for my order. Another girl came up for take out and was standing by me, and she was ignored for some time as well. Prob about 15 minutes later I had my food. The bartender kinda acted like we were a nuisance, and I did not act annoyed one time. I think he had too much on his plate, but still. Anyway, I am guessing it was just a busy night for him, but I have had much better experiences at other Chang's locations, like the one in Dearborn, MI, and Troy, MI.

I've always thought that the food at P F Chang's was tasty, but I wasn't sold on P F Changs until I had a crappy experience there. That's when I realized how customer focused everybody is! Here's the story: My friend, her 1-year old baby, and myself were looking for a place for lunch. We decided P F Chang's because she loves Chinese and had never been. We wanted to sit outside but the seats were limited and they only had a table for 6 out there, so we asked to sit outside They said it'd be a 20 minute wait and I was about ready to eat my arm so we'd agreed to sit inside. The inside was SO noisy and crowded. The dining room is spacious with no walls - sort of like a dimly-lit cafeteria. The baby was getting fussy and the noise was inappropriate, so we discussed leaving but I was so hungry I kept telling her that it would be worth it once the food arrived. ***The problem: THE SERVER NEVER ARRIVED!!! - I mean nobody! Not even someone offering us a glass of water. We sat there for 10 minutes with no service. We were getting up to leave and this server says, "Are you leaving because nobody waited on you?" We replied, "Yes!" and proceeded to the parking lot. All of a sudden the hostess came chasing after us and says, "My manager says if you come back we'll pay for your entire meal and all of your beverages. Will you please stay?" We couldn't pass up free food!! So we agreed to go back. This time they sat us at the 6 person table on the patio. We got the lettuce wraps as an appetizer - TO DIE FOR!!. The entree was fantastic, though I can't remember what I got, and the dessert was SO GOOD! We got the fried bananas with orange pineapple ice cream. The manager insisted that we try a new dessert wine that he had just got in and it wasn't even on the menu yet. Yum! There are a lot of restaurants that would have just let us walk out the door without a care. The fact that the server in the dining room cared enough to share our unhappiness with her manager and have the hostess chase us down in the parking lot was pretty impressive. No doubt in my mind I will be back!

A lot of places have good food, but this is the nicest place I've been to in the area. The decor was elegant, atmosphere romantic, food tasty, servers friendly & attentive. They also had single serve bottles of decent champagne, for those who want less than a full size bottle. It's pricey for take-out at night, but affordably high for dining in.

I am not partial to PF Chang's...I had gone there twice when it first opened and was less than impressed both times. The first time I ordered Broccoli and Beef and it tasted like they dumped a gallon of maple syrup in it. Gross. The next time I ordered something to the effect of Chicken Lo Mein and I couldn't believe how OILY it was. My pores were gushing canola after trying to eat that. The only reason I went back is because my godmother invited me to dinner there, so I went, intending to order lettuce wraps and leaving it at that; but my godmother, being the kind of woman she is, she ordered me two shrimp dishes and they were actually pretty good, so I feel obliged to give PF Chang's an extra star for that. Otherwise, I feel they are overpriced for food that really isn't that good.

This has to be my favorite P.F. Chang's location! The service, food, atmosphere, and layout is by far the best. SERVICE: I've been here countless times for birthdays, dinners with the significant other, dinners with friends, large group dinners, dinners with my parents...and all I've enjoyed the service! The staff here was great on my occasions and would always allow us to customize a meal if we wanted. FOOD: I felt the food was prepared here well and everything always tasted great. I fell in love with the lettuce wraps here and was introduced to Sesame Chicken which I haven't found to be done in other locations. ATMOSPHERE: I like the dim lighting, decorations and the arrangement of the tables. I love that the booths are up higher and the remainder of the tables are put in such a way you don't feel crowded. My advice: Always call ahead for a reservation especially Thursday-Sunday. It's a college town AND it's located in the Eastwood Towne Center so it fills up fast!

Chang's is a good place to go if you're with good company. The set up seems to be made to encourage conversation and people watching. The open booth's, close tables, and open kitchen. Good company can make nearly any restaurant seem better. If you're looking for top notch Chinese food, then you should probably go somewhere else. PF Chang's caters to the Americanized Chinese food lover. It's not horrible but definitely not authentic (or what I think is authentic).

  • Ruben L.

PF Changs, how do you get away with it? My friend graduated from MSU, and he invited me and a couple of other friends to his graduation ceremony here. My friend and I (both Asian) sat through the meal, stupified as to why people are coming here. Here is the bottom line- if you're coming here expecting authentic, reasonably priced, Chinese food, this isn't your place. PF Changs is Americanized Chinese food, and you're paying for the name and ambience, more than you are for the food. As long as you come in with these expectations, then you might not be as disappointed. For me, I don't think I can ever like a place like this. I already have a predisposition to hating chains, and a place like this only reinforces it. The food is average at the very best and the prices are way more than they should be.

Great service!!! These guys know how to make a great fine dining experience wonderful. The cost is not bad for the type of food you are getting as well. My favorite is there is the wine. They have such a great selection and they are always great about giving their opinion about what wine is best with what meal I choose to have. Having knowledgeable staff that are friendly and good food at a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

Well this is the first time I went there. I was with a friend and we ordered lobster roll and kung pao chicken.... The lady who served us .. She was nice and took us to our tables right away... And it took them less than 15 minutes to bring our food. However... My friend specifically asked not to put any peanuts and they missed that.. Also... The silverware was not cleaned well and had a lot of marks... Like when you wash and don't wash off the water.... She brought new one and that was also the same ... The food was good. So. Good ambience... Good crowd.. Food is good... But no attention to detail..

It wasn't the worse Asian food, but let's face we've all had bad Asian food at some point!! But it is the worse P.F. CHANGS I've been too!! It's looks like the owner here in Lansing is doing her own style Try and stay with the program as eventually more of us will notice! You should really get ck'd out by franchise and maybe try something else before you really mess up!! Signed NOT HAPPY My waiter was great!!

The food is pf changs food. Its usually good. (Untill they have used the same pan for 10 lettuce wraps in a row then you get the burnt chucks of crispy crap) Our server was sarah. Im a server in a high class dinning establishment so i kinda understand the job. I know thatyou dont rush your table! Thats for sure... So were meeting up for a birthday party. Friend number 1 calls to make a reservation and they arnt taking them that day... friend number 2 calls. Same thing. Then i call while on my way to let them know we have 8 people coming. They FINALLY take a name down and get our table ready. So we showed up early, as they wernt taking reservations. We were 30mins early. Tried to order some apps, Sarah kept walking past us finally we got her attention. I say we're going to order some apps becsuse were hungry and our friends are taking their time (jokingly but still side about the food) she says "well is crunch time and there's a2 hour wait limit" HA OK! Weve only been sitting for 10 mins at this point. Half of us are there. One more shows up and Sarah asks in a concerned voice "do you know when the rest will be here?" I told her they are supposed to be here at 6, she just walks away. Rude. We got there at 530 because they wernt taking reservations. We didnt want everyone to have to wait! And in less than 20 mins shes telling us we have a time limit. I know that our table and one other table was her only 2 tables because she said something about it which i overheard. So she was just trying to push us out as fast as possible to get another table in. On top of all of it. She didn't want to offer desert we had to ask for the menu and she knew there was a birthday girl there. Then we were walking out and saw her and she didnt give us fortune cookies so we asked and sarah rolls her eyes.... ill never come back to this location. Ive never had such a rude server in my life and im pretty easy going because i know how it is when your busy! Bitch wasnt even busy and we got horrible service. I forgot to mention that are drinks were empty more than they were full....

Building is clean and looks quite nice however the food is expensive and quantities are small. We had lettuce wraps ($10) which are always good. I ordered Mongolian beef ($16) when I tried it the beef was tough and dry with very little flavor.

Like most all Pf Changs Ive been too, this one was fantastic. Great expereince at the bar witH Kat, had a wonderful meal, and all throughout the time there this awesome bartender did not miss a beat. I love this brand, I love the food, and I love that all the employees here have tenure and emulate the mission proudly. Very excellent spot!

We come here about once a year for the last 10 years...and the quality and service remains great. The restaurant is always busy which tells you people like the place. On this trip our group ordered Sake and imported beer, fried green beans and lettuce wraps to start..all great. Then soups- hot n sour and egg drop...great. Main course consisted of scallops, orange peel beef, cashew almond chicken...all delish. The deserts looked great but we were all stuffed. Our server was fun and knowlegable..and special requests were gladly fulfilled. Great service. Our total bill for 4 was aprox $120 which was more than fair given how happy we were with the meal. We really need to come here more often!

The first time we tried to come here was 5:30pm on a Saturday, and it was a 1.5hr wait. We learned and made a reservation for a Friday night this time. Due to the popularity I had decent expectations. I do like their ambiance, the Moscow Mule cocktail was refreshing, and the service is speedy, but only 1/3 of our order was good and the rest I'd be happy never to have again. We started with the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, a signature dish. I liked the fried noodles, but it was pretty salty even though I used very little filling for the lettuce. Steamed shrimp dumplings. $10 for 6 pieces is pricey, but the skin was thick and tough, and black bean sauce too salty. It also smelled fishy. We shared the Hunan Hot Fish -awful, generous portion but had an identity crisis. It was sweet, sour, but least of all spicy without any distinguished flavor. The Red Wine Pepper Braised Beef special -Very good. It was like a fancy beef with broccoli with lean tender pieces of beef. There was good heat and flavor but wasn't salty. A winner. Singapore Noodles, which we've had at a dozen other places. This might've been the worst. We asked that it be spicy, and it was super salty and vinegary. I suspect they poured hot sauce in it!! A complete travesty. Last, we had the Banana Spring Roll -one of the best ice creams I've ever had was the accompanying toasted coconut and pineapple ice cream. I want to learn to make this, so I can eat it all the time. It's super smooth and creamy with strong vanilla, coconut, and pineapple flavor but not too sweet. The actual banana spring roll was too sweet to me because of all the honey poured on. Overall, I wouldn't go back because we just felt disgusting after all the salt and oil. I wasn't expecting it to be authentic, but would've appreciated if it actually tasted good. There was just no balance of flavors. I could see it being popular for the drinks and ambiance, though. Might be better just for happy hour.

Called for take out- they did great job confirming order and checking to make sure available pick up time would accommodate me. Service was excellent. Highly recommend.

First time at P F Chang!! Wife decided to finally ask me to go, I can sometimes be picky!! Walked in the place was quiet unlike most places we go. The decor I think is really cool. My wife orders Lettuce Wraps for starters. Never had would normally not even try. I am extremely happy I decided to try. They were awesome. Crunchy lettuce with chicken, mushrooms, water chestnuts (usually picked out of everything else I have with them) and scallions. Very tasteful combination, my new love of the year. Main course was Broccoli and Beef. Had this at other places but this was by far the best I've had. Ginger was a new flavor with the dish but it was a good one. Marissa was absolutely awesome. During our chatting with her she mentioned her day started off horribly. In no way did this manifest itself as she waited on us!!!!

Anyone who knows how to cook a decent meal at home, and anyone with a sense of taste, is laughing at you for going here. Seeing this place busy makes anyone who appreciates authentic Chinese weep inside. Here's how to experience PF Chang's at home: Go to Meijer, buy a $6 freezer tray of Sweet and Sour Chicken, then at the checkout give a $10 bill to the person behind you in line, then go home and microwave your food while thinking really hard about how you spent $16 on this meal, so it better be good. Voila, the full PF Chang's experience.

Excellent environment. Satisfied services. But it is not CHINESE!!!!!! It is basically the luxury version of Panda Express. Recommend for people seeking for a nice place to eat. Not recommend for people who would like to taste and be amazed by real Chinese food.

Nothing wrong with the food, but it's no more special than any other Chinese - American restaurant. Honestly, I think I get a better deal at my local carry out joint. It's big and noisy, not much in the way of atmosphere. I won't be returning for awhile.

I'm a little confused as to why this place only has three and a half stars? I don't come here often but when I do I'm always happy. The ambiance is always amazing, the service is stellar, and the food is damn good. I can't ever go and not get the lettuce wraps. This time I tried the noodle soup for the first time and it was amazing. I also like the creative cocktails that they feature. Anyway this place is great and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Way over priced for the quality of the meal! Years ago I loved this place, but lately it has been disappointing. The food is just weak of flavor and not what you would expect. Curry dishes are dull, fried rice is dull... Actually, Pei Wei is better in my opinion.

A PF Chang's is generally a PF Chang's. As far as they go this one is pretty hit and miss. Sadly more misses than hits.

I don't know what the PF Chang hype is all about or maybe it is just this particular one. I have been here 4-5 times and every time I am so disappointed. The food just plain sucks. The only good thing is the lettuce wraps. Save your money and buy the frozen PF Chang meal which tastes better than what they serve here

Great place. Their lettuce wraps are my favorite. My husband loves their Mongolian beef dish. We typically get great service. We`ll be back for sure.

Finally got around to trying PF Changs. What an expensive disappointment. The Kung Pao Chicken was bland and dry. No flavor to it other than the heat from the chilis. The Pepper Steak was also bland and needed more seasoning. The white rice was clumped together--too wet. Egg rolls seemed to be undercooked and too greasy. We tried the 3 treats option for dessert: tiramisu, salted caramel cake, and chocolate peanut butter crunch. All 3 were very similar in flavor and more sweet than any flavor. Overall, the entrees and desserts tasted like it all came from the frozen food section and bakery of a grocery store. Definitely not worth what it cost. My advice: find a GOOD mom/pop restaurant if you want tasty good quality Americanized Chinese food.

Amazing food and drinks. Service is always good. They're pretty busy most nights but it's easy to get into the "open" seating area. Longest we've waited was 20 minutes.

Enjoyed Jasmine tea on a cold rainy day, it has a nice spice to it. Had ginger chicken lunch special, while I enjoyed the wonton soup that the server let me subsultitute I had to ask for a second plate as the ginger sauce overwhelmed the chicken and broccoli dish. Good service and would come back asking for them to go light on sauces.

Lettuce wraps, pork dumplings, kung pao chicken were perfect. Our waiter was so helpful. Dragon eye oolong tea. Nice experience. We like it spicy.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
