I really enjoy this place. It's a great greasy spoon diner with nothing healthy on the menu! The service it always excellent and I eat here 1-2 a week. Great people!

With sadness I have to report I just had the worst service EVER here. Food was delish as always, but new server (have not seen her before) was horrible with follow up on coffee refills & bill delivery. Disappointed with my favorite breakfast place in Lansing.

A great place to catch a great home style meal, cheap and taste great. Small quant, limited seating.

Their food is usually really good and their staff is friendly. It's a nice quiet little restaurant if you're looking for a decent breakfast for a reasonable price. They don't have a huge menu to pick from but what you order usually tastes really good. Usually pretty quick service if they aren't super busy.

Golden Harvest? Oh yeah, but I want to eat now. Hadn't been out for breakfast in Lansing in over 10 years, but somethings are still static. 1)Golden Harvest is the destination for breakfast eats in Lansing. 2)Golden Harvest always has a line. 3)Some undergrad girl will always say something to the effect of "Yummy & worth the wait." This may be true, even coming from a demographic thats main intake is chicken fingers and energy drinks. And Finally, 4) Old Town Diner is right around the corner from GH, is not nearly as crowed, has awesome food and rock-bottom prices. Had breakfast there this week, still great after all the years. Fresh, cooked to order, good quantity, and great prices. Excellent toast! Fairly clean and server was friendly and attentive. It's not the Old Town Diner is great because Golden Harvest is busy. GH is another type of place, more of an experience with great food at the end, and is excellent. Old Town is great in it's own right, but I would never have gone there back in 99' if it wasn't for GH. Now that the Old Town area is gentrified, it is nice to see the Diner carries on. Cheers!

Good basic "mom and pop" variety diner food. Great breakfast options and good portion sizes... I think'll I'll be back on the NEXT 'snow day'!

Nice little gem of a diner in Old Town Lansing. The people are super friendly and their food is a good, stick to your ribs breakfast food at very reasonable prices.

Worst experience ever. I ordered a tuna melt (MELT) and it came out cold to the touch with the cheese not melted at all. I flagged the waitress down to ask her if they could heat it up and she said "It will melt, just give it a second" and walked away. (!!!) So, I sat there for 10 minutes while my friends ate, while it of course did not melt, and would have told her to take it back or heat it up but she never came back to check on us! Ever. 20 minutes later we see her in the back folding silverware. Then she walks by us several times helping a new table and doesn't check on us or acknowledge us in any way. 40 minutes goes by where we're just sitting there waiting for our check or any service at all. Guess they don't really need our business. We had to go find her because I didn't want to sit in the crap hole all day. I told her it never melted and asked her to take it off the bill. No apology. Just attitude. I won't be back.

Down home just plain good breakfast. No nonsense, friendly staff. Since they went non-smoking they've lost some of their more colorful regulars who used to sit and drink coffee and smoke all morning - hope they come back because they are so entertaining. They always get my eggs right - over medium, white cooked, yolk runny. Perfect.

Nice people, great prices, average food. Came here after discovering that Sawyer's had closed, so it may be that the deep depression from that discovery clouded my taste buds! Eggs/bacon/h browns were pretty typical. My companion's pancakes were dry and overcooked. We'll continue our search for a new breakfast spot.

This is a nice locally owned diner. The wait for tasty food is short. Of the four people in my party, everyone was satisfied with the taste, portion, and cost of their meals. The staff was friendly and efficient, though we could have used quicker attention to refills.

My wife and I went here one day when our usual breakfast place had a power outage, breakfast fare was prepared great, eggs are hot and toast is not burnt. A little in need of a makeover inside, but a friendly staff!

Simple, quick, delicious, and cheap. Great service, too. Had the breakfast burrito which was very tasty, but the hash browns that came with were even tastier. My daughter had some French fries... Best I've had in a long time. I'll go back for sure.
