Decent quality sushi at an affordable price with very large portions. Also a breath of fresh air when you want a break from sandwich options in downtown Lansing. Had the black dragon roll and it was so filling that I regret buying a second smaller spicy roll (and I hadn't eaten all day). Both were delicious. but the best draw is their hot foods! The friends I was with got some lovely hot soup and beef bowls and I was so jealous how delicious it looked! Service was amicable and the restaurant was quaint, perfect size! If your in the area and want a quick sushi for lunch this is a decent spot to hit that craving. Finished up the meal with a bubble tea. It's a good day!

Pretty decent spot for some quick sushi - nothing amazing, but pretty solid. They have a nice array of options on the menu and also plenty of ready-to-go rolls of sushi as well. If you're on the run for lunch or just want a few rolls quickly, it's your spot - though won't satisfy if you're craving an unami experience.

The sushi is good but the reason you should go is for the hot food. I recommend the braised pork rice, the spicy noodle soup or the inferno noodles.

I wasn't a fan of this place. I really like the concept of a quick, grab and go sushi place. However, I'm not sure I like how this place carried out the concept. It's reasonably priced but it more or less ends there. I had the fire dragon roll and it wasn't cut. I had a spicy pork or beef soup that was salty but otherwise pretty bland. My friend tried the Udon shrimp tempura soup and couldn't finish it. On a positive note, the honey dew melon tea was pretty refreshing and the food was out quick. However most of the food is prepackaged (think grocery store sushi). I wouldn't recommend this place unless you feel rushed and absolutely must have sushi.

As express as sushi can be. Affordable, good quality, decent options. I always walk in and order to-go. I prefer my rolls made right when I order instead of just grabbing from the pre-made stuff (yes, you can do this). And although small, the dining part is comfortable enough if you're just hanging out for a quick bite. Friendly service too. It's also the closest downtown area sushi joint. Totally different from other Lansing sushi restaurants because it's more of a grab-and-go place with a simplistic menu.

Wow what a find! I needed a quick fix before leaving town and this was the perfect spot! I was able to grab some ready made sushi and it was dang tasty stuff all well done.

They have great platters for catering that can be used for large groups. The deals are also good if you order one platter for having 5-6 people over to your place and don't want to cook yourself.

Excellent, affordable sushi provided at a charming location and with top-notch service. The boba tea will knock your socks off.

I love coming to this place when I have downtime between classes at LCC. The staff is really friendly and the prices are reasonable. The sushi is good, but I mean, you get what you pay for. Not as tasty as Omi or Maru, but still satisfies my sushi cravings when I'm at school! Honestly the best thing this place has to offer is their tea drinks and smoothies. Best I've ever had for sure.

Excellent variety of sushi ready to go, but they will also make orders quickly if your favorite isn't on display. Price is right and they have a great selection of bubble tea flavors. Friendly owners and employees too! Could use more sashimi options but nearly perfect and extremely convenient for downtowners. Warning: avoid the greenery hanging from the building a few steps down next to the alley if you are allergic to bees.

This place was ok. I wasn't sure what I was walking into at first. They don't have servers... You just go up to a cooler and everything is pre-made in plastic containers. I almost walked away since I'm fairly anti pre-made sushi. BUT I was starving and the price was decent. You pick out what you want and take it to your table and that's it. They claimed that the rolls were made right before they opened. They were fairly fresh actually, but would've preferred made to order.

I am a big fan of AnQi sushi. They have wonderful sushi that looks clean and healthy. What's more the price is very resonable! I love their boss as well! By the way, they have 'buy one get one free' activity from 5:00pm-5:30pm. Really good place~

This place is great. The sushi is fresh, cheap and good. It's clean and the staff are friendly. I've gone here a lot and I recommend this place to everyone I know. The price is what really makes this place. You can get a 12 piece california roll for around 5$. That's all I've ever gotten here so I can't speak for anything else but the quality is consistent.

Competitive/Snotty Staff - Yuck! I loved this place, went there many times and filled out my punch cards... Until today, that is... The kid working today at AnQi Sushi Express just argued with me about what makes up a Philadelphia Roll. They had a crab salad roll listed as a Philly roll, and when I politely pointed out to him that it was mismarked, he got all snippy and said he's "never had a Philly roll that included salmon - that's weird." Yes, Philly = cream cheese as I agreed, but SALMON too. He was rude, and made a big deal out of my inquiry for no real reason. I was the only customer at the time, so it couldn't have been to save face. I know my sushi Sir, clearly you don't.

I like the food, but I asked for a couple little cups of the spicy sauce for my 12 piece Spicy Philly Roll, and they gave me 1 little cup. I asked for another and they said no, that I could have only 1. This was a 3/4 ounce cup only half full, so there was about 1 tablespoon of sauce. How stingy. What poor customer service.

So happy to finally have sushi in downtown Lansing. This is a small spot but bright and clean. Many of their most popular selections are packed up to go. So far I've only had the spicy tuna roll. It's great to be able to quickly grab a good lunch for $5.08 including tax. The people are nice and very willing to help. One improvement I would really like--the introduction of salad and miso soup.

I LOVE this place ~ from the customer service to the extremely tasty Sushi that is very reasonably priced, all is fantastic. I'm glad they opened up in the downtown Lansing area and I look forward to enjoying more. It was suggested I try the "Lansing Roll" and I am very happy I did, its a new favorite. Enjoy!
